Threads for official Twitch accounts I notice that Twitch and Twitch Rivals do not have Threads. (Twitch does but it is sorely underused)
You could post exactly what is posted on Twitter (x) and/or even just check a box on Instagram that it will automatically repost Instagram posts to Threads.

Yearly contracts Honesly im sick and tired of the big names (asmondgold, hassan,pokimane,ect...).Its always the same thing, same drama, same issue. Twitch need to implement a yearly performance based contract for each streamer. These need to be reviewed every year with a chance of extension or reset(can also be done by reviews of viewers). Give the little man a chance and let the big streamer to rest. They already had there 15min of fame and multiple ****-ups. Full reset new faces new chances!

Please add a setting that prevents unregistered guests from searching for or watching streams to protect streamers from persistent trolls. Trolls who have been blocked or suspended often log out, search for the streamer, and reappear on the stream page. There, they repeatedly engage in stalking and disruptive behavior within the game. This system is designed to prevent such behavior.
We would also like to see a feature added that prevents accounts created within the past 1, 3, 6, or 12 months from accessing chat or watching streams, and hides them from search results.
Just knowing that a creepy stalker is watching makes it impossible to enjoy streaming, so we would greatly appreciate this feature.

Blocking needs to be bidirectional. Blocking should be bidirectional. The person blocked should NOT be able to know that the person who blocked them is present in chat AT ALL.

Anonymous follow option Anonymous follow button.
I feel it would be great, as a streamer to have an anonymous follower button along with the normal follower button (or make the current follow button a drop down option to have an announced follow or anonymous follow). This would be great so the streamer can say thank you to the follower or allow the viewer to follow anonymously as they may not want the "attention" of being called out for following and continue to lurk without the pressure of having to reply etc.

Loss of Chat Overlay on VODs (Android/Smart TV) The Issue: Recent updates to the Twitch TV app (Fire TV, Android/Google TV, Consoles) have removed Chat Replay from VODs.
Why this matters: > 1. Loss of Context: A Twitch VOD is a communal archive. Without the chat, 50% of the context of the stream is gone.
2. Lean-Back Experience: I watch on my TV specifically so I don't have to hold a device. Forcing me to use my phone to see the "vibes" of a past stream is inconvenient and counter-intuitive.

Those that are perma banned, should stay that way unless they have a legit reason to appeal. Streamer Nina Lin has streamed herself stealing from target. she then showed her "receipt" from that target store run. the alleged video showed her stealing a "Good & Gather Chuck Tender Steak along with another steak." her receipt showed she paid for Ground beef (aka GG Beef). she never paid for those two steaks totaling OVER $70 dollars. Some folks get banned for Less than this, and she's still able to come back and stream? You allowed her back to stream. You're basically low key saying "We condone shoplifting. it's not a big deal."

Delegate or partially delegate some safety reports to moderators One inherent problem for the Safety Team to solve is the constant tension between giving user reports the time and attention they deserve versus taking action to remove problems from the platform. The team obviously has limited resources to review reports. If they don't review and act on reports fast enough, the platform gets worse. But if they act too fast, they risk making mistakes. Prevent duplicate suspensions for the same violation, for the same facts I was recently indefinitely suspended for having an inappropriate username. The thing is, this is the 3rd time I've been indefinitely suspended for the same username, and twitch has twice reinstated the account (in both cases calling the original suspension a "mistake"). And now it's happened a 3rd time. This seems like something that should not occur. That is, if:
- The user has been suspended for some set of facts, such as a given username, and a policy these facts violate
- Twitch staff reviews the suspension (possibly due to a user appeal)

Use other tools for verification checks instead of the known bad actor of Persona Persona should not be used at all for Twitch verification of any sort. Not even in single digits. They have a demonstrated lack of care for user ID information and have business associations with companies that endanger user safety.
