How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

  1. Platforms often allow more than one 2FA security key in the case that one gets lost (example Google). I can only add one security key to my Twitch account, but I'd like to add a second in the case that I lose it. As Yubico describes it, it's like having more than one house key just in case you lose your main one.

I wouldn't recommend having a maximum amount of security keys possible to add. I'd like to see a bare minimum of having two, preferably three if you need a maximum.

I'm currently starting out with linking two…

  2. the smart tv app should have an option to automatically join a stream that is about to go live.

at the moment all smart tv users can do after reading the discord message/tweet/whatever the only thing they can do is spam refresh (enter profile, then leave profile again) to find out IF the stream is live and after it has gone live only then can they join.

having a button, option or window that would automatically begin recieving the broadcast would be greatly apreciated.
bonus points if this would enable interaction with other early chatmembers.

    so please give me an…

  4. A huge problem many streamers struggle with is something called 'Mod Walls' where oftentimes, even if you have an active community, sometimes it happens to where just mods will be talking which de-incentivizes people from talking. It can unintentionally make for a space that feels uncomfortable, and thus is bad for Twitch, Advertisers, The Streamer, and for the Moderators and Community. I've seen so many Mods talk about how they feel they can't talk for this reason, from all different streamers communities, including my own. It puts Moderators into positions of feeling a need to exclude themselves at best.

    Why…

  5. On January 24th, 2025, a Twitch user intentionally shared (streamed live) private messages I had sent them, which included deeply personal details about my struggles with suicidal thoughts. They mocked me for seeking help, used my online/Twitch name, and publicly laughed at my situation. They disclosed sensitive information without my consent—information that had the potential to harm both my reputation and the work I do online.

I asked this individual to take down the VOD that contained this recording, and he refused. Instead, he mocked me again and made threats on Twitter. I reported the VOD more than 30 times…

  6. I may be strange but, in the few places I'm a mod, I enjoy seeing what someones first chat of any stream is. Is it a wellspring? Are they being a doofus (affectionate)?

I think it would also help notice trends. Is someone always coming in with negativity and spouting off, do they repeatedly just bring things down? I just think it would be a fascinating tool to have and could be pretty useful.

  7. On Twitch Mobile, tapping the area just above the channel point rewards with the labels "[Channel name]'s Rewards and 1.2x Multiplier or the watch streak bar below the channel rewards that appear when spending channel points lets you tap through that menu and interact with whichever menu was behind it, such as opening a different stream on the home menu behind it. I was able to recreate the bug 3-4 times by doing this.

  10. Twitch, please create a separate category for GTA Online or alternatively one for GTA RP. It is very inconvenient to find GTA Online players among all the RP players. There are many RP players who do not specify their RP server in the title.

  11. Hello all on twitch,

I was recently banned from by the streamer’s moderators on here on twitch, I have had no warning or anything from them, just a ban and I have appealed it but have yet to have heard from this streamer’s moderators. I do not want this streamer to face the consequences of her own moderators, she has done nothing wrong. I feel as though I was targeted by those moderators for no reason whatsoever, I have always been very respectful and followed the rules in her lives. The user i am speaking on is no other than…

  12. Recently, Twitch has added the words Trans, Gay and Lesbian to the list of auto-mod words.

These should be removed from the default auto moderation tools, as the words in and of themself are not inherently offensive.

  13. "3. Privacy Notice", in terms of service has misspelling in link to Privacy Choices.
Is missing an "i" in twitch, I think.
It leads to a unused page which could be a bad thing?

  17. It would be good to have a general reporting tool to bring attention to activities. Currently a streamer is being bombarded with harassment via anon gifted subs which don't have moderated names.

It's possible to report the names but that doesn't change that its still happening. Having a report tool that isn't tied to a specific user would be useful, especially when it's done through anon.

  18. I've been using Twitch for a long time, and I'm really fed up with these issues. Why does the platform allow Russian-speaking streamers to freely insert any kind of advertisement they want—even if it means 3–4 ad widgets promoting betting and gambling sites? What annoys me even more is that Twitch doesn’t make a single penny from all of this; the ads are entirely inserted by the streamers, and the platform seems to be saying, "Do whatever you want, as long as the stream goes on."

It’s simply absurd to treat both the content and the viewers this way. When…

  19. So the terms of service explicitely prohibits breaking the law, but when trying to report a clip in which the streamer is breaking the law, no such category exists. How come?

  20. Shadowban and viewer count errors are a big sign of hacking and work being stolen by other streamers you can also tell your page has been hacked by the support tickets you send in with extra lines like please do not remove in the subject line when asking to remove a shadowban you can also tell your page is hacked with the inability to add your phone number for verification twitch is assisting criminal streamers to steal streamers work and try to use it as their own and its just leading to one big organized hacking and stolen work organized…
