  1. How about reward loyal subscribers who stay subscribed on streaks with a free random (or user can chose) emote from the tier above, each month they stay subscribed with a tier 1 subscription and its a streak above say 6 months they unlock 1 randomly selected (or user can chose) emote from tier above, until they unlock them all after that, if they are still (maybe for x months more) subscribed move up to tier 3 emotes and repeat again. This way it rewards those viewers who support channels over the long term, and better then just a sub badge…

  2. If there was a way for the affiliate/partner streamers to get a custom link (like the amazon affiliate program,) and for each user sign up you get a one-time (slightly higher than a regular sub) bonus, and a small monthly resub bonus. I think users would go for it, but only if you get the emotes set up for TURBO users.

The one thing that prevents all the heavy twitch viewers that I know in MST3K, RIFFTRAX and other small 24/7 channels is the lack of channel emotes.

I think adding an additional TURBO emotes section so that Streamers can…

  4. I am a livestreamer and am asking for another catagory be added in Twitch. And that would be called "Trucking Worldwide" their are many livestreamers in various categories but those are not in the same category. For example just chatting to me that is sitting on a desk or by a table and just have a discussion about one topic or etc. World travel is seeing the world by visiting a country. outta every livestreamer doing Real Life Trucking we need our own Category. Granted ATS is a good learning experience but many learn more if we have our own…

  5. We should get Sub Tokens for Turbo Users.

Keep Turbo an Ad Free experience but give us a way to have Sub Tokens every month we renew Turbo, that way we can use our Sub Tokens like Prime to support streamers and we get the benefits of a sub in the streamer's chat (also make Tokens giftable, that way you incentivize the use of Turbo over Prime)

We could even have Turbo Tiers that change the number of Tokens and benefits we receive.

  6. If Twitch has troubles to be profitable, why not make a subscription to let Streamers make content in high quality (like 1080p 60fps 6000kbps~8000kbps or more) or Viewers watch high quality streams ?

And the free limit would stays around like 720p 60fps or 1080 30fps with 4000~5000kbps, for example.

On mobile in particular, I think its worth due to the screen size, the diff will not be that annoying, and in bonus it will be less energivorous.

In hope to see less "features" that beg money depending on the generosity of people, more revenues for streamers or even less…

  8. I don't like ads and I don't really like serving ads to my viewers.
But Twitch as a platform needs to make money and logically cannot exist without such a revenue stream.

But what if I could pay to covers the cost, at least partially or up to a certain amount of viewers?
I find that Twitch Turbo is rather well poised already for this, at least price wise, sitting at about the same price point of 4 separate tier 1 subscriptions.

The idea is, that as a streamer, having Twitch Turbo would mean that the streams they do would…

  11. Please Twitch, explain why Turbo will cost $11.99 in USD and £11.99 in GBP. I live in the UK and so, according to current market rates, that means I'll pay 23% more for Turbo than someone in the US. That can't be right. Did you math wrong or something?

If I consider the old price of Turbo as well, then overall, this is a 64% price increase without any improvements being offered once the new rate takes effect. Could I perhaps get 100 days of VOD storage to go with that price hike, hmm?

  12. Create a category where streamers can give a small group of people (...maybe the amount is related on how big is the channel?) full sub benefits without actually subbing, like emotes and not seeing ads (or seeing less ads). This will benefit creators who receive support from other ways, like if someone already supports a streamer on a high patreon tier, they can get the streamer's twitch emotes without needing to sub !

Will also greatly support smaller streams since emotes are a way to advertise a channel and will allow friends (and by friends i mean mods and artists…

  13. Sub only on Archive / Clip

Hello, I have a problem that I cannot resolve.

When I apply the choice - archive reserved for subscribers - in the monetization/subscriptions tab my subscribed viewers are unable to make a clip on the archived videos.
I tried the following two ways

1-without the selection the "clip onlysub" choice

2 -selection of the clip onlysub choice.

In both cases if the option - archive onlysub - is activated, no viewers sub can make a clip on an archived video.

    Is there a solution?

    Thank you

  14. Make Twitch Turbo affordable to lower income countries.
I'd love to pay, but at this moment, the price is way to high for me.
Can't we handle similar to Amazon Prime the price of Twitch Turbo?

  15. I'm not always on the site or app when I'm gifted a subscription, so it would be nice to receive a push notification to my mobile device in addition to the site notification. That way, I can jump into the stream to thank the person who gifted me and hang out with the community. This option could be toggled on/off for those who want or don't want a mobile push notification.

  17. It is horrendous that you have decided to not include gift subs in Subtember this year. That was the driving force behind the success for creators (and therefore Twitch) in prior years.

Please reconsider this immediately and stop pulling revenue-driving opportunities from your creators and those who pay for the platform to exist.

  18. One of my viewers made a suggestion offline about being able to subscribe to a channel in a "silent" manner. Specifically, they mentioned people with varying kinds of anxiety that would get in the way of someone subscribing if there was a chance they could be "called out" by the streamer for subscribing.

I thought this was an important thing, as having training in mental health I know how beneficial even twitch social interaction is for someone with such conditions, and also it would allow someone to be able to be more supportive of their favorite streamers.

    So, maybe a…

  19. I have an idea about the old broadcasts. If the user is a subscriber, he will have access to the older broadcast immediately after the live broadcast. If the user is not a subscriber to the channel, he will have access to the recording, for example, a week later or one day. It could be turned off and on in the settings. It seems to me an interesting way to make old records more unique and it would certainly be very interesting.

  20. This is VERY frustrating. The stupid bright yellow banner "Celebreate SUBtember" is appearing on EVERY STREAM I visit in my browser and has been for days (of not longer). I already opened a ticket (under an unrelated category, discussed below) with the help team and they blew me off and said to post here. This is ridiculous, especially given another person reported this and was directed to talk to the help team. I formally request a manager investigate this issue and also find out why it's not being addressed/fixed.

Note my initial report ticket was: [ ref:00D1UDqTT.5006e22lVEL:ref ]

More Info Needed  ·  Ana responded

    Hi,

The banner shows up on channels to remind users about the event. Once dismissed on that channel, it doesn't show again on that very same channel. With that being said, what would be your proposed suitable alternative? Thank you.
