Unrelated Drops (Ads) Twitch Drops being used as ads is disgusting.
When it's a promo related to a game, that's one thing. But what is this Apple TV/Music? These streamers aren't using Apple TV/Music. I'm 100% certain if they were streaming THE VERY CONTENT OF THE DROPS, that they're be muted or DMCA struck. And EVEN WORSE IS OPT OUT!!!!! Why is this on by default? Every other drop you have to turn on. This is the most disgusting Ad thing Twitch has ever done. Not leaving such streams open. And it's REALLY not the streamers fault.

Werbung abändern Die momentane Werbung, die seitlich vom Stream eingeblendet wird und dadurch Streamfenster verkleinert und danach wieder vergrößert, macht einen kopftechnisch nach gewisser Zeit kirri. Möchte nicht wissen, wie stark andere das negativ wahrnehmen.
Bitte macht die Ads meinetwegen, wie teils schon, unterhalb vom Stream wo eigentlich Titel etc. steht, hauptsache nichts am Streambild wird skaliert. Da könnte man auch die Werbespots für andere Dinge machen, wen es interessiert wird schon drauf klicken.

Allow the option in Dashboard to make it so VIPs and Mods dont get ads. Allowing the option on your Streamer Dashboard Manager and change it so VIPs and Mods don't get ads would help them be able to manage and moderate the chat and communicating with the streamer with issues in chat better.

Give Creators the Option to Tailor the Adverts for their Audience Let creators choose advertisers they feel are most relevant to their community and that align with their brand. Either from a list of advertisers on the platform or via the Amazon Affiliate program so that they could also have ads roll for specific products that they already use and promote.

Whispered/quiet ads for ASMR content/streams would help everyone :) So instead of loud ads aimed at more extroverted individuals, allow or strike a deal with companies that create asmr-appropriate ads as they are becoming more commonplace. This would help all parties involved, companies can still profit, streamers won't have to feel guilty for ads that ruin the introverted experience of asmr, and viewers won't have to be rudely awakened from they meditative state with whispered or quiet-spoken ads. It's a win win win win if you are interested in that sort of thing. please and thank you ^.^

Stop front loading ads! It isn't worth sitting through the ads when just checking out a new streamer Why when I want to check out a new stream or something interesting I see on the front page, am I greeted with at least 30sec of ads if not more. This generally makes me just close the window or go to a different channel. This is very counterintuitive to growth of really any streamer. I know I can't be the only one out there who does this as well.

Add a way to skip ads with bits If a streamer runs ads at a bad time, add a way for viewers to skip ads at the cost of 1 bit per advertisement. This would help viewers not have to sub if they can't afford a sub but also be able to not miss any content if they wanted to see that part of a stream

Additional ad snoozes for longer streams. Often times I need to snooze ads while i'm finishing a match while streaming before I can get to my 3m worth of ads to remove my prerolls. While the ad snoozes themselves are extremely useful to me 3 snoozes per stream can be a little lacking especially when you are streaming for 4+ hours.
Having a snooze refresh after hour 3 or 4 of your stream would be highly beneficial to those streamers who use this feature and tend to stream longer.

Ad volume synced to broadcast If a broadcast is tagged for ASMR, myself and many others believe that ad volume should be synced to the broadcast volume (or a standard low volume) as to not jump scare viewers. As a viewer and streamer, it is extremely off putting and a major deterrent. There has to be a way to fix this.

Tag/category filtering Please allow users to filter out categories or tags or languages that they would never be interested in. Example would be to recommend only the languages you don't have blacklisted, or allow me to blacklist certain tags that could be non child or family friendly such as "bikini" "hot tub" "Vtuber". it should be totally within anyone's right to have basic custom filters for what they will see

Give Creators More Options for Ad Frequency The games I play and my content style does not lend itself well to ads every hour. And, to be frank, 3 minutes isn't a long enough time for me to actually have a proper break and get the things I need to get done done during my breaks.
I would greatly appreciate being able to run longer ad breaks less frequently to better work within the shape of my content.
Specifically, I think the addition of options for 4.5 minutes of ads every hour and a half and 6 minutes every 2 hours would be very helpful so that…

Yearly Turbo sub at $9.99/mo On the positive side, Turbo subscription is a great idea. Especially now that you have so many "always on" channels. However, $15.99 is just too much. Lower this to $9.99/mo, maybe with a yearly contract and you'd have me signing up.

Let me see a channel before an ad so I can decide whether it's worth staying When I browse channels to find something to watch I want to know whether sitting through an ad is worth my time. If you show an ad as soon as I open a channel, I'm leaving, because I don't even know if I care enough to sit through the ad. That's how ads work. Ad volume consistently resets between ads Everytime a series of ads run on twitch, the volume resets after every ad to an absurdily high volume. If I set the volume down to 0 or 1%, with the original stream volume being at say 50%, the volume of the ad resets to 50% every ad.

de-sync when ad plays There is an issue where an ad will play and no audio for the ad is present- either from the following
- The audio for the ad isn't played til the next ad starts
- audio doesnt play at all until the ads are over
which after either of these finish the audio to the stream is out of sync / delayed to the point that you have to refresh the stream. Guess what happens next..
- Rewatch the same ads you just watched just before the issue happened
- Watch new ads that make the audio for the stream de-sync again

whole-site ad option for viewers to temporarily stop preroll ads currently, viewers are discouraged from watching new streamers due to preroll ads as soon as they load a stream for the first time.
so it would be great if a viewer could click a button to watch a few minutes of ads, and then not have to watch preroll ads.
similar to streamers running 3 minutes of ads per hour to stop prerolls for their channel for the rest of the hour, a viewer would be able to watch 3 minutes of ads and be immune from preroll ads for an hour.

COUNTERMEASURE for trying to bypass ads is for ads that play joining stream or refreshing the stream will be chained/multiple ads so that audiences are more inclined to sit through the 1 ad or less ads than joining.

Content specific ads. Mature content on Twitch has become the hottest of topics as of late especially when it comes to ad space and advertisers in general.
My thought being why can't we have our cake and eat it too? Why isn't there a way to have an adult side of Twitch, Twitch After Dark or something, with ads that would target the specific audiences. Obviously not advocating for full on adult films on the site but a place for the more mature streamers/viewers who want to show content/take in such content.

Spanish ads in Poland. Improve ads targeting There is huge issue with Twitch targeting ads. In Poland there is massive amount of Spanish ads. Issue exists for couple of months. Please improve ads targeting and stop displaying worthless ads that no-one understand in Poland
