Show Whether A Video Has Been Downloaded Can a feature be added to our videos - clips, highlights, past broadcasts - displaying whether or not we have downloaded that video? This would make it very easy to tell whether a video hasn't been downloaded yet and would be useful for anyone using clips or video to post elsewhere.

Love this concept. I have merged in another idea that was specifically asking for visible markers for exported VODs, but I think overall your idea encompasses this. Just letting everyone know.

Options to disable autoplay/automute When I click on a clip, it opens, immediately starts playing, but starts muted. This really makes no sense; I always end up having to restart the clip after unmuting it to catch the start of the clip and it's annoying. I either want it to autoplay unmuted, or to not autoplay at all (but still not default to mute). Best solution would be to give users the options "what do you want to happen when you open a clip? Start muted? Y/N Autoplay? Y/N"

Stay on current stream when a raid is initiated while viewer has the player paused When ever I have paused a stream, and left the tab open. It has every single time been irritating when i am raided into a new channel. Sometimes i am on mobile and use up all my mobile data without knowing, sometimes I pause a stream and leave the PC before i go to bed, and then wake up because i've been raided into some stream. Or im inside a game and i don't know where the sound is coming from and have to go through my 20-30 some tabs in the middle of a game.

90 Day Clip Sorting Option Sick idea for you Twitch. Could we get a "90 Day" selection when looking at clips. I would love to be able to see recent clips from the past few months instead of having to scroll through "All" of my clips from years back to find recent ones.
This would help creators find their recent content to use other places like in Discord, Twitter, or even making a video for a recruitment challenge a big team is having. Just a thought and I think a lot of creators including myself would love having this option to help them.

Webplayer aspect ratio - 21:9 and 32:9 It would be nice if the webplayer would adapt to streams other than 16: 9 aspect ratio. As I stream in a 21: 9 aspect ratio, I have black stripes that look bad and are unnecessary

Collections longer than 100 videos It is possible to add more than 100 videos to a Collection, which is good. However, it is NOT possible to view videos past the 100th video in your Collections manager. Also, if you are watching the Collection, the videos stop playing upon finishing the 100th. The only location you can view past the 100th video is in your Videos tab on your channel.

Autoplay Bug I am posting this to "Bugs", but it also fits into the "Accessibility" category.
There is a bug where every page of a given streamer's channel automatically autoplays mostly unrelated videos at what is usually maximum volume. Random channels will play behind/ above the UI on the page for selecting previous VODs. It will autoplay, even if I previously had the tab open and already muted and paused the video at the top. It will autoplay if I am scrolled all the way to the bottom of a streamer's archive, so that I have to scroll all the way back…

Highlight editor creating stitched together videos that have messed up keyframes. This is really bad! I can't edit this without spending forever trying to edit out all the corrupted parts of my videos every other cut. I know that you all don't have the bandwidth to re-encode every highlight that is edited but at least have it time the keyframes better. It makes vlc explode and not even mkv can play some of these files right...

Allow us to upload thumbnails specifically for "Collections" Twitch, so far I'm loving the overall experience, and I think you guys do a tremendous job of listening to your community and incorporating said community feedback.
That said, there is one aspect of Twitch that bothers me right now.
I'm a gamer, and play a variety of games, namely first-person-shooters and open-world games. I like to organize all my game uploads into collections by game title. It would be nice if I could upload thumbnails featuring the game art for each collection.
Can we please get thumbnail support for collections, allowing us to add some personality to our collections?…

Clips under the VOD So instead of showing clips to the user that captured it why not list all the clips of a particular stream under its VOD. List them in terms of their popularity and chronologically. So people can skip duplicates.
Maybe even add markers on the VOD player to depict where a lot of popular clips were captured. Kinda like the comment markers of soundcloud's player.
Also having an API to get the list of all the clips of a a particular VOD with its view numbers, offset relative to the VOD etc. would be great.

Clip Playback Speed Restore the playback speed function when clipping; this made it easier to clip without losing the live stream.

Clip Editing - Add More Before/After Video to Timeline When editing a Clip, currently the timeline is limited to the original Clip duration. Fine for trimming off dead space at the start/end, but often a viewer will 'miss' the start or end of an event, or only uses the default 30 seconds instead of the possible 60 second clip length.
Please include more video before and after the original Clip in the Clip Edit timeline; 60-120 seconds before AND after would be preferable, to allow getting stuff that was cut off included in either direction, without the streamer needing to go back and create a completely new Clip, which…

Navigation bar doesn't go away when watching streams The navigation bar is always visible, hiding the top content in both full screen and theater mode. Horrible experience, especially in games like DOTA since it hides the important information like the score.

Remove the top bar in Full screen mode When watching a stream in full screen mode, there is a bar at the top of the screen that covers the top of the stream.
This results in a much worse use experience. If you do not want to remove it, at lease add an option to hide it.

100 Hour Highlight Change! Please! (Don't delete old content, just limit new content being added to 100 hours! Please <3) Can you please not delete any old Highlights for the 100 hour limit and just make it so there's a limit of 100 hours for new content being stored after April, 19th 2025? I really dislike that you are forcefully deleting content just because of the hours stored. Please keep all of that content for everybody! <3 and maybe moving forward after April 19th maybe can you can limit new content being stored up to 100 hours? Issue exporting VODs and Highlights longer than 12 hours to YouTube When you export VODs or highlights from Twitch to YouTube longer than 12 hours (even over by one second), YouTube abandons the processing of the video. On Twitch's YouTube export menu, it already accounts for non-verified YouTube channels that can only upload at most 15 minute with a setting to section out a whole VOD into 15 minute segments. The limit for every other YouTube channel can upload the maximum of 12 hours. With many Twitch VODs being longer than 12 hours, the export with fail.

Clips sometimes get stuck paused when editing. Eg: I click the clip button while watching a live or previous broadcast
I reach the clip editor. I leave the default clip length and click around the little yellow bar in the clip video itself. At some point I can no longer un-pause the clip and instead have to generate a NEW clip and start all over. If it helps I use "K" on the keyboard to pause/un-pause7 votes -
change default clip manager filter to "all" instead of "recommended" I think it would be more intuitive if the "Filter by" setting defaulted to "All" instead of "Recommended." For the purposes of moderating clipped content this would remove the hassle of always having to switch that drop-down to see all clips, and I believe it would help to avoid situations where users mistakenly think their clips are not being saved if they don't title/publish the clip.

Highlighter Bugs: timecode mismatches, inconsistency between Twitch and YouTube, lost audio I use the Highlighter to trim my VODs. Highlights are then added to themed Collections on Twitch, and are also exported to YouTube. Today is 1st October, and within the last week I have noticed a frustrating inconsistency between the Highlight video playback on Twitch and the version exported to YouTube. Highlights I’ve created before 19th September are not affected.
In summary.
A Highlight video is made with single or multiple segments based on the VOD timecodes. The authored Highlight video in the Twitch video player does not play the segments at the timecodes set in the editor, instead each…7 votes -
more stable clip making Hi!! when making clips on twitch, there's always seem to be this issue where the player will not load the slider bar for editing correctly, which entails refreshing the page over and over again till it finally gives the ability to edit and publish a clip. there's been instances where its taken 4 mins and 10+ refreshes to finally do one clip and so it kind of hinders clip gathering due to the frustration while also making way for excess duplicate clipping
