1. Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.

   For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

2. Cancel the OpenAI x Twitch Twitchcon Hackathon Event

   Hosting an event revolving around the use of Generative AI that will be featured at the largest Twitch related social event is a blatant disregard and disrespect to all of the home grown developers and programmers that work to make their streams great for their viewers. This needs to be cancelled. We're already vocally anti-AI, and this is yet another unwanted move against the community to try and further inject AI usage into a people focused platform. Get rid of it.

3. Cancel adding ai features to twitch and remove the already added feature

   For the sake of the platform, viewers, and creators on the platform, don't add features for generative ai, I find it improbable that nobody at twitch has seen the backlash every other platform has faced after implementing ai, discord, for example.

   We all know how many sub cancelations are coming if ai spyware "features" are implemented.

4. Show whether channel is opted in or out of AI features

   There should be an indicator on channels that show whether the channel is opted in or out of AI features. If I were a streamer who is opted out, I would only want to raid other channels who are opted out. I know there are tags for this, but tags are limited, and not all streamers are willing to sacrifice tags they deem more important. And from a viewer standpoint, if I am against AI, I would want to know which streamers are in or out so I can decide whether to engage or not. Since Twitch released this feature and opted everyone in by default, despite knowing people would not like it, you should at the very least make it visible for users to know so they can choose what channels they engage with going forward.

6. Allow users to opt out of ALL generative AI training

   This was already brought up once before, but considering the people in charge have chosen not to listen, I will re-iterate.

   The vast majority of the Twitch userbase HATES generative AI and do not want their content used to train generative AI. Allowing streamers to only opt out of some training is not sufficient. We want to be able to opt out of ALL generative AI training.

   Your success as a streaming platform is only by the auspices of the streamers who are fiercely protective of their creative rights. Ignoring those rights will result in a mass exodus of streamers and Twitch's collapse.

7. Twitch Horror Creator Club Proposal

   Twitch Creator Clubs were introduced as a means of creating a space for like minded creators, and I would love to propose the idea of a Horror Creator Club! I’ve had this idea for quite some time, honestly, long before the creator clubs were a thing, and I think utilizing this UserVoice and finally putting my ideas out there to gauge interest would be the best idea. I believe the Horror space has a WIDE variety of creators (and developers) and having a safe space for these individuals to come together and share ideas would have such a positive influence on the creator community within Twitch.

   After the Halloween event showing users utilizing the “Fright Fest” category when streaming horror games, it honestly made me think, why can’t we have something of this nature year round? Horror is such a broad genre that encapsulates a ton of different types of games. There’s your AAA horror titles, countless indie horror titles that no one has ever heard of, multiplayer horror/horror adjacent games, horror events that happen within games that may not be classified as horror, and there’s also a ton of developers on the platform in the horror genre always looking to branch out to new creators who might enjoy similar content.

   A Horror Creator Club could work together to bring all of these creators together in one safe and cohesive space on the platform. This club could be an incredible tool for creators to utilize, to be able to find like-minded streamers and creators without having to wait till the one month of the year when this genre actually comes to the forefront. Outside of October on Twitch or the drop of a brand new viral indie game(or AAA game), finding other horror creators is tough and for those who do heavy variety when it comes to horror games, it’s almost impossible.

   The draw for a Horror Club is certainly there and it is incredibly present between the creators who try to link up in outside Creator Programs, as well as at in person meetups at cons like Twitchcon and Pax. I have attended several horror gaming creator meetups at twitchcon, pax east, and other conventions, and they have helped me to find and discover so many new individuals who share the same passion for this genre as I do. Horror as a genre also brings up the topic of Mental Health many times and honestly I find it so important that in playing these games as a community, we continue to bring up these discussions around the importance of mental health and keeping open communication with these topics. The Horror community as I’ve seen thus far, has hosted countless charity streams, in person events, and panels at various cons to discuss our love of horror gaming, the importance of talking about the serious topics that can be within these games, and has further brought creators together with a common goal of constantly spreading awareness and creating safe spaces in the process. This club would be a great space to help creators in planning further charity events, in person panels, and potential meetups even outside of just the few big conventions a year, that many creators cannot always afford to attend.

   I think a Horror Creator Club not only will aid in bringing the VAST amount of horror creators together, but will also serve as a safe space in the Twitch community as a whole, to push for more togetherness while playing games that many others may judge us for enjoying. There are so many outside teams, creator programs, discords for specific games, and more, but why not have a space where ALL of those creators can meet under one horror genre umbrella? Overall, I think this general space to connect would be an asset to Twitch and would allow for horror creators of all types to come together to further uplift these creators and this genre we all love so much!

   I highly implore individuals who think Twitch would benefit from a Horror Creator Club to comment, share your ideas, and insights into why you think this would be a great addition for Twitch to include! Horror is a genre enjoyed by a vast amount of individuals of all walks of life, so this club will open up a space for so many creators who may not yet feel as if Twitch has created a space for them yet. I would love to help foster a community and club for creators like myself who love all things horror, ALL year round!

    Subtitle: Turning Community Passion into Platform Discovery.

    1. The Core Problem

    Currently, Twitch discovery is a "Winner-Take-All" system. New and mid-tier streamers are buried under a "Directory Floor" where they are statistically invisible unless they already have thousands of viewers. This encourages "Viewbotting" and creates a "glass ceiling" for talent.

    1. The Solution: Hype Points & The Discovery Wheels

    We replace the static "High-to-Low" viewer sort with two dynamic, interactive Discovery Wheels located at the top of every category.

    A. The "New Streamer" Wheel

    • Target: Accounts under 6 months old or hitting "Path to Affiliate" milestones.
    • How it works: An automated spotlight that rotates every 10 minutes, showcasing fresh talent based on consistency and early community growth.

    B. The "Trending" Wheel (The Hype Wheel)

    • Target: Any Affiliate or Partner.
    • How it works: Streamers earn a spot on this wheel by collecting Hype Points during their live broadcast. These points reset every stream, ensuring the wheel is always "fresh."

    Now Twitch did have a "boost this stream" hype train but it was executed as a "cash grab" or a "pay to win" which viewers and streamer saw clearly.

    there was a category carousel but it functioned like the front page, there was no way for a small or new streamer or even an affiliate to be able to go on it.

    And having a shorts feed shows off more clips and verity making people either clinking on those or scrolling past it making viewers look at the category with more care.

    This system would reward viewers and streamers for doing things that twitch wants us to do already, with clear direction from all parties.

    NOW IMPORTANT!!!!!! If you limit this to only partners it will fail. this needs to be a thing that everyone has access to! The point is that it turns existing features like the achievements, hypetrains, and carousels into things that everyone can contribute to. Twitch grew because of interaction. Twitch is failing to recapture it. Twitch is a gamer website, we should gamify things as much as possible. If you don't want lurkers then reward active chatters. If streamers want discovery then give them a way to do so that benefits you and is easy to understand to even a casual viewer. This system is aimed to reward active viewers, reward hype trains and give streamers a reason to ask for subs. It also makes it harder to fake engagement!

    Now I am not good at math or deciding how we should distribute the cost of hype points per minute on the trending wheel, but it should equalize the opportunities making people want to grow. Adding quality over quantity. Especially if you can only be on the wheel for an hour and have to wait 3 hours before reattempting to go on it again. Have this be a button on the dashboard so streamers can promote themselves!

    So far I have talked with my stream circle and they have worries yes but if it was a thing they think it could work. Big streamers would not like it and come up with excuses to shut it down but that's because it brings competition and makes view bots harder to fake growth.

    PS I used AI to clean up and spell check this proposal but that's because my english is not the best but these ideas are still mine and are a passion project!

    Resubs and bulk-purchases of subscriptions to channels should count towards Creator Badge (Sub) Drop Criteria eligibility.

    It has come to my attention that the Creator Badge Drop Events do not count resubscriptions from currently subscribed viewers towards receiving the Subscription category of the Badge Drop Event.

    While I understand receiving new subscriptions from new viewers is important, repeated and loyal subscribers are equally important, if not more valuable to a channel's foundation.

    During my currently ongoing badge drop event, several viewers of mine have informed me that they did not receive the Sub badge reward despite resubscribing while the event was live and active.

    This included subscribers who subscribe months in advance and Tier 2 and above subscribers as well, which from a monetary standpoint, is far more expensive/valuable than a single month Tier 1 subscription, so I fail to understand why these examples are not eligible for receiving the Creator Sub Badge reward.

    Please consider changing the criteria to include such cases for receiving the Creator Badge Sub Category reward.

12. Stop forcing AI onto us

    Noone wants it, noone asked for it, Twitch knew this and forced it on us anyways and then made zero attempt to tell anyone.
    "Noone reads their email" isn't even close to good enough first of all, secondly what is the point of the notification tab then if not this exact thing?!

13. Please stop pushing AI Features

    All of the people who I partner with and work with on Twitch are all going to be changing to another platform apparently due to the continuing ignorance of how people DO NOT want these features added. You even admitted that no one would Opt in yet you turn it on by default. THAT is a slap in the face. WHY would you turn it on by default? Please tell me us why with sincerity. Not reading from a script. Not just telling us what we want to hear. We know that Twitch and Amazon are together on this, but is it really worth losing your entire platform?

    I have watched companies drop the ball due to these things. I do not want to see yet another company make the SAME EXACT MISTAKE. It won't just be subs being lost. It will be streamers, Teams of content creators, even up and coming streamers will back out before anything more happens because they want to preserve their HUMANITY.

    LISTEN to the people, or the people will fight back the exact way they know how to: Working together to achieve a common goal.

    To anyone who is reading this, vote if you agree that any of these goals are attainable without any AI. That it can be done from a Person that is sitting on the other end of that screen.

    Following the update on August 12, 2026 that added the AI opt-in feature, the Twitch website is not letting streamers use the "TransRights" and "TransgenderRights" stream tags. Whether this was intentional or just a bug, it needs to be reversed immediately. Trans rights are human rights.

15. Feature Request: Allow Twitch Affiliates to Create Teams Through a Petition System

    Currently, Twitch Teams can only be created by Partners, and Partners are limited to creating two teams. While I understand the intent is likely to prevent abuse and spam, I think the current system creates an unnecessary barrier for legitimate communities.

    My suggestion is to allow Affiliates to create Teams through a petition or charter system.

    For example:

    • A streamer starts a Team creation request.
    • A minimum number of active Affiliates (such as 5-10) sign the petition.
    • All signing accounts must be in good standing and meet minimum activity requirements.
    • Once the requirements are met, the Team is automatically created.

    This would shift the requirement from “knowing a Partner with an available Team slot” to “having support from an actual community.”

    The main purpose of a Twitch Team is to organize and showcase a group of creators. Requiring multiple active creators to support a Team request seems like a more direct measure of legitimacy than requiring involvement from a Partner who may have no connection to the community.

    This system could maintain safeguards against abuse while making Teams more accessible to genuine communities that want to collaborate and grow together.

    I’d be interested to hear what other creators think.

    Currently, Twitch Teams can only be created by Partners, and Partners are limited to creating two teams. While I understand the intent is likely to prevent abuse and spam, I think the current system creates an unnecessary barrier for legitimate communities.

    My suggestion is to allow Affiliates to create Teams through a petition or charter system.

    For example:

    • A streamer starts a Team creation request.
    • A minimum number of active Affiliates (such as 5-10) sign the petition.
    • All signing accounts must be in good standing and meet minimum activity requirements.
    • Once the requirements are met, the Team is automatically created.

16. Opt-out for "Shout" reminders

    Since the launch of Shout, most days I log in to Twitch I have a new, repeated notification about it: "You have X new viewers you can reach and send a personalized shout to." I've deleted 3 so far and one more just arrived.

    This is pure noise because I have no intention of using Shout on my viewers outside of some rare, special events, mainly because I've seen first-hand how intrusive it is.

    I've already turned off all 3 notification types for Shouts and I still get these (and I still get Shouts from other streamers, too).

    We need to be able to stop these notifications. Notifications should be important milestones, or actions you need to take on your account. Everything else is noise that we should have control over.

17. stream team

    Following all members of a stream team is so tedious right now. Either you click through each name, follow, and then go back, for each member, or you have a million tabs.

    My suggestion to improve this experience:
    - Add a "follow all" button on stream team pages

18. A "People who follow you" filter for raiding out

    I wish the filter options weren't limited to "following, "people of similar or smaller size," etc..I have to have already organically found people on Twitch to follow. I want to be able to share the community with people who have taken the time to give my channel a follow, but unless I gave everyone who follows me a follow back, then I will never know that one of my followers is live when I'm ready for another streamer to entertain the crowd. I just think that a "people who follow you" filter would be a nice addition that could allow Twitch streamers to give back and engage with their supporters.

19. Extend the length of time to view a stream VOD with stream streak

    ​I'd like to request that the stream streak timer be extended to a 48-hour window. The current 24-hour limit is incredibly unforgiving for viewers following streamers with irregular, early-morning, or "guerilla" broadcast schedules. It is highly disheartening to lose a long, hard-earned streak simply because of a timezone mismatch or daily life commitments. Furthermore, the system occasionally fails to register a view even when actively lurking on a stream. Extending the grace period to 48 hours, or implementing a monthly "streak shield" would make this feature far more rewarding and less stressful for dedicated community members.

20. Twitch "Raid Ready" Flag for DJ's

    Can we get a flag or maybe have the DJ logo change color when a DJ is ready for a Raid?

    We need a way to signal other DJ’s that are ready to take a break and want to bless another DJ.

    It needs to be simple though… not a huge change, suttle. There is an option to block Raids for 1 hour.. should be a similar for “Ready for Raid.” Blessings!
