On/Off chat reply/thread Some streamers have the thread where you can reply to the chatter. However, some don't have the thread, so I think it'll be much useful to have this settings enabled & it'll be much more convenient rather than @-ing the user & the topic you're trying to reply to.

Adding the option to temporarily mute other users in chat. Twitch chat needs more options to ignore other users that aren't outright blocking. Sometimes a person may want to temporarily ignore another person in chat without having to remember to unblock them later. Giving the option to mute someone for 24 hours allows this.

Chat input broken (multiplication sign) I encountered a weird issue in the chat input. If you input a string containing two numbers and the small latin letter x it is changed to a multiplication sign (×). For example the name dap1x1 would appear as dap1×1. Please fix this!

temporary username I think it would be cool if there were a way to hop into chat under a temporary username, similar to Discord. I usually invite friends and family to join my stream and chat but they would rather not have to create an account to chat. So if there were a way to assign a temporary username to join chat, I feel like people will feel more inclined to stay in the stream.

pause printing characters in chat when exceeding their allowed number + alarm that Problem is that when user wants to write large message and there is 500 symbols allowed for one message, they want to send 500+ symbols but send 500.

Chat per country So I was watching a stream and an idea popped up in my head. What if I was able to watch streams and chat with my own country. Lets say I am from Bosnia and watching a stream in the US and it would be cool if you could just change the region of the chat to chat with your own people. A dropdown menu where you can select wheter you want to se All countries or a certain one. That would be really cool tho.

chat rules when you click to chat in the first time in a stream, the chat rules appears, and I think the majority of people don't actually read the rules, and a good idea would be that the streamer sets an amount of time that the chat rules stay there, then people actually read the rules.

Let us turn off either gift subscription notifications or chat entirely. When watching a stream, and people keep giving out gift subs, the chat window keeps opening and shrinking the actual video I am watching. Either allow us to turn off gift subscription notifications or let us turn off chat entirely. Otherwise, I will stop subscribing and just watch on YouTube later.

O.o emoticon doesn't work in browser chat Hello, this is a very minor bug but it confused me for a bit.
I was trying to get all of twitch's global emotes using v5 api and emoteset 0, everything seemed fine but I've noticed that this emote [oO](|.)[oO] (regex of course- might want to mention it somewhere in docs) that should match either o.o or oo only shows the emote when typing o_o on browser chat for some reason. A Second Chatroom To Preserve A Stream's Community/Culture Sometimes smaller channels get a large influx of people to the point that the existing community is drowned out and can't talk to each other. A channel I've been a part of for a year has 4000 viewers more than normal, and chat's moving so quickly the regulars can't even talk to each other. What about an auxiliary chat people can move to if the streamer has added them there for being a longtime community member? The streamer could either see both chats or the two chats weave into one on their end. And maybe this chat has a size…

Tone or flashing for chat messages for better and faster chat interaction for beginnigs streamers In the beginning it is difficult for little streamers to keep an eye on chat, games and other things. So that you don't miss any chat messages, a widget that could play a notification tone for new chat messages would be great to make it easier to start chat interaction.

Poll needs improvement - times and links The 10 minute limit on polls is far too short. We need more options in this regard. A direct link to a voting page would also help to distribute polls into the various communities.

Polls feedback / improvements Polls is a great system however there could be some improvements
1) longer running polls - 5, 10, 60 or indefinite (broadcaster stops poll)
2) browser source customisation / improvement - it's currently a little bit hacked together with no real thought. like if added to OBS how am i meant to change whats being displayed?

Accepted 'feature request' badge If you guys do incorporate this idea, can you guys create a new badge like 'glhf' badge or Twitch prime badge specifically for people who have requested a feature that has been implemented into the Twitch system so we can get recognition and have proof to tell friends and show chat. I think that by making these badges, it would encourage more people to request for new features that could improve Twitch quality and the community as a whole.
