A huge problem many streamers struggle with is something called 'Mod Walls' where oftentimes, even if you have an active community, sometimes it happens to where just mods will be talking which de-incentivizes people from talking. It can unintentionally make for a space that feels uncomfortable, and thus is bad for Twitch, Advertisers, The Streamer, and for the Moderators and Community. I've seen so many Mods talk about how they feel they can't talk for this reason, from all different streamers communities, including my own. It puts Moderators into positions of feeling a need to exclude themselves at best.

Why can't we disable badges JUST for the Moderators name in chat? So if you click on the user, and see their profile you'll still see a mod indicator there, but they are set to incognito and thus in chat don't have an easily recognizable Mod Badge, allowing creators to create a more welcoming atmosphere

I think Streamers should be given a Toggle Option where when DISABLED, only the Streamer can put specific Moderators in Incognito, and while ENABLED, It gives their Moderators the ability to go Incognito, or not of their own accord as well. This option would give more fluidity at any given moment, where some circumstances a badge in chat might help, while in others maybe incognito is better

This could help create a SAFE environment for Twitch, Advertisers, Viewers, Streamers, but also a comfortable and welcoming environment that elicits growth, and thus more stability for the CREATOR and for TWITCH

If it hasn't become a feature due to fear of abuse, there are many ways to avoid this. Just off the top of my head, only allow it if you have more then 'X' amount of mods? Maybe only allow it for Affiliates, or people above 'X' CCV? Have it so you can only incognito Half, or a third of your mods? Theres all kinds of ways to accommodate any sort of system abuse that could come of it, and I'm sure theres plenty of more ideas atop of what I came up with off the top of my head

There isn't any reason NOT to have this as far as I can tell. If you believe in this Idea PLEASE support it!
