1. Monetization System for Uploaders

   Twitch partners streams are currently monetized so I feel uploads should be monetized as well in some, ideally through ads and Twitch Prime.

2. Allow Twitch Affiliates to Join Guilds

   Please allow Twitch Affiliates to apply for Guild Membership. So many amazing content creators have a lot to offer to Twitch in increasing equity and participating in diverse events. Having the opportunities presented in Guild Membership limited to Partners further harms creators who have not met this goal. In understanding the necessity of Guilds, Twitch should also understand why the Partnership requirement can cause harm.

3. Disability program.

   Hi. I have an idea for disables to not worry about getting big donations and lose their medical etc. I am mentally disabled and I been wanting to stream. Why I can't is I am afraid one day if lucky if I get donations over 2000$ I will lose my medical and my SSI. A lot of people like me. Worst or not. We can't have our dream jobs or even games for fun! I have an idea of maybe once hits 2000 on earnings from subs, bits, etc. Rest maybe goes to a charity of choice. Disable people get thing called Twitch Bank. Meaning anything pass 2000$ goes to twitch and gives the streamer points to either donating to charity, trips, clothes, games, games currency and so on. Can't we make twitch a better place by helping others who can't make a lot least have fun without worries?! I want to support those like me. Make twitch bigger. Thank you.

   Currently, streamers need to maintain 350 individual paid subscriptions to qualify Partner Plus Program. However, I propose considering recurring sub-points as part of the qualification criteria. This change would make it simpler for streamers to meet the requirements while promoting growth and sustainability.

   Here's how it works: Recurring sub-points measure the loyalty of viewers who consistently subscribe at higher tiers. By including these recurring sub-points in the qualification criteria, streamers can focus on building strong relationships with their existing viewers and encouraging them to subscribe at higher tiers. This helps streamers achieve their goals and leads to more engagement and revenue for Twitch through higher-tier subscriptions.

   By making this adjustment, it becomes a win-win situation for everyone involved. Streamers get a more attainable goal, which helps them grow their channels and create stronger communities. At the same time, Twitch benefits from increased community engagement and revenue potential.

6. Allow Non-Profit Streamers to be a Twitch Affliate without tax/payment.

   Generally, I prefer my streams where I don't have to gain money (generally a good thing) but being a twitch affiliate also unlocks multiple different useful features for streams to make the quality better. So generally without making this complicated, I would like to be an affiliate without having to deal with my tax registration/paypal account considering im a non-profit and that's not my plan at all.

7. Mid level or Junior Partner Level

   Any thoughts to implementing a level in between Affiliate and Partner. I believe having unlocks like additional emote slots for example would lead to more subscriptions and higher views and an easier path to partner.

8. Have Prime Subscriptions count for the Partner Plus Program

   The only reason I use this website is to support streamers that I care about, and Twitch Prime is an easy way for me to do that. Having my subscription be devalued like this makes me not want to use Twitch at all ,since there's some obvious hierarchy in which Prime subs apparently don't count, and having them added would give Twitch Prime some actual value.

9. Partner Plus, Just Another Reminder Affiliates mean very little to Twitch

   So the new Partner Plus program rolls out, and behold, just another program obviously only for partners to separate the upper echelon of Partners in the Top 1% mentality that we hear happens all the time within twitch and at twitch events..

   What's worse is its beneficial to the steamers who literally have no need for it, other than padding their income a bit more... Yet here is the real kicker, Twitch consitantly talks about how they want to help creators succeed, and it feels like so much lip service, and honestly its nothing more than gaslighting..

   In the last 4 years, I have YET to hear of twitch rolling out a program or feature that specifically is meant for Affiliates, to help bolster them, improve their creativity or discoverability... Why? Because twitch sees them as only deserving of used handmedowns, why wont twitch invest in affiliates? It's been stated all over the place that squad streaming would be far more beneficial for Affiliates working with others to collaborate, and still, radio silence from twitch, just oh we will look into it, we are gathering data, we will let you know when the time comes for everyone to have it, its gaslighting, smoke being blown up my a**, and I for one and sick of seeing it, Affiliates make up a HUGE percent of the Twitch Streaming community and yet are routinely ignored, unless its something that Twitch can make a quick buck off, or unless its for partners too. I get it, partners are the hand selected elite gods of the twitch world in the eyes of twitch, or at least that how it feels like...

   When is the last time Twitch started up a panel for Affiliate representation? Does twitch actually check in with affiliates regularly? We make twitch plenty of money, yet we have slower access to support, and always the last to get features. Why? Twitch, did you mean what you said when you claim to care about all your streamers and providing opportunities for us to be creative and suceed? Or did you mean, only your partners and to heck with affiliates?

   It;s time to start focusing on improvements for the rest of your streaming base, improve discoverability, inprove features and functionality, improve speedy access to support, maybe consider adding an affiliate plus program, on top of the plethora of other things that the community sorely needs, and for the love of god, let affiliates create stream teams/guild teams too!!

10. Improvements For Twitch - Affiliate Care and overall revamp

    Hello Fellow Streamers and Twitch,

    I have been searching high and low for a way to reach out to twitch staff, because of concerns I have had with some things, and Twitch being my primary platform of income, this impacts me, as I know it does many others out there.

    Suggestions to Twitch:

    1. It's time to prove your not all talk, show love to your affiliates: a) Create an affiliate panel that can represent the affiliate community, include people with very small channels and larger channels, this panel should consist of at least 10-15 streamers, who will work side by side with Twitch staff to ensure that affiliates are being cared for, their needs are being addressed, and their content and creativity is being positively impacted. This should be non-negotiable. Twitch forces a contract for all affiliates as they do Partners, but Twitch staff are magical unicorns whom cannot be reached by Affiliates like they can with Partners, this is unacceptable and creates an elitist environment that only hurts the MAJORITY of money earners for Twitch, we might make less collectively than the top 1% of partner earners on Twitch, but we are many, and we contribute quite a bit.

    B) Start rolling out features that HELP affiliates, not hinder them. This is a no brainer, the more help and incentive Twitch gives to their megabase of Affiliate streamers, the more money they make as a company, and the more they can show the value of being an affiliate. Stop treating them as after-thoughts and sub par/unworthy streamers, and start standing up to help them.

    C) Squad streaming for ALL contracted streamers, affiliates, partners and partner plus alike, the feature is on the platform, use it for everyone contracted for the platform, plain and simple, its NOT difficult to roll out access to everyone, and only HELPS and in no way should it harm or cost much if anything to roll it out to every contracted streamer on Twitch.

    D) Step up and share the love with affiliates or release the claim to their content. You cannot expect to OWN the rights to a content creators work, but then offer them **** all in return, affiliates are some of the most hard working streamers on the platform, they put in the most hours, work the hardest to hit milestones, with hopes that one day they too will have a purple checkmark, since partners have no further milestones required to hit, they can afford a bit more leniency to things (not saying partners don't bust their butts either, but there is more drive and motivation for those with goals still to be achieved, this is just fact). So if you want to keep ownership, do something to actually DESERVE it. Prove that affiliates mean something to you, or else, keep watching people leave in droves for other platforms, who do not restrict them, or try to take ownership of something they do not have the right to claim, like Kick, YT, Facebook or the million other competing places to stream or post content, this, should be non-negotiable.

    1. Profit margins.... It's time to address the elephant in the room, Twitch has such an convoluted and wordy agreement, that tries to entrap streamers into an employee like relationship with ZERO guaranteed compensation to the person actually doing the work, THE STREAMER. The fact of the matter is, they had to roll back the sponsorship restrictions because it would actually breach the freelancer laws in many countries, and they would have been on the hook for paying wages to so many streamers in so many countries, it would have lead to so many loopholes Twitch would have been bankrupt, but here's the thing, the compensation tables are pisspoor. You need to revisit them, rework them, and properly pay the people who's content you try to own for 24 hours. Fix the cuts, offer 60% to affiliates or I am sure we could settle for 50% IF you gave them more features and help, fixed your ****** algorithms and enable your affiliates the EXACT SAME discovery opportunities that you afford your top earners. Scrap the ****** Partner plus program and just boost Partner earnings again, since ya know, they are your elite hand picked, pay them like they mean something to you, maybe then people like xQc wouldn't be dippin' so fast.

    2. Stop avoiding Affiliates, open up a proper support network that allows them to connect with Twitch staff, Partners and Affiliates are all independent contractors of Twitch, so treat them equally. Give them access to talk about their concerns, to know that they are worth something to Twitch except more money in the bank.

    3. Did I mention features and discoverability? I think I touched on it, but just in case my point was lost, open features and discoverability for ALL affiliates and partners alike, anything less, just shows Twitch they DGAF about Affiliates and we are just cash cattle for whatever they can milk out of them, at least that's how many feel.

    4. Be open, honest and transparent. Support your marginalized streamers, have diversity of POC, indigenous, Trans, Gay, Lesbian, non binary, older, younger and accomplished streamers, be it music, art, written or otherwise, celebrate the big and small streamers, be transparent about the **** going on in the background, be honest about infractions, be open to all your streamers and viewers... It's time to swallow the pill. Either take the pill of what you claim you are, or else swallow the lump of BS you have fed us and admit your not open and transparent.

    These are just starting points to improve Twitch as a platform, improve QoL, stop the mass jumping of the Twitch ship, and improve the overall morale around here, I have MANY MANY more suggestions. But these will suffice for now.

Achieving and maintaining 350 recurring paid subscriptions for three consecutive months is undoubtedly a monumental accomplishment for any streamer and community. However, I believe that there should be additional recognition and benefits for these individuals. In this post, I'd like to propose two key ideas for enhancing the Twitch Partner Plus experience: unique badges and access to higher-level support.

    The Twitch Partner badge is already a prestigious symbol that signifies a streamer's partnership with the platform. However, I believe that Twitch Partner Plus members should receive an additional, distinct badge to showcase their achievement. This badge would not only distinguish them from other partners but also highlight their community's dedication to maintaining high subscription levels.

    Twitch has a history of granting exclusive benefits to top streamers, like unique username privileges. For example, "xQcOW" was permitted to change their username to "xQc," which contains only three characters, while others must have at least four. To ensure fairness and consistency, I propose that Twitch Partner Plus members should be granted access to the same privileges as streamers under Twitch Premium Partner Terms.

    Benefits:

    • Encourages more streamers to work towards the Twitch Partner Plus program, driving growth and engagement.

    • Demonstrates Twitch's commitment to recognizing and rewarding content creators.

    • Streamers and their communities would have a visual representation of their hard-earned accomplishment.

    • Creates a sense of pride and recognition within the Twitch community.

12. Junior Partner Program

    There is an affiliate/partner program. Affiliates are required to hit 3 average viewers whereas partners need to get to 75. Why not add a junior partner program for those who who are pm their way and show potential to becoming partner? There are some amazing affiliates who hold a constant viewership and have the support of their communities but could use a few more eyes on them.

    Some of the requirements could be:
    - Must already be an affiliate
    - 16 unique streams
    - 40 Average viewers

    Some of the perks that could be offered:
    -Access to More VOD storage
    -Access to more emote slots
    -Access to squad streaming
    -A blue checkmark that upgrades to Purple when full status is achieved

    I think A change like this could re-invorgorate the platform. There have been many who became discouraged from hovering around a consistant viewershiep below the requirement threshold for Partner consideration. This would also inspire affiliates to climb to the next step and grow a community while achieving a milestone. While the potential perks may seem trivial, having access to more vod storage could allow for more content to be put out in such places as youtube, tiktok, instagram to drive people Twitch itself. These of course are just a rough idea, but the potential is there for something like this to succeed.

13. New Contract Level: Jaguar.

    New Contract Level: Jaguar. Affiliate would be for monetization. Partner for exclusivity and big contract. Jaguar for subs and bits and contract equal to viewer numbers each month but twitch keeps ad revenue, not exclusive. So my idea is adding a new mercenary like contract people could elect to try out without being exclusive, enabling twitch to still make ad money off non exclusive streamers/jaguars.

14. Limitation for Just Chatting if Affiliate or Partner

    The Just Chatting category must be limited to 2 hours per week per streamer as the name means everything and nothing at the same time.

    A better definition of the streaming content would leave more space for small streamers and at the same time better distribute the whole community across multiple categories.

    An Affiliate or Partner streamer must be able to define the quality of their content and consequently their categorization.

    Also, giving people plenty of room to express themselves (sometimes badly) on certain topics can lead to a lot of misinformation that can very well be dangerous.
    My idea, however, is aimed at a wider distribution of content and community to increase the possibilities, for small streamers, to be discovered which is not easy at the moment due to the attraction in the Just Chatting category (saturated).

15. Instagram Integration for Partner Applications

    Add in being able to link your Instagram and other social medias besides just Twitter and Youtube when applying for partner. Would make it so Twitch can see where certain people's audiences are coming from besides just those two platforms.

    Many - if not most - of us who are not affiliates nor partners stream strictly for fun - we do not make any money doing so, and that's alright.

    With that, please permit us to simulcast or tell us how to obtain "written permission," as outlined in the terms of service.

17. different criteria for affiliate for different types of streams / channel points for all, bits for affiliate?

    So, my channel is a Squirrel Backyard stream. I'm trying so, so hard to get to that 3/v/hr, which i'm about to try to show it's easy to do that if you try normally.

    why it's hard for this type of stream, i WANT to be going 24/7. Right now I HAVE to limit myself to 8-8 m-f and hope one day by chance I get a huge raid that pushes me past the 3/v/h. Then I have to game everything hours wise to make that 3 happen.

    For a gaming profile streaming 5 hours a week, easy. I'm going to try to make it happen on a 'gamer' profile here soon. I think any gamer who dedicates a bit of time and energy and a minimum of 8 hours a week can easily hit affiliate with no issues.

    For me, I want to be up 24/7. I am up for 12 hours a day, monday - friday. that's 60 hours I have to account for. And in THIS type of stream, it's just not designed for consistent streaming.

    MAYBE this just isn't the place to do this kind of stream anymore? Others who hit the mark doing this exact type of stream are doing really (imo) cheap/easy things (i also don't mean that as a down play to anyone either, i love every critter cam, i just feel like i can DO this REALLY COOL). I want to explode with creativity, but none of that happens till i get and can play with channel points, which is stuck behind affiliate.

    So, my channel is a Squirrel Backyard stream. I'm trying so, so hard to get to that 3/v/hr, which i'm about to try to show it's easy to do that if you try normally.

18. Disable the double-click for fullscreen/normal when in "Hammer mode", it is basically a bug that it is not done so

    Also this message was censored in the chat of the stream which had that feature:

    "And I just noticed when you click fast with the hammer not only does it switches to fullscreen but also randomly put you in theater mode, and so if you dont notice you get "stuck" in it"
