  2. Those who make a purchase (e.g. bits, subscriptions, etc.) should be treated as phone-verified. I only use a VoIP phone number, so I can't phone verify. But I do have an Amazon Prime subscription, so I can get 1 free Twitch subscription every month. My payment information is on file, so if I end up being a creepy stalker guy, you can easily trace me through the credit card, right? That should be good enough to stave off trolls. Let me be treated as Stage 2 Verified (stage 1 only requires an email address) if I either have my payment…

  3. Just an idea that the person who is banned from a channel should be informed of who banned them from the channel (broadcaster or moderator of the channel) and the reason included (if a reason was given).

This shouldn't just be for the mods and broadcaster of the channel. This wouldn't be shown to those who aren't banned from the channel unless they're also banned from the same channel.

    "<User 1>, <User 2>, etc. are banned from <channel name> by <broadcaster/mod's name> because of <applicable reasons>"

This would help the person understand why they're banned and if it was an…

  4. Many streamers does timeout on mods as joke or redeem by channel points.

But is a hassle to have to put it back mod and editor on some of them.

Would be better to have an option to the mod/editor role to be not removed on timeout, and act like the vips who can be timmed out without losing the role.

  5. Channel-following bot attacks seem to be back again. It is quite upsetting when content creators are streaming wether talking with the chat or just playing while they tell viewers how they feel when all of a sudden a bunch of notifications with pretty weird names pop up.

Streamers and viewers know that it is quite difficult to control these attacks considering that they are done every day, at any time. Despite the fact that there are some tools that in one way or another allow us to remove these bots, many of us believe that it would be better to…

  6. If a user is banned from the streamer's chat they shouldn't allowed to lurk in the streamers stream because it's like stalking it's not cool for someone who is lurking someone's stream if they are banned.

  7. The Twitch Rule enforcement system needs to be updated. The hardline enforcement is incompatible with the "per-case" approach when it comes to users being reported on the platform.

I believe that the system in its current state makes it too easy for bad actors to abuse the reporting system and use it as a means to remove streamers for violations that didn't happen, and I also believe that it makes it harder for streamers to defend the violations (via appeals), as when a streamer is suspended/banned they cannot review their VODs to see if or even when a violation took…

  8. I recently came across a stream who appeared to have accidentally gone live. Their stream was broadcasting everything they were doing on their phone and revealing a lot of personal information. They were entering their phone number, passwords, and all sorts of sensitive information without understanding it was being streamed.

It is the stream of my viewers who appears to have difficulty with technology, and some of my mods were trying to reach out in discord or in their chat to get their attention. We all immediately reported, but there doesn't seem to be a category for this. 6+ hours…

  9. I keep being in friends streams and random people come in and ask them do show their feet or the back of their mouth and they refuse to do it (as they should do) and then they say they will be banned if they don't. They still refuse and then their account get suspended! This is WRONG! How can an account be suspended because they refuse to do a challenge or dare? It is not safe and not fair!!!!

  10. My suggestion: add a follower bot etc to our channel. have a quick action button in the publisher panel where, when fired, publishers can submit reports with a single click. Press this button from quick actions when the broadcaster is exposed to fake follower bots. With a single click, the twitch team will be notified. Twitch should delete those bots as soon as possible. No one should have any trouble with this. Because most people don't know what to do about it! I think it would be a very practical and beautiful solution.

  11. From what I have seen here on Twitch are that streamers among the Furry and LGBTQA+ communities are being punished over nothing and ruins their content. There is a humungous lack of support and equality coming from Twitch moderators as people go and report the named streaming communities emotes, vods, etc. Someone else had pointed out a streamer that is doing a "Just Chatting" and "Cooking" stream but is literally acting sexual towards their chat. Why aren't streamers like this reported, moderated, and removed from the Twitch platform? If they want to go make money by being sexual with their…

  12. A twitch user, let's call him "Racistguy1" shouldn't be able to just make a new account called "Racistguy2" and pick up his harassment where he left off.

Racist trolls are making racist names, then seek out streams to harass under the "African American" tag, probably other tags too I'd imagine, and then follow the channel, so their racist name pops up as a new follower.

The reason I'm making this post is Twitch needs to ban certain name combinations. For example, right now as I type this, there's a troll going around with the name "skittlesboytrayvonmartin" followed by random numbers.…

  13. Why won't you enable human authentication???????????

Such as, "Select all photos that are showing traffic lights..." etc...
Twitch bots are ruining your platform.
Honestly its not that hard to get rid of them. Your monitoring/authentication process is atrocious. It wouldn't surprise me if Twitch was supporting these botting sites and allowing BOTS for more ad revenue/publicity and numbers.
Embedded and fake views should not count.

It's not that hard to get a server, run some simple python commands that create accounts in the thousands. Then let them chat, and even mimic other user's input to make them seem authentic.

    Force…

  14. Can't recover a streamer's banned account due to multiple malicious reports?

At this time, Twitch Korea does not have operating rights. They are incompetent and poorly maintained, so you should contact the spanner directly.

Streamer's account being warned or banned for recent and persistent false reports.
Hate speech or excessive sexual words and behavior are sanctioned, but overseas servers do not properly review them.
There is no penalty for malicious users who falsely report for the purpose of bullying.

What I want to say is, restore the privileges of the streamers who have been suspended for this reason. Do you…

  15. Personally I do not like that we have to use the same reporting process to follow through with reporting a bot incident in one's own stream. There have been multiple cases of accounts being mistakenly banned on Twitch's end, this reporting process only encourages that to repeat itself.

I believe we should get a new bot reporting process that is separate from the regular reporting process as to avoid any complications that could result in unjust bans of streamers trying to help the whole community.

  16. Hello, I have been a Twitch user for the past 5ish years. I am genuinely curious how some streamers are allowed to go AFK just about every single day for hours on end and just farm their chat. I didn't come to specifically report any single person but Amouranth is the most popular person I know getting away with this. She starts streaming then eventually makes up an excuse to get off camera and doesn't return for literal hours. Doing this she still brings in easily over 6,000 viewers each time. I am genuinely curious how people like her are…

  17. The text that appears with DMCA audio is grammatically incorrect.

"Audio for portions of this video has been muted as it appears to contain copyrighted content owned or controlled by a third party."

The has should be have. 'Audio portions have'... NOT 'audio portions has'... Video is not the subject of the sentence. It's crazy this hasn't been fixed.

This has been irking me for years.

  18. Add a section to the twitch app/site where you can enter a title and the artist into said section, and it will tell you whether or not it is DMCA free. It would help the streamer a lot, going through streaming playlists with my friend who is beginning is difficult, why should we spend hours going through sites to see whether or not we can use it in her streams?

  19. Lately I've been watching a streamer who has been a prime target for multiple follow bot attacks.

I suspect it is one of their regular viewers, however there is no real premise to report specifically for suspecting someone of actually launching the follow bot attacks.

And there needs to be a section where any potential proof can be uploaded, such as images, videos, and chat logs.

If Twitch wants more extensive reports, then Twitch needs to provide us with the means to do so.

  20. I have seen for past week a lot off kids (under age users) who not even reached 13 years keep abusing ASMR category and stream there. Your usual report system isn't working, because i personally was asking streamer "How old is she and she said 11 y old!" is way to wrong because in next moment some weirdo started type like "I love u, *****, shorts, u are beautiful" and lots more. That's why you must do something to keep kids safe from SA on Twitch and make more difficult registration for kids on this platform. Hear me out! Kids…
