chest covered policy why some men can stay at stream without shirt , and women are being punished for they cleavage and show the body, and men can go shirtless live no matter what kind of body shapes they have (yes, there are men who appear to have breasts)?
can we have an equal policy for all ?

Just Dance and Guitar Hero Dear Twitch, I was wondering if streaming Just Dance or Guitar Hero is allowed on your platform, since there is a lot of copyrighted music in these games. I don't know how the licenses work in that case.

Direitos autorais em música Se eu toco uma música com direitos autorais, mas possuo o direito do autor para utilizar sua música. Como eu faço se meu vod for mutado? O que preciso para comprovar que tenho o direito do autor para tocar suas músicas?

Music & Sounds We really need to come up with something that allows streamers to play any kind of music they want and watchers to post song requests without having content deleted or the creators having to deal with strikes/bans/etc, because it was half, if not a big chunk, of the fun of twitch. I loved being able to share my favorite music with the streamers I like to watch, but now I can't do that because of this DMCA nonsense. Part of the fun with video games is inserting your own background music, and that should be able to be shared with…

and toxic streamers that move their community to attack another streamer user / bot attack that other streamers do that they don't like better look for more staff in the streamer's surveillance area ...
Hi, I'm a small streamer who received a 7-day twitch penalty and now I can't upload emotes without the staff seeing it and it turns out that they tell me it was for making a black joke or being homophobic or something if I'm gay and never I would laugh at another person with my same sexuality or at straight people but it turns out that they couldn't send me any clip of what was the thing…1 vote -

IS there any data backing up the claim in the blogpost about the vast majority of streamers? "The vast majority of our creators don’t have recorded music as a part of their streams"
I'd like to know the data this claim is based on.2 votes -
Better reporting Twitch should implement better reporting tools, starting with no longer requiring you to either report from within your channel or from their channel. For example, if reporting due to behaviors off-platform or reporting off-stream after gathering information to make the report rather than interrupt the flow of your own content, it's a bad experience to have to go their channel. If the person being reported is a streamer themselves, then that also forces someone to have to see that person's stream content or potentially live content in order to make a report, and because many people tend to wait to…

Creating restrictions to prevent racist, flaming and hate spam Hi guys, I'm new here but i'm quite angry for what happened just now to a friend of mine. She started streaming a few months ago and she is giving her all to provide her little audience with a fun, polite and interactive experience. Despite her devotion to these principles, some users in 2020 still enjoy entering chats in group only to flame, spam racist stuff and other forms of hate. I get that in some ways you can manage your chat to prevent this stuff to happen but for small streamers it's kinda hard to manage on their own.…

Singing copyrighted music I’ve tried to triple check my clarity. Can I get in trouble for singing a copyrighted song if I use nothing like the music, original voice, etc? Just musicless karaoke style?

I want contact of resolution. We get the initial notice that we've made a report and that's great. What we don't have is any resolution. We are left in the dark as to any actions or if the report was even looked at.
It would be nice to have a follow up email letting us know that someone has at least read the report and acted (even inaction) ala the vague wrap up email."Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We've initiated an investigation based on the information that you provided and we'll take appropriate action based on our findings. Please note…

Harassment & DOXXING For 9 months I have been reporting someone who has been harassing me over and over with NO response from Twitch. When will there be a real system in place to protect streamers??
This person has made numerous accounts with usernames that have shared personal information including my phone number, addresses, and names of family members. I have reported, banned, blocked, and had my MODs do the same, but nothing has ever been done on Twitch's end.
If others are going through this, I want to hear about it and what Twitch is going to do to help those of…

Seperate Soundtrack by Twitch and the Vod music control plugin You created an amazing tool to resolve 95% of DMCA issues and decided to lock it behind Soundtrack by Twitch?? Why? If you give us the ability to tie an application(s) (Example: chrome for spotify/youtube etc.., or even a media player for local audio) to the "remove from vod" obs plugin, there would be no music from anywhere (except from in games) in any vods. Why is the DMCA chaos not solved already with this? Seems like a MAJOR oversite or this is just a way for you to try and push your Soundtrack by Twitch software by holding this…

Transparency and consistency with penalties, as well as an open source of communication Over a year ago at Twitchcon 2019, twitch discussed and spoke about how when people are suspended or banned, that they would put in methods, procedures and other resources so that if someone did indeed get suspended from twitch, then they would be informed of their misdoings that led to them being punished.
Its been over a year, and while we are living in the 'rona era, that still doesn't excused that even before it existed, there was barely any signs that any of these were put into place. The only thing we got was a council that had controversy…

Clarification about whether or not video game music is safe when it comes to DMCA? Hello, this is CuppOfCocoa. A few months back, I sent a message to support asking if playing original video game music (for example, having Mario music playing in the background) is safe for DMCA, but the response was that there was not enough information available to give the answer. A friend of mine said that it should be safe, because if you were to be playing that video game (Mario) and streaming it, you would be having the original video game music on stream anyway; I wanted to see if there was new information/an official answer on this (Nintendo might…

Amazon Music Amazon, which owns Twitch, has their own music service. IIRC there is also an extension that allows Amazon Prime Members to share their currently playing Amazon Music lists with other Amazon Prime members. What would the feasibility of allowing Amazon Music Prime members to share their currently playing lists with everyone like the Watch Parties?
