Hide Mature Content Warnings Please give us the option to hide all mature content warnings, age gating, and similar alerts. Their existence alone is insulting and disrespectful to me, but at least hiding it lets me forget about them.

Keep the Maturity Tag *AND* have Content Classification I think the new content classification feature is an incredibly useful tool to have. Allowing creators to specify their content and giving an audience the ability to know that a stream may have something that is not for them is great!
As a streamer who is SFW and doesn't have any content that would fall under these classifications, though, the loss of the maturity tag means that I am losing a valuable feature to keep my community safe.
Why I don't want children in my space despite being completely SFW:
It is a LOT of work to keep children safe…200 votes -
Better Content Classification Options (Poss Safety Issue) The New Content Classification drop down appeared today and the mature content has been removed. However, The categories need to be developed further and made clearer.
For example - In my stream I have always put the mature content warning on - not for any specific reason. Occassionally there is some light harmless inuendo as part of the banter (nothing really worse than someone mispeaking something that sounded a bit rude, or someone making a 'said the actress to the bishop' comment.)
According to the new options, this would mean I would have to label my stream as having 'Sexual…

Muchas gracias!1 vote -
I would like the Content label for Family Friendly/non-swearing commentary I see the new stream labels, but don't see one for those who don't swear on screen. we feel kinda left out in the label update.

A username AT user.twitch.tv email address for chat ban appeals and other stuff not meant for chatting public If you want to talk about reinstating chat rights to someone who thinks they've been wrongly chat banned, there should be some way to get a hold of this person, especially from more than 5 years ago.
So twitch streamers don't have to give out their private email addresses they should be given a public email address that ends in twitch.tv. , Maybe @user.twitch.TV to differentiate it from corporate people who write from twitch?
That way they could deal with administration of their twitch stream fairly and honestly without involving the chatting public.
This was based on my experiences over…

New "Profanity/Vulgarity" content classification rules are too vague and subjective The current content classification rules lists 6 words as example profanity, three as "extreme vulgar language" and three as "mild profanity". Two problems: 1) not every part of the world categorizes those six words the same (some consider "cnt" to be pretty mild, some consider "" to be extreme, for example), but 2) due to this subjectivity, any profanity not listed is automatically unclear as to which category it belongs under. If I call my friend a *****, is that extreme? Is "douchebag" mild? I obviously don't think making lists of what profanity is extreme or mild…

More age levels than just Mature and Ages. I couldn't tell if one stream in my personal experience long ago was supposed to be for young children and family audiences or if it was supposed to be for teen audiences.
I tried to be careful but I said one wrong thing, that would be considered rated T on a video game, and I got immediately thrown off and suspended from their twitch chat without giving a chance to explain or anything like that.
At the time there was no rule about the level of chat that was expected from the audience. Like for example you could request the…

Automated 'Mature-rated game' content classification labels should be possible to remove for fully family-friendly streams. With the new Content Classification system that has come into use today, replacing the mature content setting, there is one issue that I believe should be looked at.
Fully family friendly streams who are playing limited aspects of a game (such as an MMO) should be able to toggle off the automated label, as the interstitial shown to viewers will discourage viewers who would otherwise be watching said family friendly content.
For example, I stream the Elder Scrolls Online, which carries an ESRB rating purely for content in quests and dungeons. However, all I stream is housing tours, looking at…

Flashing lights label for Content Labels I think there should be a 'flashing lights' label on the new Content Classification label system.
It would be helpful for people with Epilepsy and light sensitivity.48 votes -
Imma let you finish, but... The writing is on the wall, and the fall of twitch is upon us. Kick out here poaching the best streamers for literal generations of wealth, while twitch still pinching pennies and handing out bowls of soup to their partners; a far cry from bags of money.
Since twitch has been steadily deteriorating in rules/moderation/layout&discoverability, if they were to pull the plug right now to stop the bleeding, they could donate a healthy sum of their remaining coffers and assets to the greatest charity humanity has ever created - the Jeff Bezos Space-travelling Cueball.
At least the creators migrating away…1 vote -
Report streamers for offensive content Some streamers, such as 39Daph, have really offensive stream titles … Other streamers, such as Amouranth or TheDanDangler, have really offensive stream content. But there doesn’t seem to be a way to report them for offensive content or titles. It is really strange that Twitch doesn’t have offensive content as a ‘reason’ for reporting streamers.

When Twitch mutes audio thinking it's a copyright issue but its NOT When Twitch mutes audio thinking it's a copyright issue, yet it' truly original music, it should NOT be hard to get the audio UNMUTED. This has happened before, where the bot erroneously thinks its copyrighted material, yet it is COMPLETELY MY OWN SOUND DESIGN and not samples, etc. It's BEYOND ANNOYING in that the VOD after does NOT unmute after, and I'm left with something unusable. FIX THIS PLEASE.

Give voices for unjust / unfair banning or suspension Considering the blacklist of users can be shared to other channels, it is highly possible that it can be misused and lead to unjust banning or suspension by the channels that are not related to users' past offence. This is discriminatory treatments for those users, and it is unjust. An example is suspension of users due to racial or sexual slurs, while the streamers are the one who say it first or goad the users to it.
And what if from the start those users were banned or suspended unfairly, and their past "violations" are still recorded in that list?…

Stolen identity I don't know, if I am right here. I am a new streamer on Twitch and someone was in the chat and took my number to request a call back. So I was called from 10 different numbers or more during the stream. Then I said, that I will stop here, because I can't work like this and someone commented: Defeated. It is all becaus people want to stop other people from streaming. How could that happen here? Do something against these idiots.

Improved batch reporting The batch reporting tool is a good start, but it's not very useful. Please add a select all option and enable us to select a single report reason and add details to report all users at once instead of having to select each and every user. It's extremely tedious and time consuming when trying to report dozens or even hundreds or thousands of bots.

Lighter Restrictions While it is great to restrict inappropriate and negative responses in chat, it would be nice to lighten some of the restrictions that force those that do have generally positive, constructive, and/or harmless responses to be deleted while timing a user out. The DM chat provides a failing alternative to this, forcing other methods to also result similarly to the above punishment, if not a more worse punishment. Fixing this issue can also provide a method that can also bring more content creators and viewers to Twitch.

Formal Complaints I would like to know how to make a formal complaint about the lack of responce from the reports system on your platform. I have been suffering abuse and harassment for a month from the same user and I have reported every time they have said or done something abusive or harassment, which has been at least 10 reports over the month and I have been given no responce and no action has been taken. I wish to make a formal complaint about this as the lack of responce is disgusting and the fact this streamer is still, a month…

Adding Distractive Driving to the list for reporting a stream. When reporting a stream, there is no specific choice for reporting a streamer who is interacting with chat while driving. Distractive Driving needs to be added to the list, so it's clear.

Help ordinary users by allowing us to access channel history data, for example its ban history, that we can access before subscribing. Sometimes Twitch might recommend a channel, and we go there, dedicate much effort to good participation in it, support the streamer by using the Amazon link, then for no apparent reason, suddenly we have a notice that our account is permanently banned. This could ruin almost one month of a subscription, perhaps even more.
If ordinary users have a little power too, to access a channel's ban rate for example, then we might know to be wary about dedicating ourselves as much to the channel, and perhaps not even to subscribe to that particular channel.
