Have a yearly subscription It would be nice if I could buy a Twitch Turbo sub for a year upfront. It would also be nice if you did a discount if we did that.
Some places do a yearly sub for things and they only charge for 10 months. But they get that upfront and the user gets to feel like they saved some money.

Allow streamer to disable anonymous gifting to SPECIFIC usernames Given how often I've seen anonymous gifted subs to specific usernames being used to harass, it would be nice if there were a toggle for disabling anon gifting to SPECIFIC names, while still allowing random gifting from anon.
This will retain the ability for viewers (who would rather not have their name show up) to still support the streamer, but would prevent the ability for harassers to anonymously gift to specific (generally offensive) names.
Giving streamers more options for fine-tuning their channel is always a good thing! :)

This is not just an idea, but the harsh reality... I'm a Twitch Streamer of 7+ years with 3500+ subscribers from Türkiye. I can't make a living anymore. Local sub pricing after all the cuts and taxes is just lunch money, and it is getting harder and harder month after month to have a viable income off of Twitch. Add Tier2 & Tier3 Community Gifted Subs into API Currently gifting any Tier 2 or Tier 3 subs doesn't show properly in the Activity feed because there is no API endpoint for these, only Tier1s
This will allow 3rd party alerts & Twitch Alerts to be based on a specific ammount of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Community Gifted subs.
If Twitch would rather only focus on TIer1s then get rid of Tier2 and Tier3 completely and move the added emotes unlocks to a Total Gifted Subs on channel status unlock along with the badges.

Stop calling Scams discount If you make a sub-discount (like currently the 35% off), dont let the streamer pay for it!
I know that the site needs money, but this isnt helping anyone!

Extend 35% Off 5 Gift Subs the 2nd Week of Every Month Hello Twitch. Thank you for running the June 2025 sale of 5 or more Gift Subs. With the chaos in the economy and changes in on-line viewing, this has really made a difference in my bottom line. Improve accountability/offer compensation for unexpected subscription renewals When a cancelled subscription turns into a renewed one, Twitch should show more interest in how/why it happened and figure out how to compensate that error, instead of ignoring it. Simply sending email stating "we do not give refunds" and "how to cancel a subscription" is like blaming the customers for an error that has happened despite following all of the steps for cancelling their subscriptions.
Suggestion: Investigate. Ask for information, such as email confirmation of cancelled subscription and renewal. For example, if the cancellation happened well before the end of the time period and the auto renew happened, then…

Fix the notification issue They should actually let you decide who you do and do not get notifications about. Yes, they have a page where you can flip a switch, but then they just turn it off whenever they feel like it. If it's supposed to be some feature there needs to be a way to opt out of it. As there isn't a way to opt out of them messing with my notifications it's clearly a bug they're pretending is a feature so they can pretend it doesn't need to be fixed. Streamer-Set Gifted Sub Discounts Marketing 101: Promos... Let Streamers Run Their Own Gifted Sub Discounts
Twitch should allow streamers to run an optional streamer-funded gifted sub discount...just like any small business running a promo to reward customers and drive support. This would be limited (e.g. once per 30 days) and fully covered by the streamer, not Twitch.
Why Twitch should do this:

Turbo needs to benefit streamers As of right now, i understand that Twitch does not do revenue sharing with streamers when people use Turbo. This seems to be incredibly anti-streamer. I don't come to Twitch to quietly stare at the interface or wander around my settings/account information. I'm here for streamers.
Keeping turbo as an anti-streamer feature that doesn't share revenue with streamers is a problem for me. I happily pay for YouTube Premium for my family because it supports the channels I watch and ad-blocking is a bonus feature. With Turbo, ad blocking is the feature and that hurts streamers in multiple ways.

When Twitch has a sale or discount promotion for gift subs, the revenue to the streamers should not be decreased I just saw that when Twitch runs a site-wide sale or discount on gift subs (excluding subtember) the revenue received by the streamer is also discounted. This seems like a bad business practice and unfair to your streamers. Streamers plan events and rely on revenue from increased sub amounts at the regular rate. Allowing individual streamers to opt-out of the sale is not an adequate solution. If Twitch is implementing a sale, it should come out of Twitch's cut.

Multiple moderation options for anonymous gift subs please! I'm sure a lot of us have experienced a gift sub from an anonymous gifter to a not so great account name. We currently have NO way to moderate this, which incentivizes repeat offenses.
I suggest implementing:
1) Being able to purge or delete the "Anonymous Gifted a sub to X" message in chat.
2) Toggle gift sub recipients names showing in chat (could be great for more lurker friendly communities too).
3) MODERATION OPTIONS, PLEASE! Let us not just purge but REPORT the anonymous gifter (bonus points for reporting the giftee account name easily too)

Ads on active subscriptions because auto-resub charge failed Currently, subscriptions that haven't been manually cancelled attempt to auto-renew approximately 6–10 days before the subscription expires.
This would be fine, except that when the payment method charge fails, even though there is still 6–10 days of subscription left, the sub becomes inactive and begins showing "change/fix your payment method to continue your sub" messages, while showing ads and losing access to subscriber bonuses like emotes for the channel.

Better Transparency of 'Fees' in Affiliate/Partner Payouts Twitch advertises a 50/50 revenue split for affiliates and partners - however, this is becoming increasingly untrue. The affiliate agreement outlines that certain costs or taxes are deducted before creators receive payouts, however these 'fees' are becoming more aggregious, whilst remaining perpetually unclear.
At present, a US viewer gifting 5 subs costs the viewer $29.95. As a UK streamer, I receive $10 of this support. Instead of the 50% promised ($14.98), $4 of this disappears to "Fees". These fees are described as 'certain costs' and 'taxes', however these are never specifically outlined or clearly broken down for the creator.

Turbo free with Gifted subs monthly If a person gifts a certain amount of subs each month, Turbo should be free for the user. Examples, 50 gifted subs per month is $100 for twitch, so you really need to still charge $11.99 to get no ads?

Fix "Upgrade Subscription" when gifted a sub from another viewer. ISSUE: When someone has gifted a sub to your Twitch account. You are unable to Upgrade sub to Tier 1, 2 or 3 by default.
You MUST go to Subscriptions page -> Disable Current Sub(Which deletes full time left on that gift) -> Resubscribe -> [Mandatory Tier 1 Sub] from that prompt. Then you are able to complete the action of Re-subbing at Tier 2, or 3 from the default Viewing page.
Solution: Cumulative time on Gift sub, with immediate upgrade to Tier 1/2/3 (End-user choice).
