1. Popout-Player not truly popping out (nor staying on top / picture-in-picture)

   Hi,

   the current experience of the "Popout Player" option is quite bad as it only opens a new browser window with the stream in it. This has the major drawback of NOT being Top-Most and therefore not being what one would expect from a popping out player (borderless, top-most, picture-in-picture mode) like any HTML5 native video player has.

   Furthermore this is probably an easy win to implement as generic browser extensions that call this feature (even without you providing the button for it within your custom player) appear to work for the most part. Their main limitation appears that when the tap they're popped out of is switched Twitch sometimes refuses to continue playing the stream or automatically downgrades the quality until switched back.

   Furthermore when removing the "div" node using the development console that is overlaying the "video" element*¹ on your website a simple right click on the video is enough to show the "picture-in-picture" option that correctly pops out the player.

   *¹: For reference I'm talking about the entire <div class="Layout-sc-1xcs6mc-0 video-player__default-player">-block which follows right after <video playsinline="" webkit-playsinline=""></video> within the <div class="Layout-sc-1xcs6mc-0 video-ref" data-a-target="video-ref">-block so that this block becomes just <div class="Layout-sc-1xcs6mc-0 video-ref" data-a-target="video-ref"><video playsinline="" webkit-playsinline=""></video></div>.

2. Frames of Andalucia Ad

   The last weeks the Ads are stuck on this Ad "Frames of Andalucia" all the time, all channels the same Ad again and again.. why you don't have a variety of Ads, I accept Ads in channels where I'm not a suscriber, but please use diferent Ads not all the time the same! Thanks.

3. add problems

   A few months ago, I started seeing ads on channels where I normally pay for a sub. I thought the issue would be solved if I upgraded to a higher tier subscription, but instead, the problem spread to other channels as well. Sometimes it’s a 40-second ad that skips after 15 seconds, or it shows four ads but only plays one. I think it’s glitching, and lately, it’s happening more often than I would like

5. Proposal for Moderator Ad Exemption System

   As a moderator for multiple channels on Twitch, I've encountered challenges in effectively managing streams while also dealing with ads. Many moderators, like myself, contribute their time and effort to support streamers without financial compensation. However, the current ad experience can disrupt our ability to efficiently moderate chats, respond to viewer inquiries, and tackle issues such as hate raids promptly.

   Therefore, I propose the implementation of a Moderator Ad Exemption System, which would allow streamers to designate certain moderators to be exempt from ads during their streams. Here's how it could work:

   • Initial Exemption: Each streamer would receive one initial exemption for a moderator on the first day of streaming, regardless of follower count. This ensures that even small streamers with few followers can benefit from ad-free moderation assistance.

   • Scaling Exemptions: Streamers would earn additional exemptions based on their follower count. For every 1000 followers, the streamer would receive one extra exemption for their moderators. This scaling system recognizes the increasing demand for moderation assistance as a streamer's audience grows.

   • Designated Moderators: Streamers would have the flexibility to choose which moderators receive ad exemptions, allowing them to prioritize active and trusted members of their moderation team.

   Benefits:

   • Improved Moderation Efficiency: Ad-free moderation would enable moderators to focus more effectively on managing chats, addressing viewer concerns, and combating malicious activities like hate raids.

   • Support for Streamer-Moderator Relationships: Recognizing moderators' contributions by providing ad exemptions fosters stronger partnerships between streamers and their moderation teams.

   • Scalable Solution: The scaling nature of exemptions ensures that the system remains equitable and adaptable to the varying needs of streamers at different stages of their streaming journey.
     Challenges Faced by Moderators:

   Many moderators, including myself, face financial constraints that prevent us from subscribing to the channels we moderate. Living paycheck to paycheck, it's often difficult to allocate funds for subscriptions, especially when moderating multiple channels. Consequently, moderators rely on the generosity of viewers or the streamer themselves to gift them subscriptions, which may not always be feasible.

   This reliance on gifted subscriptions can be unreliable and unpredictable, leaving moderators uncertain about their ad-free viewing experience and potentially hindering their ability to effectively moderate chats. The proposed Moderator Ad Exemption System would provide a more consistent and dependable solution for moderators to access ad-free viewing while fulfilling their crucial role in supporting streamers and maintaining positive community environments.

   Thank you for considering this additional aspect, which reflects the realities faced by many moderators in the Twitch community.

6. Delay automatic ads for 30 seconds as a viewer

   Before automatic ads start, have a 5-sec countdown with a button to delay the ads for 30 sec if something important is happening.

   Advantage to viewers: ads are less annoying, people will keep using Twitch
   Disadvantage to streamers: ads are less annoying, people are less likely to sub to avoid ads
   Neutral for Twitch: ads still play, just slightly later.

   This button and the countdown wouldn't appear when a streamer manually triggers ads.

7. Rethink promotion of sponsored streams on the For You / Followed Channels pane.

   One of the streams I follow was doing a sponsored stream. The Followed Channels pane (in the desktop web page) showed that channel with a giant billboard ad below. It was also pushed to the top of the list. An obvious promotion of that channel (read: sponsor) by Twitch.

   There was no way to hide the sponsor card to make the stream look normal. I ended up unfollowing the streamer just because it was so annoying to look at.

   It's a bad look on Twitch as a whole. (And it's offensive to users that are paying not to see ads at all.) Find another way to make money.

8. NO random fullscreen Ads which mute the stream! Cut it!

   Don't you get it, Twitch-Team?!
   Yes, I would like to display ads.
   Pre-Stream? Sure, why not?
   Banner ads? Yes, of course!
   But cut the random fullscreen ads!
   Muting a live stream for some random ads, for any duration is the worst!
   And no, if it's intense and I am "in the game", I don't notice any popup of an upcoming ad, nor do I care or want it!

   Give me the option to opt-out of the random fullscreen ads, please!

10. Improvement for the ad manager to disable pre-roll ads

    Would we have a way to make sure the ad manager to make sure that pre roll ads. I will give a example of the issue I run into and what I would like fixed.

    you start and have a 3 min ad - pre-roll is off for 60 min
    after the 60 min the ad manager plays a 90 second ad for 30 min pre roll getting turn off
    hour latter the 90 second ad will play and now you have pre rolls off
    10 min latter lets say I play a 3 min add manually, pre-roll will hit the cap and be off for 60 min but the add manager turn off the next 2 90 second so what will happen is after the 60 min you will have pre-roll for 20 min until the next 90 second block, to get back on the disable pre-roll ads again. At this point you need to manually have to run ads for the entire stream.

    My proposed idea would be a way you can have it set up as, "if pre-rolls where to activate play X amount of ads" (30,60,90,120,150,180). this would allow us to play more ads when we have a dip in the action where a ad break would be perfect without having to worry about breaking the ad manager.

    Would we have a way to make sure the ad manager to make sure that pre roll ads. I will give a example of the issue I run into and what I would like fixed.

11. Exclude the editor role from being shown midroll ads

    Pretty simple idea. Anyone with the editor role in your channel is probably doing a lot of good work for the broadcaster, more likely than not, free of charge for the vast majority of users. Someone who is contributing to the stream shouldn't be forced to financially support the stream to be able to view the content they are potentially going to be editing later, or responding live to assist with running the stream. The should not need to subscribe.

    Partners do get the ability to hand out very limited lifelong sub slots, but that doesn't really cover this purpose, and you can't reassign them if people leave to do other things.

12. Provide AI real-time feedback to creators for ad and tag overlap

    Easy solution for twitch and for everyone. Have an AI listen to the videos and tag them appropriately in real time. Have each tag display the percent of total ads that that tag is okay for. This gives direct feedback to the Creator when they can easily see what topics they need to avoid if they want to keep the highest percentage of ads and revenue. And each time an AI applies a tag, have it give them a direct quote and timestamp from their VOD and maybe even a short clip tied on their account that they can review and dispute

    Seguir vários canais em busca de um conteúdo agradável não vale mais apena, ter que pagar pra não ter que assistir ad em um canal que será acessado por pouco tempo ao dia ou na semana não vale apena, entrar aleatoriamente na twitch em busca de algo pra matara o tempo, não vale mais apena, sou apenas mais um que perdeu esse habito de procurar um bom conteúdo e dar chance de um streamer aleatório crescer gerando bons conteúdos porque não aguenta mais tanto ad.

14. No preroll ads

    90 second preroll ads are making it hard for me to find new content creators. I would love to check out peoples streams to see if it is something I might be interested in but watching 90 seconds of ads jut to be able to see if I like the streamer is too much.

15. Offer "Run 5m Ad Break" As A Quick Action Button

    I have my ads set to run 3m per hour, however, there are times during stream when I'd like to run a longer ad of up to 5m (grabbing a stream snack, refreshing my coffee / tea, or using the restroom). Can I have that longer ad stream button?

16. Ads when visiting new streamer

    Why is there always an Ad when I visit a channel?
    How do I discover new channels if I always have to watch an 1+minute ad?
    Why not after 5minutes of watching the channel?
    Like this I and probably a lot of other people stopped trying to discover new channels.

18. Uninstalling Twitch - Live Advertising Platform

    Due to the quantity and disruptiveness of ads on this platform, I’m no longer spending my money or attention here. Treat users of your app better by running ads that do not interfere with viewing experience. You can put state farm’s logo all around the video player, but can you stop blocking the LIVE stream entirely with the same cheesy corporate commercials? I’m out. Join me. BOYCOTT

19. Stop pre-rolls from running after stream crashes

    If I watch a minute or more of pre-roll ads at the start of a stream, enjoy the stream for 5 minutes before it crashes for a second, and I reload the page to keep watching, I should not get another minute of ads.

    Je pense que nous les petit streamer twitch on devrais avoir une petite partie de revenus pour tous les heure de stream que on fait cela je le comprend que nous somme beaucoup mais je pense que le nombre d'argent que vous gagné vous pouvez faire da dans tous les cas donc vola je pense que on devrais avoir au moin 200 300$ part moi parceque je comprend pas des personne qui sont partenaire gagne plus de 2000$ part mois donc voila puis des fois quand on vois que il sont affliler et on pas plus que 50viewer je pense que tous streamer devrais avoir le droit de avoir des petit partenaire qui nous ramene de la l'argent dans la vie on ma dit fait ce que il te plais je adore mais pourquoi je pourras pas faire ma place et avoir de l'argent de votre part on vous donnant le chance de stream sur votre palteforme je pense que on devrais avoir la chance detres payer dans tous les cas mais juste 5 $ de l'heure serais trop vous demander donc je pense que un minum de 300$ part serais super bien merci a vous et penser au petit streamer svp
