  1. I really think Twitch needs to expand the sexually suggestive tags and safe for work tags. Specifically, I think this should apply to what content is recommended from the front page of Twitch for a user and in the advertisements.

I listen to my favorite streamers in public places, and I do not want to be suggested the NSFW streams for obvious reasons.

  2. The new Content Classification labels are lacking in nuance and provide more harm than good.

As opposed to a general "This stream is intended for mature audience and may include content inappropriate for general audiences" You've instead provided people with weapons to attack streamers with unless they flag their stream as inappropriate for everyone. It's already commonplace where minority streamers will get attacked with false reports of things like emotes being too sexual when they are clearly not.

Ultimately you're asking us all to trust that twitch moderation will act in the best interest of the community, something that is…

  3. When reporting a stream, there is no specific choice for reporting a streamer who is interacting with chat while driving. Distractive Driving needs to be added to the list, so it's clear.

  4. Hire proffessional coders to fix the botting issue. There should be a bot in everyones chat that can detect a hate raid or bot attack and stop it. Streamers shouldnt have to rely on sery_bot and commanderroot to feel safe especially when, alot of the time, unfortunaley those are not enough. Twitch itself needs to step up and do something about the serious bot problem on their website, not send their users automated messages when they try to report the problem.

  5. I was watching a stream of a Georgian streamer describing how members of his family had been killed by Russian Soliders during the Russian Georgian invasion 14 years ago. He was also talking about how he didn't like Russian people who supported the War in Ukraine. He was clearly upset by the murder of his family and a pro Russian person in chat reported him. He was then suspended for a breach of ToS. Is this really how twitch want to take sides and silence people who condemn war crimes? Disgusting that twitch want to censor people who are suffering…

  6. Some content creators might be taking the "raging" aspect of gaming a little too far.
It's one thing to be that guy that screams at his computer or is always angry or annoyed by whatever he is playing. To an extent that is tolerable.

But some cross that line into violence.

A lot of us have been there, the occasional slam the desk, or throw the remote. Who here doesnt remember the Summit1G punch the monitor event. But the one thing that should be enforced is that this beheaviour is not acceptable.

There are streamers who are smashing, breaking, literally…

  8. All Star Wars Music technically Falls under Fair use, so as long as it is being used for something Star Wars. Star Wars music shouldn't be getting flagged there's over 50-100 different Star Wars Video games...

Your rules are stupid, you aren't protecting anybody but the user themselves, it would have been easier for you to right a EULA, that explains that Twitch isn't responsible and that the video creator holds full accountability, instead of making this dumb system you guys made, where videos get muted, while playing games they were meant to be played in.....

  9. Protect viewers from being harassed after leaving a community.

There have been quite a few times, one I know of personally, where a streamer has asked their community to spy on a former community member and screenshot any conversation mentioning the streamer so the streamer could "control" the situation. The streamer then sent their community members into streams the former community member was a part of to spy on them and report back anything said. This is possibly still happening and the person who was being followed has appealed to Twitch, reporting the person involved, multiple times only for nothing…

  10. not allow unregulated casino content. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQoMSeoWbbk . this is a problem twitch is directly contributing to and likely aware of since they've been removing affiliate links to these unregulated casinos. There is a large group of influencers using twitch to stream unregulated casinos, encouraging many including those prone to gambling addiction to join them producing billions in annual income on the back of addiction.

  12. Hello Twitch and other readers

unfortunatly many bot-accounts are around and new one are creating at the moment. Some friends, other streamers are targeted with attacks with bot-accounts.

They have something to do from your side twitch, specially that some Bots have tools to get the IP from people who visit the Accountpage ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdyBV3Zoa0Y ) should be a signal for u to investigate fast as possible.

In the last few days/weeks i experience that hoss00312 are around i followed (and unfollowed) me with multiple accounts.
What do you suggest to do, when people experience something like that? I know…

  13. Could you have the ability to list the bots (Streamer approved bot list) that are allowed to be in that streamer's channel and then for all other bot account to be auto ban the moment they start watching.

As a mod I have been using https://twitchinsights.net/bots to check if accounts are bots and then banning any that show up as bots before they talk in chat. The Hoss bot is just creating so many account it disrupting many streams now.

Also could you have another setting to alow streams to chose to have any account that is watching more than…

  15. Streamers like (Admin Edit - don't call out people directly, please) are bringing the quality of TTV down, and fast. A lot of people share the same sentiment in thinking this kind of content doesn't belong on twitch.

I'm also calling for an age restriction on these like-minded streamers. No child should be able to access these streams from Twitches home page. You should also have to confirm your age on twitch so that no children are seeing this kind of content.

  16. Perhaps someone at Twitch HQ could use machine learning to identify partially exposed breasts from streamers. The are many streamers that do this for content, and it is not very pleasant to come across this when scrolling through the just chatting category.

Can this then be made into a Bot, so the streamer is "aware" of what is happening..

The machine learning component hopefully would not be very complex, but not sure how you would implement it on a larger scale (not aware of the resources you have available). Otherwise the low-tech approach would be a twitch staffer scroll through…

  17. I say you stop banning streamers because some random in their game said a slur that the twitch streamer was unable to stop them from saying.

  18. I had a stream of myself playing piano auto-muted due to an erroneous copyright issue. I was performing Mozart's Sonata in C Major and Mozart's Fantasia in D Minor, and the copyright conflict was for other artists' rightfully copyrighted performances, not for the piece in question that I was performing.

I'm betting that the auto-mute algorithm could be smart enough to know when somebody is performing a piece vs playing from a recording.

Until this is fixed, this feature will disproportionately affect musicians using Twitch to perform works that are in the public domain.
