1. A /banall Command to Combat Followbots

   As a mod for an LGBTQ+ and trans streamer, we have been hit with a ton of followbots coming in and spamming chat with hateful intent. I had an idea for a command that would ban all accounts that have followed in a recent timeframe.

   For example, (/banall 10) would ban all accounts that have followed in the last 10 minutes. This would greatly reduce the amount of time that moderators have to spend on banning all accounts separately. I spent an hour last night doing so, and while I had backup to monitor chat, I know that many smaller streamers might not have that luxury.

   In addition, a way to select multiple usernames to ban/report would greatly improve the interface, as we could then at least try to keep up with the fake accounts, and keep our communities safe.

2. permanent bans

   immediate permanent bans shouldn't be allowed. give a warning in whispers. if warning appears in chat it can be easily missed. also if the person doesn't understand what they did wrong have it explained first instead of permanent banned. good people can get permanently banned to easily.

3. Bits cannot be directly exchanged for items or services of value

   In "Bits Acceptable Use Policy / Now the Don’ts that constitute violations of this policy:" we can see that it is included in don*ts "graphic design services". I think this is totally wrong. Why I am thinking that? 1st you (Twitch) loosing a large amount of money because of that and there is nothing wrong with offering designer services in exchange for bits. You like it or not, bits are some kind of currency and streamers using it for all kind of things on their live streams. If you really want to push this "Now the Don’ts that constitute violations of this policy:" policy in a wide meaning you will have to ban half of a twitch streamers. In a nut shell bits only can be used to be gifted to streamer without asking anything in return from streamer and I agree with that because that mean "no return back when u make a gift in bits" ,,, but, someone gifted me some amount of bits and because I want to thank him on some way I would make some graphic design for his twitch,,, is that against Bits ToS? You see, there is nothing wrong with that. There is no exchange, there is only good will between us. Of course you can turn that around and say that this was some kind of payment. Well, maybe you dont know but everything is some kind of payment.
   2nd. If you remove "graphic design services" you will get a lot of designers from other platforms which are made for that kind of services. What I am offering on my Twitch channel? Someone who need some graphic design can watch me working on that what he/she need (graphic design). This is excellent! Because he/she can make corrections till I working and whole job will take less time than if I doing it on some other site dedicated to graphic designers and selling their services. You see where I am going and why twitch is way better place to sell graphic designs than other sites on web?
   In short ...
   By removing "graphic design services" you will get a lot more transfers/use of bits, which is probably what you want from users to do. Designers and people who use designers services will not be scared of ban on twitch. You will get a ton of designers from other web pages who will like to offer their services on twitch because on twitch is way way easier to do graphic design stuff for wide variety of customers just because customers can interact with designer in a process of design which is base of good, quick and satisfied customer in a graphic designers world.
   OK, I hope you got it on a right way.

4. Different domain for adult content

   Twitch platform has thousands of users who are underage kids. Based on that, hot tub streamers should be moved and separated to different domain ieg. twitch.adults.tv so that you will not get sued from promoting pedophilia on your website.
   Young adults think that hot tub streamers do soft **** and there is a paper thin line to pedophilia and it is ********* that Twitch allows this phenomena to continue on their website.

5. Password/2FA Requirement on Change Payout Method (Twitch Affiliate/Partner).

   This feature very important for every streamer earning from Twitch.

   Logon 2FA Requirement do not enough for who got hacked by silent.
   And too many streamer don't check email.

   In case my friend (twitch affiliate) got hacked.
   It changed payout information without email notification(don't know reason).
   And got her earn to hacker paypal account.
   Region support can't help or slow progress, suggest to contact HQ Twitch.
   Too many step progress to resolve this case and unsure it resolve.
   Streamer have concern can got hack again if change new password and change payout back.
   Investigated don't know why got hacked, That pc don't install any suspicious software or chrome extension.

   I think this feature too important. "Password authentication or 2FA when who need to change his Payout Information".

   Second Suggest, Twitch should sent email notification before payout someone about 5-7 days.
   because streamer can break or call support if payout information is incorrect before money gone.

6. Make body shaming an actionable / bannable offense once and for all

   I'm going to say this once, I want ALL body shaming to be bannable offenses. If I don't mention certain types of body shaming, please don't think that means I don't take it seriously or that I think it should not be included. I decided to make this post after finding out that you get emails whenever a report leads to action being taken. That means 95% of the reports I have made against body shaming IN THE LAST 2 YEARS have had no action taken.

   Yesterday I unfollowed yet another streamer who didn't moderate body shaming in their chat and neither did their moderators. I'm going to give 3 examples of the body shaming I see constantly. This isn't a contest. These are just my observations from 2 years of watching Twitch. I'll also give several examples of how these examples bleed into other problematic areas such as transphobia, ableism, and racism.

   1. Fat shaming. Neckbeard and "fat f*" are some of the most popular terms I've heard. Yes neckbeard is a reference to a type of body. Overweightness (if that's a word) and enough facial hair to cover the neck. It's explicitly a body shaming term. Overweight people have to deal with a lot of judgement and hatred that heavily impacts their self esteem and mental health. There are also medications and disorders / diseases that can dramatically impact a person's weight.

   2. Height shaming. Hoooo boy. This is an issue I have faced my whole life that has contributed to my heart being filled with a lot of hate. I'm a 5'2 Dominican male. It is absolutely NOT an exaggeration to say that 80% of the time whenever height is brought up on Twitch, height shaming "jokes" are made by the streamer or chat or both. A lot of these jokes aren't even jokes, they're just flat out degradation.

   On top of that is the 100% social acceptance of this shaming and how often it's used to attack or "own" any users that make problematic comments in chat. Would you believe me if I said it's gotten to the point where my heart starts to race whenever a user makes a comment that the streamer and / or chat finds distateful? A lot of the times body shaming is used to attack these people and it ends up, ONCE AGAIN, hurting people like me.

   How is height shaming not racist? My race is shorter than white and black people on average. Everytime I speak out against height shaming I get flamed to **** and back and / or moderated. HOW IS THIS OK?

   How is height shaming not ablest? There are a PLETHORA of disorders, conditions, and diseases that can cause shorter height. God forbid someone being height shamed is also dealing with suicidal thoughts, hopelessness, and / or depression.

   How is height shaming not transphobic? Trans men are erased almost entirely. Trans men on average are shorter than cis men. They have to deal with a tremendous amount of shaming that can cause them to constantly doubt whether they'll ever be considered "real" men in the eyes of society. Trans teens (especially trans masculine) have an astronomical attempted suicide rate. This is one of the many examples of why I roll my eyes when I hear people on Twitch claim to care about mental health. The default attitude (Although of course this isn't specific to Twitch) to problematic behavior being called out is ridicule, rage, and of course moderation.

   1. ***** size shaming. If it's possible for a form of shaming to be more than 100% socially acceptable, then ***** size shaming would be it. It's utterly disgusting how this evil practice is not only not punishable, but seems to also be in the top 3 most popular attacks against anyone that makes a problematic comment in chat, especially if that comment is sexist. So something men have NO control over which affects *** and love (2 important areas of life and fulfillment) as well as self esteem gets no protection when it comes to abuse.

   This includes highly problematic terms like BDE (Big D Energy) and SDE (Small D Energy). This also includes that horrific chat bot tool or whatever, that tells people what their ***** size is. I have seen this in so many streams and there's almost always some dehumanizing comment after the result if the result is considered small. For example "Your ***** size is 2 inches. RIP". This lovely world routinely dehumanizes men with small penises by telling them to kill themselves, telling them they will never satisfy women (While also dehumanzing them for not being sexually successful of course), repeatedly blaming violent or problematic actions on men with small penises, and of course telling them directly and indirectly that they are not real men.

   How is this not transphobic? Did you know trans men, who have gotten bottom surgery, tend to have smaller penises on average. Dear god I can't imagine how unbelievably difficult it must be for trans men to have any confidence or love their bodies in the face of the near infinite amount of emotional abuse that they face. YES it's emotional abuse.

   There are already a lot of studies that show body shaming contributes to suicidal thoughts. Do you all understand that the shame is so great that there are men who are afraid of mentioning their ***** size in any suicide notes they might leave behind if they commit suicide. The blame for feeling sad or mad is also put on the men. The issue is the emotional abuse and bullying that is so incredibly pervasive and the collosal pushback against anyone who speaks out, especially if that person is a man. That's why so few men speak out. Check out the subreddits that talk about that stuff. Check out trans masculine subreddits as well.

   There's also the fact that this shaming is so powerful that it also affects men with average size penises. There are men who don't get physicals for years because of the shame. There is NO EXCUSE for treating this type of abuse differently other than you just don't want to admit how evil it is. Gaslighting men by saying "Hey pal it doesn't matter XD, just don't think about it no one cares" is just more emotional abuse.

   You don't dehumanize someone 24/7 for something they can't control and then tell them to not think about it. Far too many people do this to justify any rolling of eyes or anger at men who have to deal with it. The truth is people know how evil it is and often times just want to put the blame on the men and / or quickly move on to another topic. This type of shaming absolute crushes self esteem and if you think it doesn't create any anger or hatred you're in denial or just flat out lying.

   Twitch for the love of god please take a stand, preferably a strong one, against ALL body shaming. Make it an actionable / bannable offense. If it already is then fire the people who analyze reports and get a new team. ALL gaslighting with regards to the effects of body shaming need to stop. ALL body shaming needs to stop. You may disagree but I absolutely put body shaming on par with other isms and phobias. The toll to mental health is astronomical.

   I'm going to say this once, I want ALL body shaming to be bannable offenses. 7. Subscribers safety

   Allow subscribers to Block from their view, conversations with Mods in all environments if the Mod has continued to be aggressive & abusive. Subscribers should not be subjected to bullying. As a subscriber, some channels are not safe zones because the Mod is “security” for Streamer and not an agent of a safe healthy community. I have unsubscribed to these channels in an effort to protect my peace. I have requested Mod to refrain from messaging or attempting to communicate as it is always negative & toxic. Please consider allowing subscribers/customers to have more control over their engagement.

8. You guys can ban creators but you can't protect them from DMCA?

   This makes 0 sense. You have no problem banning people for inappropriate content or things you disagree with, yet when DMCA comes down on you, it's up to us as content creators to protect ourselves?

   You don't get to regulate a platform, and then things get tough, decide you don't want the responsibility anymore. Either ban content AND protect creators yourselves from the DMCA strikes, or do neither. Doing both shows you're just a bunch of greedy pieces of crap who really don't care about your creators. I know your a company and your main thing is to make money - I'm not going to pretend that's not the case. But at least don't pretend like you guys actually give a crap.

9. Could Twitch maybe stop the adverts using transphobic language?

   So, I get it, today is Women's History Month. I saw the ad on Twitter using the term "womxn" - a term used deliberately to exclude trans women, and one that most trans women - including myself - find incredibly offensive.

   If you don't want us on your platform, and if we're not welcome in the Twitch community, there are easier ways to tell us that by publicly invalidating our identity.

   Absolutely disgraceful that a company that used to pride itself on promoting an inclusive, safe space for creators is using and promoting such disgusting language.

10. "Unban Appeal Stream" = Harassment and Bullying Stream

    I see a lot of streamers doing these "Unban Appeal" stream on their channel as "content". While the streamers and viewers may think this is an entertaining for content, it is often very toxic for the community.

    The person got banned for a reason for breaking TOS or either not appropriate for chat, and their chat texts were deleted by moderators. Do we really need to revisit their toxic comments on stream again and display their chat or read it out aloud again? These comments were deleted for a reason right?

    Most of the time, this becomes Harassment and Bullying stream towards the person who got banned. Chat becomes really toxic and starts calling out the person banned. And then you need to further moderate chat even more. This only promotes more trolls and people trying to get banned so they can get 'featured' on unban appeals stream in the future. Streamers only open themselves up to get reported for bullying and harassment (TOS violation).

    I believe streamers should be privately taking care of their own ban appeals not on stream.

    These streams are very unpleasant to watch, toxic and unhealthy for the community as they violate the Harassment, Abuse, Bullying Community Guidelines.

    Twitch should look into this matter and ban these "Unban Appeal Streams".

11. Ban the phrase "white privilege"

    Beside being obviously racist; I find it insulting to assume because one is white they inherently have some sort of privilege that is not available to others. Instead of focusing more on the behavioral aspects of one's own community.

12. Video games need to be included in copyright, requiring permission from the creator or sponsorship to stream.

    I think if Twitch is going to be taking copyright more seriously moving forward, then they need to include video games in that as well. As it stands, there are many streamers, both partnered and otherwise, profiting off someone else's work without their explicit permission or sponsorship. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but video games should require permission/sponsorship to broadcast just like any other copyrighted material.

14. How Far will thoughtcrime go on Twitch?

    Words. Language. The way in which we communicate our thoughts and feelings. Twitch seems to want to continue to ban more and more words. When does it stop? What does Twitch look like in 2024? Can anyone say anything without being in fear of being banned? How long do big streamers stay on a platform that curbs their freedom to express themselves? I simply inquire where it stops.

    Amazon, which owns Twitch, has their own music service. IIRC there is also an extension that allows Amazon Prime Members to share their currently playing Amazon Music lists with other Amazon Prime members. What would the feasibility of allowing Amazon Music Prime members to share their currently playing lists with everyone like the Watch Parties?

17. More help with hate and harassment

    A lot of my reports are a big deal because the same 3 people keep harassing and telling terrible things to a child that is in my stream. And they go about there way to follow said child to streams to harass. What will be done so this doesn't happen in the future.

18. Sharing your religious beliefs with other people in games or on Twitch.

    I currently share the Gospel message on twitch through gaming in Fortnite. I've been banned TWICE for "harrasment" If I have concent from the other party to talk about the Bible or my religion, why is it considered "harrassment". Also, how do you plan on addressing the persecution Christians face on your platform, for holding a belief that is contrary to the LGBTQ community.

19. Change the smoking/vaping rules.

    For quite a while now, I have seen too many people smoking/vaping publicly on Twitch.
    I have to keep adding them to the "Not interested section as it's REALLY uncomfortable. I have a friend who smokes, but whenever my friend does, he ALWAYS turns of his camera.
    People who watch those streams could end up smoking/vaping too from following the streamers footsteps. I mean, children at the age of 13 could be watching them and get the wrong ideas. Please change it so it is more balanced and safer.

20. Separate Audio Channels w/ Integrated Music Streaming Services

    Separate in-game audio, streamer voice, and music into different audio channels. Viewers that link their music service (as long as they have an active subscription) of choice to their Twitch account can have access to listen to the streamer's music audio channel. Those without a verified link to a music streaming service they subscribe to would be limited to only in-game audio, streamer voice, and copyright free music. You could use it to promote Amazon Music, and also partner with other music streaming services.
