Extend the Countdown The Countdown is too short. I start a Watch Party, and by the time the Countdown happens, it cuts off a few seconds of the episodes.
3 votesThanks for reaching out with your suggestion. We’re currently investigating all kinds of different content controls, and where we can add them to our product roadmap.

Allow more access to watch parties! Take away region lock from watch parties.
Allow subs to watch along, even without prime!
26 votesThanks for the feedback, we’re working on making Watch Parties available to our global community in the coming months. Stay tuned for more!

Let us have an option to have watch parties with ads (commercials) so that non prime viewers can also join in. The Ad money can go to amazon in exchange for letting non prime viewers join the watch party. They would be essentially paying amazon for a a very specific viewing. I hate the idea that I have to exclude non prime viewers in order to do a watch party.
16 votesThanks for the suggestion. At this time, Ads are not supported in Watch Parties. We will let you know if this is added to our roadmap

Please add Rock of Love (all seasons) to watch parties. Please add Rock of Love (all seasons) to watch parties. We're currently watching Flavor of Love s3 and need Rock of Love in our lives. This may be the MOST important thing in our lives right now. No pressure.
9 votesHello, we expect to expand to the entire catalog of titles available to Prime members later this year. Stay tuned!

Costream/multistream I think a great way of helping the community grow and helping people grow is by adding the option to stream together on the same screen. By inviting a channel to stream with you on your channel, you, in turn, stream on their channel as well and you end up sharing viewership and growing together with your friends. A great way of doing it is by looking at the multistre.am website and going to layout 4, or by joining both chats together so that both you, and your partner can interact with the chat together without having the problem of…

Increase Disconnect Protection Time to 5 Minutes I think the Disconnect Protection feature is a life saver in a lot of situations - but there are times where the current 90 seconds is not enough to recover.
In a case where a computer blue screens, it feels like a race to reboot, load up the streaming software and continue the stream.
Modems that also need a reset can take 2-3 minutes to connect online, and many routers (at least that I've owned) take a long time to restart and give online access again too.
A 5 minute window would make the recovery process a lot less stressful.

Have the promo image on the stream preview Have the promo image of the show or movie the watch party is for on the Stream preview. This will make it quicker for viewers to glance through the Watch party streams and see which ones they may want to check out
14 votesThanks for the suggestion! I’ve passed this along to the product team to look into as we continue shaping the product roadmap.

Custom Subtitles for unsupported languages I am a bilingual that speaks Korean and English. I stream for Korean viewers mostly, but I think this may apply to any other unsupported languages.
I have just tried the watch parties, and it is completely unusable for me because of the language barrier. For some shows in the future, I imagine there would be Korean subtitles, but I know that it is unlikely for the most shows.
Rather than waiting indefinitely and hoping for the best, what I am going to do now is to make my own subtitles and stream it along with watch party (and please…

Let people from the Teen Program login to watch Watch Parties. Currently people from the Teen Program get an error when trying to watch Watch Parties, but normally have access to Prime just not through the Watch Parties login.

Allow non prime members to use Watch Parties It is a great idea but a failed launch. It kicks people out of the watch party, and leaves a silent window with just you in their with the watch party. Unless you have a good scene, it can be embarrassing and low grade quality to not allow others to be in the party.
I stopped the film because I lost all of my viewers after I switched over to Watch Parties from a "just chatting" while I was gathering a crowd to watch the show. However, this app forces people to sign up for Prime, or start a trial.…

Squad Stream Petition There should be a process for new teams of creators to petition for squad streaming services. There are groups that want to make a multi stream twitch channels. I believe there should be a process to determine if the idea is worthy. Having to be a partner stops the ideas and niche streaming possibilities. And delays other small streamers from getting momentum.

Make it clear to non-prime subscribers that they need prime to participate One of the complaints that I received during one of my recent watch party streams is that a viewers messages were never appearing in chat. This was because they did not have a valid prime subscription. My recommendation would be to treat the watch party like a subscriber only stream and/or like a VOD for the duration of the watch party and lift those restrictions when the watch party isn't happening. It would also be nice if there was something to tell them to connect their prime account or direct them on how to get prime so that they can…
50 votesWe appreciate the feedback! Our team is currently working on various designs to make it easier to onboard new Prime subscribers. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for those new user flows!

Make it clearer for viewers joining the stream what you are watching and where you are One idea from one of my community members was that they would like to know what is being watched and where in the video we are. That way, they don't jump into random streams at a random position and get spoiled by something in a movie that they haven't seen yet.

Add a "Jump to next episode" button for series When watching a TV Series (such as Made in Abyss), it would be nice to have a "Start next episode" button somewhere, possibly when the credits start to roll. The current process for playing the next episode is as follows:
- Go back to the Creator's Dashboard
- End/Cancel the current watch party (or wait for it to end)
- Start a new watch party
- Scroll all the way down to the episode that you want, then click it
- Select the season that you want to watch
- Hope you remember what episode that you just finished so that you can select the next…

fast forward Give the ability to fast forward content.
for instance if a stream is cut off due to an internet problem and the stream has to restart the watch party from the beginning17 votesThanks for your feedback! We’re currently investigating all kinds of different content controls, including the ability to fast forward and rewind a Watch Party. This is a great suggestion as we continue to build out our roadmap for the rest of the year.

Watch Party Scroll Bar While streaming last night, my stream lost connection and had to restart it about 10 mins later. I wasn't able to resume the movie where I had left off so having a scroll bar/jog bar or even chapters would greatly help in the event of lost connections as it stinks having to restart a movie/show from the very beginning due to something that can't be controlled.
32 votesThanks for reaching out, and apologies for the frustration. There are lots of different content controls that we’re investigating for our future roadmap, and we will add this one to the list!
