1. Zapping

   I hate ads. When I check out a new channel and am greeted by ads, I close twitch 90% of the time. How about something like a "Zapping" feature?

   How it would look like:
   - You go to the Zapping feature and choose a category/filters and/or starting channel
   - You get 30s of uninterrupted content
   - Either zap to the next channel (of the category/filters) within the 30s and get 30s of the next channel as well or
   - After 30s you are moved to the channel you were watching and the ad settings of that channel apply, either preroll or mid-stream ads after some time... or roll some ads if you want, whatever...

   Maybe this is better for discoverability? If I don't know if I like a channel, why would I bother with the preroll?

2. Get rid of prerolls entirely!

   Get rid of preroll advertisements as a whole. They absolutely destroy channel discovery for new/low viewer streamers and if you're the type of person that has a buggy internet connection, sometimes you get disconnected for just enough time for Twitch to interpret your reconnection as you rejoining for the first time again and hits you with even more advertisements you possibly saw not even four minutes ago.

   For real, prerolls do nothing for the viewer, the people that ALLOW TWITCH TO EXIST AS A WEBSITE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I'm not even saying get rid of ads in their entirety, just prerolls. They're nothing but a nuisance for everyone involved.

3. Too many Ads at once

   I was watching a livestream that was literally going to finish in 4-5 min, but instead, I had to endure a 30s ad, 10s ad, 15s ad, 15s ad, 15s ad, 15s ad, 30s ad, 15s ad, 20s ad, and finally a 15s ad. Yup, that's 10 ads in a row totaling 3 min of the end of a livestream!
   A lot is said and can be missed in a short span of 30s, let alone 3 min!!!
   Absolutely unacceptable!
   Yes, money has to be made. But at what detriment to the viewers experience?!

   SURPRISING the viewers with a sudden pop up block of ads makes the viewer
   annoyed and angry. And then blocking the stream on top of that for such a long period of time makes the viewer ABSOLUTELY p$$d off!!!
   At least if the streamer could choose when to show ads and say "I'll be back after these ads," it wouldn't feel SO obtrusive!!!

   My suggestion:
   give more control, with REASONABLE CONSTRAINTS, to either
   (1.) the user/ viewer (eg. Viewer can choose when to start the 2-3 min ad block during a live stream), or
   (2.) the streamer (eg. They choose when to start an ad block by clicking a button).

   A constraint could be:
   Must play a total of a 5min ad block within an hour stream (whether they choose to play the full 5 min at one time, or split it to two seperate 2.5 min ad blocks within each 30 min time span of their stream).

4. Export VODs on mobile

   As someone with a disability who has an easier time using my phone than a PC, it would be so beneficial if I could export my VODs on the mobile app instead of having to log in on a computer and struggle with the mouse and keyboard.

5. Be able to disable Ads for specific services

   I am an recovering gambling addict and I hate seeing Fanduel ads and the like on my streams, both as a streamer and a viewer. We should be able to disable certain categories of ads if they are triggering.

6. Stop using Ads altogether...

   You do realize that there are other ways to generate revenue from ad placement, versus your constant barrage of advert during livestreams? Of course you do... but those options don't have the same impact as the metrics derrived from CCV or PPC. Right? Wrong... There are a host of other options that could be used to allow viewers a recurring experience, versus a stagnated one, by implementing other techniques.

   I'm not going to suggest anything here becasue honestly, Twitch is on my ****-list for companies that are on auto-pilot and reeling from previous controversy. A company scraping by and holding itself together with duct-tape and dreams.

   Refute this as you may, your attrition rates have skyrocketed since your most recent layoffs and the quality of your product has diminished. I've even gone insofar as to apply to your organization and assist in recouping demographics of people that you've consistently marginalized as well, but hey... This is just about Ads right?

   The same Ads you claim you need to survive, increase visibility, or pander. The same ads you push on youth to make impulse buys or shill for companies that would have ditched you during your first SA allegation several years ago.

   You could do better, but you choose not to. Your upper echelons choose not to. Just another complacent company scratching thier head and oblivious to how to improve.

   Carry on.

   hey twitch , i understand you re a compagny and you try to make money although it s been multiple time now that i have 3min adds on some stream , can you realize what 3min is in a direct diffusion ? how much stuff i miss ? how left out from eveything i feel during those awfully long minutes ?? 30 secondes before seemed long but 3 *****

8. Disable preroll ads in event of stream crash or restart

   This should be self-explanatory.
   While I know pre-roll ads can be necessary, however they can be slightly annoying in the event of a streamer's stream crashing due to technical issues and needs to be restarted.
   Crashes happen, and our viewers shouldn't have to watch another set of pre-roll ads if we come back within 5-10 minutes after the crash.
   Sometimes these are technical issues beyond our control, other times it's just ending the stream just to fix ONE setting that takes less than a minute to fix.

   If the stream comes down for one reason or another, and the streamer returns within a timely manner, the preroll ads should be disabled for a certain amount of time.

   This should be self-explanatory.

9. Adblocker

   Twitch has done its best to fight “adblockers” but what if they made one of their own? What if when you subscribed to a channel for 12 months, you earned an adblocker token. This token would be redeemable for an amount of hours of ad free streaming. I have streams where I have been a subscriber for 3 plus years, but I can’t always justify buying a subscription. If every six months or 12 months I get real rewards for keeping a subscription going, and I don’t get entirely punished for taking months off, I’d feel more comfortable with my purchase. I have still spent like $100s of dollars yknow

13. why dont you have an ad targeting in turkey .

    I know in turkey you don't get a lot of ads from other companies but it doesn't mean you just push ads to irrevelant consumers . I am 26 years old currently I am getting a high school exam (Doping Hafıza )ad and it drives me crazy .Other issue I banned every knight online game streamer , I select knight online as not interested but still getting kabasakalonline knight online ad . Don't show irrevelant ads in turkey .

14. Allow Streamers To Disable Ads on Their Channel For All Viewers

    None of us want to show ads while using a site that monopolizes the concept of streaming. Allow us to control what is shown and disable them completely, for all viewers, if we choose.

15. Ability to share turbo between accounts

    Many people like to have multiple accounts for watching and viewing, however a twitch turbo subscription is only tied to 1 account. Prime gaming allows you to connect up to 4 accounts to 1 subscription so I believe turbo should have this ability as well. This is especially because many of us do not want to see ads when we are viewing streams and that is the main purpose of purchasing turbo. Additionally, it is only fair for this to be the case considering the price of turbo has increased substantially from what it used to be.

    I need a new Twitch turbo. The current Twitch turbo is expensive. So I want a new Twitch turbo for light users. you can pick at least three streamers. you can watch the streamers without ads. But of course, you can't use streamers' emojis.

17. Bring Widgets that Allow Personalized Revenue Sharing Below Video Player

    To minimize the ads presence that many creators take issue with, allow for a feasible revenue share for ads, and still maximize profitability for Twitch as a whole, I'm proposing the following:

    1. Bring back purchase options from Amazon directly below the video player. If I'm playing a game like Genshin Impact, Fortnite, The First Descendant, etc allow me to purchase in game currency at the bottom of screen with a revenue split going to the streamer, Twitch, and the parent company. Likewise offer a purchase option directly from Amazon with revenue sharing

    2. Allow for additional options to be added directly below stream (live feed section and not just in About panels) to allow items directly from Amazon marketplace to be showcased, or something similar. The reason I stopped using the overlay for this kind of thing and many of the extensions is that a bulk of viewers were complaining about the degree of ads so I wanted to lessen the presence of it. Keeping this as a constant below stream that is on brand would be great.

    3. Allow the streamer to set up brand specific adsense or advertisements directly from sponsors below streams. This would allow for brands to bid directly into channels similar to the bounty board or other options that could be added as a permanent represented ad item rather than breaking immersion of traditional ads so often. Allow creators the option to retain the revenue split for ads with a lower on screen ad presence if they run an ad in this spot consistently (weekly or monthly increments)

18. Ads Regenerate Every time I pause/resume unsubscribed Twitch Channel!!

    Just a huge idea regarding an extreme annoyance. When I am watching a Twitch video on a channel I am not subscribed to, upon pausing the video I then click play/resume and a new set of Ads appears, even if I just paused the video only a minute ago and just finished a round of Ads. What is this??? This is a bit ridiculous. Does Twitch not have the technology to know that I just watched Ads only a minute ago when I paused the video?

    For example, I am watching a gaming channel where I write down strategies, and I have to pause the video to take notes. EVERY TIME I pause, I get hit with Ads when I click Play.

    Come on Twitch Team, do Ads really need to be this out of control? You've go to be smart enough to create an algorithm that knows that I just got hit with 3 minutes of Ads only a minute before.

19. Anpassung der Werbung, Sehr dringend

    Ändert bitte sehr sehr Dringend die Werbung, bzw packt auch mal andere rein, mir kommt das kotzen wenn ich in der letzten woche MEHRMALS diese dumme fibi Werbung sehe wo es um Gummibärchen geht. Habt ihr nix anderes mehr, nurnoch diese ?????????????????????

    Ich habe definitiv kein sub bei jedem Streamer den ich gucke und das sind mehrere am Tag, das hat keiner. Jeder einzelne Streamer Switch kommt diese dumme selbe Werbung. Es ist ja in Ordnung das sie mal gezeigt wird, dafür ist sie ja auch da, aber es ist einfach nur dämlich 20 mal die ein und selbe Werbung zu sehen da kommt wirklich das kotzen, aber volle kanne. Kann ja nicht sein das ihr nur eine habt.

    Ich esse nicht mal gummibärchen, warum bekomme ich dann so eine Werbung ?

    Eine Frage, worauf basiert denn der Algorithmus bei euch für einzelne user ? Denn ich habe definitiv nix der gleichen in den letzten MONATEN gegoogelt oder auf Twitch gesucht. Blendet ihr einfach random müll für die leute ein, die einen nichtmal interessieren ? Ihr macht damit Geld das die Werbung gesehen wird, ich weigere mich aber Geld zu generieren für Werbung die mich nichtmal interessiert. Frech und unverschämend!!

20. Ad volume bug

    When a Twitch ad starts, it's really loud even at 1% volume. Until I giggle the volume slider, the current ad lower the volume. BUT when the next ad starts, the ad volume becomes really loud again!!!!!!!! Fix this please
