Hear Stream while ads play without paying please I hate that in order to continue hearing the stream I have to pay. Ads block all sound of stream and I dont mind having ads on but I'd like the ability to still hear whatever stream I am watching without having to pay. The ads are incredibly loud compared to the main stream at full volume too. Even if u limited ads to only be set half volume when playing I just wanna not have to miss half a conversation from a stream.

Is this a game stream site or an Ad Service I have gotten over 6min of ads when trying to view a new streamer. If there is a pre-roll of ads with a >30s of time or more I close your site and move on. So many ads your worse than cable tv i mean really is this an ad site or a gaming site. Keep up the great work of driving viewers away and hurting new content providers.

A way to get a ad free month - watch one ad then opt in for more. A new idea for making ads less off-putting. This may not even be possible. I was thinking that a panel ad starts (I love them, by the way). Then, give an opt-in button to get more ads. Then, after each ad, you get a point. With enough points, you can get stuff, from emotes to whatever you guys can think of. But at the top end, you get a free month of ad-free viewing—not a sub, but just no ads for a month.

I am done with Twitch! I see more ads than I see the gamer play. And what's worse, it's the same ad, over and over. I don't need progressive ins, or state farm. I can find my own credit card if I wanted another. I have seen these so much that I can say word for word the script. It's no wonder that viewership has fallen like a rock.

Ads Related to Content/Branding Expand the ads department to bring more niche ads to specific content.
Examples of this could be:
1. military ads when playing Call of Duty
2. World of Warcraft ads displaying school supplies and shopping at back to school as the game has a slightly older audience
3. IRL content displaying vehicle ads, camping goods, etcThis would allow higher clickthrough rates, more trust with advertisers, higher ad revenue for both Twitch and streamers, and keep content a bit more seamless across the board when thinking of branded content.

Stop playing overlay ads on live streams Stop playing 30 second unskippable ads over videos. When there is active pvp fights happening, and a 3o second unskippable ad comes on, forces me to watch something that is not interesting to me or even if it was, takes me away from watching an intense pvp fight, all youve done is create negative brand association with whatever ad Im forced to watch. Change the volume of the ads Some streamers have very quiet voices, and some keep their voices down because it's nighttime.
If you turn up the volume to hear them, you end up with loud, uninhibited ads that threaten to burst your eardrums.
I heard that when watching a streamer you don't normally watch, there's a grace period before ads start playing, and that's one reason.
It's certainly a nice consideration, but I don't want to risk my health because of it.

fix the broken ad player my viewers noticed my ads werent playin ads it was just a blue screen that says commercial break in progress and for those streams which were 15+hrs streams i got $0 ad rev because of this and even today in a 3 hrs stream same issue so that makes like 4-5 streams in a row with $0 ad rev. this needs fixed ad rev is a big part of my revenue

let ppl block specific adds from a list, e.g. very bad ikea add Give us a list with possible adds in the region. Maybe let us watch them on specific times as to not interrupt important moments on stream. But pls let us block an add (on said list) that's absolutely annoying. I mute/close/refresh spam until the **** add is away... Reporting the add just makes it show up more btw...

Ads at the start of a raid It's such a huge middle finger to creators to hit raiders with ads right in the beginning of a raid. I thought twitch had disabled prerolls for raids, but it's been happening with every raid recently. Feels really bad.

Too quick to run ads Ads run too quickly. When I'm looking for a good stream to watch, I'll click on a stream, 1 second plays & then an ad pops up. I have to watch a couple ads before I even know if I want to stay on that stream or not. Can we at least have 1 minute? I know in less than a minute if I'm going to keep searching for a good stream to watch, but having to watch ads within a couple seconds makes me just turn the whole thing off. Enable streamers to put charities in place of some ads. A feature to generate ads that can support charity across ads to support their desired cause.
Potential: This may serve to bring in more ads with more purpose. This may serve as a write off for twitch and the streamer as well but that'd be a bit complicated since I am not a CPA🐧

Why on earth would twitch promote the orange man's channel? Not only am I not American, I find his presence on a supposedly inclusive platform to be deeply contradictory.
No matter how much that party is bunging amazon, they should not be appearing on any list that I have to see. If anything, it's proof that your algorithm needs a lot of improving if my watch history makes it think that orange man is a relevant lead.

What about using the overlayed mini banner advertisement on the screen? (Burned in ads) I'm understanding that we need ads to continue this platform, but what about making the smaller size of stream display ads? Like the Overlayed artificial ads on sports broadcasting? I hate the ads that hurt the stream's context...

No child-targeted ads. Why am I seeing so many ads for children's toys on what is supposed to be a 13+ site as per TOS? These past few weeks I have seen about a dozen ads for a toy called "hex bots", a few for barbie, and one for a batman action figure, all in the style of ads one would expect to see on Saturday morning cartoons. Actually run the ads when the streamer runs them instead of running them later and interrupting the stream Recently, I've been having issues where a streamer runs 2 or 3 minutes of ads while taking a scheduled break and Twitch only shows me 15 seconds of ads or none at all during that time, but then, less than an hour later, the stream is getting interrupted by ads that the streamer is clearly not aware of. He actually makes the effort to keep the ads from ruining the experience for his viewers while trying to avoid pre-rolls for new viewers.
