[Test] Community Intro
We are experimenting with a new feature that allows new viewers in a channel to introduce themselves via a simple prompt. Messages sent through this feature will be highlighted to the rest of Chat with an invitation to welcome the user via chat reply or @mention. This feature is in a limited release, and we will monitor feedback before deciding whether to make it more widely available.
Channels are enrolled in the experiment automatically and randomly, and creators can toggle the feature on and off in their Moderation settings under Chat Options: https://dashboard.twitch.tv/settings/moderation

Chat Highlights for Streamers and Mods
We’re testing more ways to make it easier for creators to recognize new and returning viewers in chat with additional chat highlights for Mentions, Mods, and Subs. You can toggle individual highlights on or off to focus on a specific type of viewer you want to recognize, like highlighting important messages from your mods or showing love to your subs.
These highlights will not be visible to viewers in chat.
Note: This feature is a limited experiment and we will monitor feedback before deciding to make these highlights more widely available. You may see additional highlight options as we experiment…

Hide blocked users in chat
Hi,
Blocked users messages still pop in chat but hidden behind click, however it may be due to me being moderator. If I choose to not wanting to see them, what do I do?
The "click here to show the message" is even more eye catching than the normal messages, so it doesnt really work for me.
If a user blocks a moderator, can they still see the messages I wonder?
Either way, I would prefer the messages to not show up at all, me being mod or not. Personal reasons.

Return login names instead of display names when using the /vips command
If a user has a localized display name it will not be possible to use their name to query something from the api since it does not accept non English characters.
The /mods command already returns login names so the /vips command should do that too.
The command also returns usernames sorted alphabetically but when using the twitch web chat the command sorts usernames by the order they were added as a mod/vip so the irc command should match that behavior.

Blocking people = Never seeing them
You shouldn't have to deal with anyone ever again if you have them blocked. I recently had to block a friend because he was toxic but we are apart of the same community and so even with me blocking them, i still can see them being @'d and their name in chatlist also if you get blocked by someone why can you still see what their saying. Similar to Twitter if you are blocked by someone you shouldn't be able to see any interactions.

Channel points community challenge: chat notification
Please let us turn off chat notification for contributions to channel points community challenges. If there are a lot of people contributing to the challenge the chat is spammed with the notifications.

Be able to see the entire ban list
The banned chatters list is nowhere near a complete list of people I've banned, and it's not even in order of a person having been banned. There is no order to it. Please allow us to see the entire list of banned names.

Allow an exception for twitch.tv links
Some Channels don't allow links to be posted in the chat, including twitch.tv links.
I believe this is mostly to prevent spam and unwanted advertisement.
An exception for twitch.tv links wouldn't hurt so we can post twitch-related content (maybe with a Option for Streamer's own Channel-related content only).
..This way I can share a Clipped stream highlight other than Reddit.

Add option to hide 'pin message' icon in chat
For people who don't use it anyway, it's kinda annoying and easy to missclick

Emotes in chat
I wish I could use emotes such as :) and :( instead of the robot faces, they just express my feelings far more accurately and the robots should be optional

cleaner chat
cleaner chat: after using streamlabs chat overlay for a while, i wish twitch chat had some of the options that the streamlabs chatbox has:
1) filter out commands starting with "!"
2) filter out bots
by enabling those options, it would allow the streamer to see viewer messagesmore clearly by filtering out commands and bot responses3 votes -
WE NEED THE @
twitch is removing the @ function to tag people in raids and shout outs and PUT IT BACK!!!! as a dylsexic person, i find the removal of this feature ableist and i have seen it result in several raids to the wrong channel.
please stop making it harder for moderators?! we do a lot of work for free because it's fun, stop making it suck.2 votesHi,
Could you please clarify where you derived this information? How was it removed/when and when was it restored?
I may be misunderstanding, but the mention feature requires the user to already be in chat when trying to use @ in conjunction with the command. With that logic, is the ask here that the mention feature work to suggest user that you would like to raid on behalf of the streamer (even if they are not currently in the chat of the channel you're in)? Or is there also an issue that the you cannot use /command @user when they are present in the chat (as a part of a raid) of the channel you're moderating in? Thanks for clariying!

Shift + Enter in messages should actually work
When pressing shift + enter on a message, it should actually skip a line when sending the message (like in discord). It would help so much to make things look more organized when typing a message

Chat Reply
The "click message to reply" feature is distracting and does not read easily, can be especially annoying when you are trying to mod for a channel. Its a lot clearer just @'ing the person you want to talk to.

Streamers should not have disrespectful rules.
Some streamers, including partners, have some rules for the chat which is just ridiculous.
Rules like "Don't be a ****" is disrespectful to the community, since it allows moderators to moderate whatever they want, and then target, harass and further disrespect members for no actual reason. Any rule that mentions "****" or "moron" should be removed.
I'm not being a "*******" I'm chatting with other people. And I reject any idea that this is acceptable in how anyone would treat their own fan base and the community.
Admin audit: Removed specific mentions of people

Annoing raids with no option to cancel them preventively
I cannot find an option to switch off going with raid to another streamers channel. Why should I go there against my will?

Pin Messages Issue
My big issue with the pinning messages system is that it is categorised under Mod Icons and with my moderation experience (since 2014, so almost 9 years as of posting this), I will NEVER use nor recommend ever having Mod Icons turned on for modding a chat due to it being unbelievably awful and I have seen so many mods in the past misclick it which has caused problems and unrest and upset with some viewers, especially with new viewers.
So here is my suggestion on how to improve this, I feel pin messages should be in a separate category…

no audience feedback is considered
this is just a general statement clarifying the neglective nature of twitch towards its viewers, ive forgotten my original complaint because ive spent the last 20 minute jumping through hoops out of spite figuring out how to spread my dissatisfaction, because i abhor twitch this much, skrew twitchs' thirsty problematic lost cause of a system, i only use it cause im bored, congrats

Let the chatters chat.
For some reason a twitch partner is shadow banning people in chat. I can't type in a certain chat, I'm not banned but all of my messages get removed because of "Moderation settings". Even messages that are the same as other peoples messages. I don't want any chatter left out. I took a screenshot. I'd Like this feature removed.
