Reduce the time of ads A 2min ad in a LIVE stream its the worst user experience ever. If you wanna play that amount of ads that are being played right now, it needs to be fast and under no circunstance take away the streamers screen.
I have been watching a live for the past half an hour and im getting 2min comercials every 6 minutes. Thats the type of thing that makes de users to quit watching.
Unbelievable bad experience.

Audio Ads I like the idea of audio ads because i can still watch the streamer gaming or doing whatever, but they seriously need to be turned down. It says that Audio Ads will match the volume of the stream. That is entirely false. Every time i have gotten an Audio Ad it is significantly louder than the stream volume i have the stream I'm watching set to. Love the Idea, but they need to actually match the stream volume in order for me to be 100% on board with the idea.

Less Intrusive Ads + Better Ads (Based on Objective Public and/or Stream) Today i came to see some streamers i'm not subbed yet, i enter the stream and in that same second an ad shows up.
I change stream, ad shows up.
I go back to the first one, the same ad a third time, i close twitch.
Great way to make more and more people get less time in the platform, totally a "smart" idea by part of the owners.
Definitively this gonna help a lot to make people stay in the platform, what about, i don't know...
Make people watch AT LEAST A COUPLE MINUTES before dropping an ad?

Drop Chevron sponsorship Chevron has been listed as a sponsor for TwitchCon.
Chevron is a fossil fuel company, which means they are one of the largest contributors to climate change. Climate change is the most important issue of our time, and will result in devastating effects on the environment that will harm all living beings on Earth. The fossil fuel industry, including Chevron, has pushed intentional disinformation about climate change, with the intent of protecting their profit while knowingly harming billions of humans. Taking sponsorship money from them helps normalize their genocidal actions. This sponsorship should be cancelled and Twitch should instead tell…

Display how many ads were actually played in the analytics tools Currently you can either run ads manually, or have an ad scheduler play the ads. But ads are not always available to be played, and some regions may not get ads, or ads may not be played for a variety of reasons (viewers being subscribed, adblock, etc).
I think it would be great insight to be able to see exactly how many ads/ad time were actually played during stream in your analytics.

At the moment I can set a maximum advert of 22 minutes with the advertising manager, 3 minutes are recommended which can be split into 2 x 1.5 minutes, for example. But that's not much use to me because I try to take a short break once an hour +/- to make coffee, go to the toilet, etc. On average I need 8 minutes +/- for that.
However I can only place an advert for a maximum of 3 minutes myself, if I leave the advertising manager running I can't place any of my own adverts because…

Please Add favorite campagne to "Drop and Campagne". Please add a "Favorites" menu to the "Drops and Campaigns" menu. When I search for "World of Tanks" campaigns I have to scroll through so many others, there are so many campaigns running at once that I get lost in the crowd. If there was a "Favorites" menu, I could find them quickly! Thanks in advance

Just give us 55% revenue for every ad or let us disable ads Everyone hates ads. There's no reason why Twitch should be allowed to steal more of my money wasting my viewers time because I show less ads. I'd rather just have no ads at all

Quit violating this law!. The Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act (H.R. 1084/S. 2847) (CALM Act) requires the U.S. Federal Communications Commission to bar the audio of TV commercials from being broadcast louder than the TV program material they accompany by requiring all "multichannel video programming" distributors to implement the "Techniques for Establishing and Maintaining Audio Loudness for Digital Television" issued by the international industry group Advanced Television Systems Committee.[1][2] The final bill was passed on September 29, 2010.[3] (Sick of being woke up watching a relaxing stream, by some unwanted law breaking obnoxious ad about nothing I care about!.)

Toggle Option to Adjust Midroll Schedule Based on Manually Run Ads When ad length and frequency is set to manual, if the streamer triggers a manual ad break before their ad break would normally occur, the system properly skips the next scheduled ad break.
HOWEVER, it does not adjust the ad schedule to compensate for this new "ad time".
EXAMPLE:
1- Ads set to 3 minutes of ads every 60 minutes of stream.
2- 50 minutes into stream (10 minutes before the ad break would start), streamer manually invokes a 3 minute ad break.
3- The scheduled ad break at 60 minutes is skipped (as expected).
4- The next scheduled ad…3 votes -
Let ads reset the ad manager timer When running less than 3 minutes of ads, it should have the ad manager continue to count down to a scheduled ad break. What is the point of running, for example, 2.5 minutes of ads when I have ~15 minutes until the next ad break, only for the timer to not reset, and thus, have another 3 minute ad break immediately after? It just interrupts content.

Seria melhor a unificação desses serviços.

Allow Users to block ads with flashing lights Allow users to block ads that have flashing lights. Your advertisers should be marking any videos that have flashing lights that could trigger seizures, migraines, or headaches in users. It's the middle of 2023, this should be an option EVERYWHERE. Adding that one ad that prompted this was an ad that features flashing red warning lights with a couple sitting on a couch seat in a house setting. It has kids with hockey gear. I'll catch the company next time.

If you're going to increase the preroll time from 30 seconds to 45 seconds, let your users know and have them be skippable like youtube There has been no word about this from twitch, but after testing it myself as a viewer and streamer I've noticed that preroll ads are now 45 seconds long.
I am not tuning it at the tail end of midrolls, I tested this earlier today (10/31/2024 at 2:38AM Eastern). I do not have the ads manager on and I only run 3 minutes of ads during my starting soon screen to disable ads for the first hour of stream and let prerolls go after that.
About two and a half hours into stream when I 100% have prerolls on, I…

Add fine-grained controls, stats, and monitoring for played ads Allow streamers to control which ads play to their viewers.
Best would be to allow pre-selecting ad-categories (similar to what advertisers use on e.g. AdSense to target their audience) to filter specific ads from the channel.
AND also add an archive of played ads (in the best case together with ads of how many of the audience members have seen it (by now); how many viewers left while it played; how many reported it; and such) and allow to verify it if viewers complained in chat about an inappropriate ads to either manually blacklist it for the channel to never…2 votes
