Remove categories As an epileptic, the DJ streams... just really are not for me. Yet I can't seem to log in without one being suggested front and center from the main page.
You need a DO NOT RECOMMEND option for category types. I don't think it's an extreme request to not have a seizure when I'm just tryin to watch some games

Require all Twitchcon partners to provide drink covers at events After the events that have been described at the Blerp VIP event, Twitch should take their safety further and demand partners or anyone with a booth on the convention floor that hosts a party offsite should be REQUIRED to provide drink covers.
It is a simple solution to a problem that happens almost every single year Twitchcon takes place. This will help and support creators who may feel a bit safer knowing measures have been taken to protect them.

REPORT BOTS Dear Twitch,

Watch time I think that instead of yearly twitch watching recaps we should be able to have them anytime. For example have a personalized watchtime when you click on a streamer your following/subed to.

Allow Viewers to Choose Whether They Listen to the Live Track or VOD Track on Livestreams Most streamers who utilize the VOD track do so for music. This would allow viewers to choose whether or not they listen to the streamer's music or not.

Change automod's gender based discrimination filter to actually work for both genders Currently Automod is very happy to flag up phrases such as "kill all women". Which without context is very reasonable and fair, inciting violence against a group of people based on gender is very fair and reasonable.
Why is it that, in the same level of moderation, phrases like "Lets kill every single man", "kill all men", "all men should be put in a blender" all get let through without any checks whatsoever? They are both, without context, incitement to commit violence against a group of people based on gender, therefore should be filtered out the same.

Accountability For the viewers Give content creators the ability to see user names of all users viewing live streams! I don't have a lot of viewer but I do get a lot of harassment, and it is connected to the viewers in my community! Why should viewers get complete anonymity and content creators are completely vulnerable? Seems more safe if it's equal that way there is accountability. They get an inside look into our lives and we can't even see their username unless they type in chat, unless I'm missing something then please do enlighten me!

Solution for bot attacks After suffering from bot attacks for 3 months, I ended up having two ideas that could solve everyone's problem regarding bots.
One of them would be to create a "Follow Lock" system that consists of not leaving accounts that were created in X time (Decided by the Streamer/Mod) cannot follow the channel since most Bot Follows are around the same Day and Month.
And the other way would be a system that when the person gives the Follow they would have to go through manual approval done by the Streamer/Mod so they can simply accept who can or cannot follow…

Doxxing Needs to Be Handled Differently As of January 17th of 2025, I had been doxxed live on my stream, the user having mu street address as their username, then saying the following: "Hello [full legal name] of [my full legal address, including state and zip] whos phone number is [my phone number]." Before my moderator and I were able to ban and block this user, they followed me so my street address would stay on the screen.

Sexual themes Drawn Children Nudity issue. Sexual Themes new classification child nudity.
Due to the recent content policy update - sexual themed artists are now drying children/lolis naked on Twitch. Absolutely get RID of this. As well as give us the option to block ALL channels using the Sexual Themes tag - I do not want to see a big dog or dragon genitalia on Twitch - that is not why I'm using the platform, I do not want to see nudity - that is not why I'm using the platform.
I cannot imagine how this went over your heads before releasing this content policy update…

Safer whispers It makes no sense that turning off whispers from “strangers” still lets in people that we don’t choose, such as followers or subscribers. Just because someone follows me doesn’t mean I want them to be able to whisper me, and giving us the option to choose what counts as a stranger (for instance setting it two only those I follow can whisper me) would go a long way to both cutting down on spam message, and making whispers a useful tool instead of yet another avenue for harassment.

Let us report "movie watching" streams. I have seen multiple streamers in the past few weeks streaming literal full length movies live on their Twitch stream. They will do this in categories like Just Chatting, or sometimes no category at all to try and be more secretive about frankly breaking TOS and copyright infringement. Sometimes they label it as a "film class" like they're "studying" it rather than watching, but that doesn't change that they're still watching a movie.
I have tried reporting such streams under the "Miscategorized Content" option, or searching for the "IP Violation" option. While I do get a "We've received your report"…

Improvement for discord ban information sharing So there are partner discord servers available depending on the regions.
I think it could be interesting to be able to share with other creators the people we have banned whether on twitch or discord by going directly through the server.
