Chevron is a fossil fuel company, which means they are one of the largest contributors to climate change. Climate change is the most important issue of our time, and will result in devastating effects on the environment that will harm all living beings on Earth. The fossil fuel industry, including Chevron, has pushed intentional disinformation about climate change, with the intent of protecting their profit while knowingly harming billions of humans. Taking sponsorship money from them helps normalize their genocidal actions. This sponsorship should be cancelled and Twitch should instead tell the truth about the fossil fuel industry.
