Chat overlay instead of screen size adjustment Chat registers as an overlay (like YouTube) on the screen rather than making the stream a smaller size.
When viewing YouTube streaming, I find myself leaving chat on as it doesn’t affect the overall stream viewing as much as on twitch where the viewing screen adjusts to smaller size to accommodate chat. I typically leave chat off with twitch.3 votesHi, thanks for your feedback!

Option to prevent custom badge from automatically changing I've often found it to be a bit of an annoyance when I have a custom badge (the one that overrides your global badge) set in a channel and then I take some action such as cheering bits of gifting a sub and my custom badge automatically gets updated and then I have to go change it back to what I want it to stay as. /whisper command It would be greatly appreciated if we would have the feature to have a /whisper command in chat. And the user would see the whisper message in-chat.
The command would be in this type of format:/whisper [username] [context]And if this feature is accepted. I would love to see a command for mods too. Only mods and the streamer itself would see the whisper in the chat and no one else.

Pin Emotes Please allow us to pin emotes or a creator (or ourselves) to the top of the emote selector. I sub to a bunch of channels and sometimes I have to search a while to find my own emotes.

Suggestions for commands starting with exclamation mark (!) Usually in the stream description you can see a plenty of commands like !rules !sabathon !youtube !gift !drops !tg !etc
The idea is to give streamers the feature there they will register such commands with its brief description.
And when chat user starts message with "!" symbol, a suggestions will appear.

chat disconnecting when fullscreen As of a few days ago, every. single. time. one enters fullscreen on any stream, the chat will stop loading messages and disconnect until you exit fullscreen. There is no way to catch up on what was said in chat, ruining the whole experience.
If this was an intended change, please revert it asap.

Stop the emoji box from moving while new chats go. I am trying to select emojis when the chatbox is open and everytime i select emojis when the chat box is open the emoji box keeps on moving can you fix this so the chat box is static and does not move while new chats are moving. it is very annoying it shouldn't be a game or a problem to select emojis and the chat shouldn't make the chat box move. Thank you very much

Allow moderators to send messages to live chat that are only visible to other moderators/broadcaster. Much how moderators can use /announce to broadcast a message, moderators should have the ability to send a message in chat that is only visible to other mods and the broadcaster.
Implementing this would limit having to alt-tab over to Discord to speak in a separate private channel and only engage with other active mods in chat which helps for context when discussing issues.

Add Shoutout button to channel profiles in chat. The Shoutout feature is a great idea and could have massive potential when it comes to shining a light onto certain people you wanna support. The problem is that the way it's currently implemented is very limited because the only way to use it is via a command that you have to type. This can be rather cumbersome to do as not only do you have to make sure you type the command correctly, you need to be able to type the exact name of the person

disappearing message for temporary info Often chat got filling by commands like !songrequest or votes via chatbot. It will be nice if we will have /temp command or way to mark message as temporary that will post message that will disapear after some time (like 10 seconds). Like as we can remove messages via bot uses twitch api, but without "message was deleted" stub.
Which will be useful for bot responces and make chat more readable. Also it can be used for joking around while streamer dont look in chat.10 votes -

Chat specifications only pop up the first time you join a chat. Is it possible to pop up with a key notification every time you enter the ch I hope that the chat box can jump out of the chat rules every time. In addition to avoiding inappropriate remarks at the first time, it can also prevent people from forgetting the rules of introducing their live hosts below.

[Test] Crowd Chant Some communities will notice a new way to "chant" during hype moments on stream. This is a limited time experiment where only some creators will have access to this feature. Creators and Mods will be able to use /chant (using text and/or emotes) in chat to kick one off. Viewers will see a private callout with the chant and can dismiss or choose to participate!

Handling for white space in chat. Hi, currently after a string reaches the limit. chat input-editor wraps the text into the next line, However if you try to input white space into the text box, after a limit it will displace the left side nav-bar into the void making nav-bar less accessible.
