  1. Start punishing streamers who use very loud sounds (aka rip headphone users) on purpose.

Some streamers have loud sounds in the command list, either through bots like Streamelements, Nightbot and the like or through channel points.
This directly hurts those who have hypersensitive hearing problems or people with autism, who have a different interaction with sounds.

There is no reason, cause or circumstance in which these sounds are used for anything positive, they are simply and purposely loud to hurt the ears of the listener.
In addition to being a tremendous lack of respect, it is still something that directly…

  2. The Account Enforcements page states, "For the most serious offenses, we will immediately and indefinitely suspend your account with no opportunity to appeal." Yet, some users get suspended from Twitch seemingly indefinitely but somehow get their suspensions lifted. Such users need to be kept off Twitch for good, especially if they've been suspended multiple times in a short time frame.

For example, a user named DomDude64 has been suspended twice from Twitch within less than a month (9/25/2021 and 10/19/2021), but according to witness testimony, both times were supposedly permanent, and yet he successfully appeal both suspensions. His record of…

  3. Please add a way to contest a system forbidden word in some languages.

Example : In french, the title "ça va péter !" (which means "it's gonna explode !") is not compliant I don't understand why. I would like to be able to inform Twitch that there is no problem with these words.

Funny : I tried to change to other things, but even "Peter" does not pass. Is Peter a forbidden word in some countries ? Are Peter Pan, Peter Falk and Peter Jackson banned from Twitch ? And this is just an example, there are many other words…

  4. YouTube has a great system for disputing false copyright claims and for claiming your own coptyrighted material that is not so involved that each dispute takes 30 minutes to complete and send. I play public domain classical music which is being falsely claimed and on YouTube all I have to do is dispute send and my work doesn’t get muted. I also own the copyrights and publishing to 140 songs which are flagged and I have to dispute and claun each one Eve time I play my own music. Help

  5. i went through my video manager and alot of my audio was muted. When i went to go appeal it they were all at 6 min in and for songs that I've never heard of or used. I use a music site that is strictly no dcma, and puts the song and artist in the chat. Maybe instead of making us go through and make sure we didnt use the audio, you guys could check before muting us?

  6. Is there a better way to filter or make sure that if I have my channel in Mature Audience only, that it is understood? Like can we have a little rating setting we can place or have it be better defined in the Topic/Category settings for streams? As well as if there is a way we can make sure it keeps the chat/audience of age?

  7. Greeting:

Please help restrict IRL streamer in Taiwan during serious Covid-19 epidemic.

Currently Taiwan suffers very serious Covid-19 epidemic, which causes daily new case of 80000~100000, and about 50 death.

Our government didn't restrict any outside activity, which lead people still walking and eating outside, include IRL streamer.

Please help restrict IRL streamer, because their behavior might potentially encourage people stay outside and most important, their might spread virus.

Please consider this suggestion seriously, thanks.

  8. Twitch mutes our VODs, then takes an extremely long time to clear them, yet doesn't clear ALL of that streamer's VODs using the same song. That's problematic for those of us who have purchased a license to use songs yet keep getting muted for the same songs over and over again.

  9. Allow us to stream music in the background of our twitch streams. Creators on PC can have music playing yet when I try to on my ps4, I’m not allowed to! Surely it would make sense to allow us to as well, as it could improve some viewer experiences and create a better vibe and idea of what our channel is like for those who watch our streams.

  11. I think it is time to deny API access to all unverified bots/extensions. Malicious users are creating bots that are using the API to target streamers when they go live by hate raiding, follow botting, and now spamming other channels with malicious stream advertising messages in an attempt to get their targets banned.

All of this goes away by requiring bots and extensions seeking to be added to the platform go through a review process.

If Twitch doesn't have the resources to properly staff such an effort, crowdsource the review process.

Something must be done, doing nothing is no longer…

  12. YouTube has an Audio Library for its creators. I have not found any such thing on Twitch, and I think it would greatly help creators. Instead of just muting their content, maybe have a link and a statement that says something like "we have content here that you can use instead..."

  13. One of my recent streams was muted due to "Copy written music" I have been using this same music for over a year now as it is royalty-free music. The song It was referencing was uploaded on Jan 1st of 2022. When I've been using it since 2020. They should confirm the upload dates of the song supposedly being copy-written and confirm those songs are not themselves stolen.

  14. In case I send a report not all, just like half of them were checked (I get sometimes no Emails regarding my report). And in this Email you send me about my report would be nice, if you add the reported account name + my report data (why I did reported, and my report text).

Also in case you are done with my report, send back me please a detailed Email from EVERY report! What account were checked, what was my report, what is your decision, and why you decided like this! If you want a detailed information why I…

  15. Many ideas have been discussed here about adding 2FA as a next level security for accounts to verify they're legit and not just a spam bot account and chat. (See: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/933812-safety/suggestions/41306257-adding-2fa-to-chat-as-optional-filter)

What I propose here that is different those ideas is adding a CAPTCHA solver puzzle for people who want to follow a channel. And I'm not talking about those silly Text Based CAPTCHA solver puzzles that are distorted with upper and lower case characters and other things, but an image based CAPTCHA solver puzzle.

    1. New followers will have to solve a CAPTCHA, a One-time Only process before the…

  17. Twitch really needs to get better at responding to emails. My other account got suspended for being "a minor" I sent in an appeal and gave them my information and they said they updated my account but my account is still suspended. I've sent another email over 2 weeks ago and still no reply.

Twitch needs live support or just a better email system. Ignoring emails isn't helpful. It surprises me that a company as big as Twitch doesn't have live support and it can take 5+ days for them to respond to an email. There should be live chat…

  20. "Whoops. Something went wrong," is about the most confusing and least helpful error message that you could provide for twitch users when their clips fail due to copyright music.

How about, "This clip failed due to copyright music?"
