1. Allow Editors To Start A Stream Together

   As it currently stands, only the channel owner can start a Stream Together. I believe it would be beneficial for those with the "editor" role to be able to start the feature. This will allow the streamer to hand off a small responsibility while allowing them to continue to focus on stream without pausing or getting distracted. Potential side option is allowing streamers the ability to CHOOSE if their editors can start the feature or not as well for those that are not comfortable with the idea.

   Editors already have the ability to start a raid which is a very strong and useful tool. Stream Together should be added as well for editors to support the streamer further too.

2. Establish a Disabled Creators Guild

   For the past year, we have watched as the Twitch Black, Latin, and Women's Guilds have grown. Event recently, the Twitch Pride Guild was also announced. I would like to call for Twitch to create a Disabled Creators Guild to work with and uplift creators who have routinely been forgotten on Twitch.

   Disabled Creators are a growing population on Twitch, especially as many disabled creators recognize the easier form of work that comes with managing one's own schedule, working as much or as little as needed, and finding community with other creators; the latter point is the most vital for disabled folks, who rely on community for advice and aid. A guild would provide a vital network for creators to increase equity for individuals who are disabled.

   I would love to see a Disabled Guild, and would also love to see Twitch finally recognize disabled creators in July for Disability Pride Month. This guild could and should include visible and invisible disabilities along with mental illness and neurodivergence!

4. Stream Together should maintain watch streaks

   If you have watch streaks with multiple members of a stream together event, you shouldn't have to load each of the streamers individually to maintain your streaks.

5. Rotate channels periodically

   Based on who is following the rules correctly and sticking to their schedules also following moderation with their moderators and continuously put in at good streams I feel that person's channel should be rotated towards the upper echelon of people so they can be noticed as well instead of just the viewer count

7. TV-Style Channel Surfing

   While watching a stream in full screen, I’d like to swipe left or right to browse other live channels without leaving the current stream. The current stream would keep playing while I scroll through live previews, and tapping one would instantly switch to that channel.

   This would make Twitch feel more like channel surfing on TV and make discovering new streamers much faster.

9. [Experiment] "Hype Train New Kickoff Triggers" Feedback

   I've been instructed by Twitch Support to post my feedback on UserVoice. Please do not remove!

   I am currently (and involuntarily!) participating in a Twitch Experiment to test "new Hype Train kickoff triggers". It appears that instead of using a set number of support events (subs or 100+ bits), it will trigger based on chat activity.

   I cannot begin to express to you just how terrible of an idea this is.

   For the past 3+ weeks(!!!), I have had Hype Trains trigger out of the blue...when my primary supporters are nowhere to be found. As a result, I'm barely getting Level ONE Hype Trains, when I usually hit Level 5-6 consistently (at the 2nd hardest difficulty). This is a major hit to my revenue earned while streaming!

   I put a ton of effort into making my Hype Trains fun, enjoyable, and rewarding for both myself and my viewers. I have custom in-game Twitch Integration for the games I play, I have on-screen effects, I've got music that speeds up with every level reached...I'm really proud of my Hype Trains! When a Hype Train occurs, everyone is ready to party!

   But this experiment...it makes it feel like "oh hey, someone just chatted! Time to give the streamer money!" Which makes zero sense! Hype Trains should be a controlled event, not randomly out of the blue!

   So please please do NOT make this change, and PLEASE PLEASE REMOVE ME ASAP FROM THIS EXPERIMENT!!!

   And for future experiments, I really really suggest that you:

   1) Notify the people selected for the experiment! I thought this was a bug, and only found out days after I submitted tickets to Twitch Support!

   2) Give people the choice to opt-out of an experiment! Especially when their revenue is involved!

   I am a huuuuuge fan of Twitch, love the platform as both a streamer and a viewer. But the experience I've had with this experiment, combined with the awful interactions with Twitch Support regarding this...the last thing you guys want to do is turn your biggest supporters into your loudest critics...right?

10. option to remove raid viewer numbers

    hi,

    i'd like to propose an optional feature where streamers can decide to either toggle on/off viewer raid numbers when they go to raid out at the end of a stream.

    a lot of us streamers don't want to be constantly bombarded with numbers, stats etc. but the one we cannot hide/turn off is the raid number.

    it could be replaced with a "?" instead and then it would read "username is raiding with ? viewers" in the chat of the streamer you raid.

    not everyone would have to use it but i know it would help so many people including myself who want to eliminate the numbers from twitch as our goals are more aligned with other things.

11. Give Creators an Official @twitch.tv Email

    So here’s an idea I’ve been thinking about for a while, and I feel like it would actually help a ton with branding, professionalism, and the overall creator experience on Twitch.

    Twitch should offer creators an official email address like: CHANNEL@twitch.tv
    Something simple and clean that matches the channel name and represents the Twitch brand directly.

    Why This Matters
    Right now, almost every streamer uses @gmail or whatever personal email they made years ago for sponsorships, business inquiries, collaboration requests, etc. Being able to use an official @twitch.tv email would make us look more professional and also get the Twitch name out there more. Any time a creator fills out a form or reaches out to a brand, Twitch is right there in the address.
    It’s free advertising for Twitch and better branding for the streamer.

    Who Should Get It
    I don’t think it should unlock the moment someone hits Affiliate. Affiliate is a lot easier to reach now, and honestly, there are tons of affiliates who get it and never grow the channel again.
    Instead, this should be a milestone BETWEEN Affiliate and Partner.
    Something like:
    Hit and maintain X average viewers
    Reach X followers
    Maintain Affiliate status + 2FA + verified contact info
    Basically a “you’re on your way to Partner” type of reward. Something achievable but not instant.
    This would help give Affiliates another goal to work toward on the climb to Partner.

    Mailbox Size
    It doesn’t need to be huge:
    Affiliates who unlock it: 500MB–1GB
    Partners: 5GB–10GB
    Enough to be useful without Twitch needing to host massive inboxes for every streamer.
    (Forwarding support would also help keep storage light.)

    Email Format
    The main address would be: CHANNEL@twitch.tv
    And it would be awesome if Twitch supported + aliases, like Gmail does.
    So you could use something like:
    business+CHANNEL@twitch.tv
    collab+CHANNEL@twitch.tv
    All going to the same inbox.

    Extra Features That Would Make It Even Better
    Integration with Twitch’s stream calendar so scheduled streams and events sync right into the inbox
    Let creators choose their own signature
    Options to keep the email private, public, or business-only
    Built-in spam filtering so creators don’t get blasted with nonsense or harassment
    No monetization or paid tiers, just a legit creator tool and a perk for people who are taking their channel seriously.

    Community Impact
    This helps every level of creator:
    Small/mid creators get a professional way to talk to brands even before Partner
    Growing Affiliates get another clear milestone that motivates them
    Partners get a more robust inbox that actually supports high-volume communication
    Twitch gets its branding spread everywhere creators communicate outside the platform
    Brands instantly know the email is legitimate and tied to a real Twitch channel
    YouTube already has special contact systems for bigger creators.
    Discord gives verified servers vanity URLs.
    This is Twitch’s equivalent, and honestly, it fits perfectly with how creators already operate.

    Final Thought
    An official @twitch.tv email would be a huge quality-of-life upgrade for creators and a great branding move for Twitch. It’s simple, it’s useful, and it gives Affiliates something meaningful to aim for on the road to Partner.

    I really hope Twitch considers this, it would be a killer feature.

14. Accessibility for deaf people on Twitch

    I’ve been a long‑time Twitch user and recently became deaf, and I’ve realized there’s no built‑in way for viewers to enable captions on live streams or VODs. Right now, the only way to get captions is if the creator manually sets up an OBS plugin or a third‑party captioning tool, which means console streams like PS5 have no options at all, and viewers are left with zero ways to follow the audio.

    This forces me to be stuck reading the chat and watching the streamer’s facial expressions to try to piece together what’s happening, which is exhausting and still leaves me missing most of the actual conversation. This makes accessibility depend entirely on the creator, even though Twitch is a multi‑billion‑dollar platform that should be providing basic closed captions as a standard feature.

    Deaf viewers shouldn’t have to rely on third‑party accessibility tools or beg creators to turn something on; Twitch should move away from making accessibility the creator’s responsibility and add a native button that lets any viewer turn captions on themselves, so we’re not locked out of content just because the broadcaster didn’t enable it.

16. ​Stream Manager Feature: Dynamic Subathon Protocol (Modular 48-Hour Stream Cutoff)

    Hello Twitch Product Team,

    Currently, all Twitch broadcasts are subject to a strict 48-hour continuous streaming limit, after which the ingest server automatically terminates the session. While this safety measure effectively prevents ghost streams and mitigates server load, it creates a major disruption for creators running legitimate multi-day subathons, charity marathons, or community events. Restarting a live stream mid-event leads to significant viewer drop-off, breaks chat momentum, and interrupts active subscription trains.

    To solve this without increasing manual moderation overhead, I am proposing the Dynamic Marathon Protocol (DMP)—a self-service, automated system built into the Creator Dashboard.

    KEY FEATURES & WORKFLOW:

    1. Pre-Event Allocation: Before launching a subathon, eligible creators (Affiliates/Partners) can select "Marathon Mode" in their Stream Manager and define an initial continuous stream allocation (ranging from 1 to 5 days).
    2. Dynamic Session Lease: The ingest server updates its session lease based on the declared allocation rather than forcing a disconnection at the 48-hour mark.
    3. Creator-Driven Extension: If a subathon timer extends beyond the initial duration, a prompt appears in the Stream Manager allowing the creator to manually extend the session lease (+24h increments, capped at 2 extensions).
    4. Automated Safeguards: To prevent abandoned streams or wasted bandwidth, the system runs automated telemetry checks (monitoring chat density and video activity). If a stream remains completely static/inactive for >3 hours during an extended window, a confirmation prompt is triggered before auto-closing.
    5. Automatic VOD Chunking: Backend VOD processing automatically segments the broadcast into 24h/48h parts to maintain archive performance without interrupting the live feed.

    BENEFITS:
    - Eliminates involuntary stream disconnections during peak creator events.
    - Zero extra operational cost or human moderation needed from Twitch.
    - Complete protection against bandwidth waste and ghost broadcasts through automated health checks.

17. add amazon to "spendable balance"

    Currently, creators need to reach Twitch’s payout threshold before receiving their earnings. It would be useful if creators could optionally convert some or all of their available Twitch earnings into Amazon credit before reaching that threshold possibly through the spendable balance that already exists.

    This wouldn’t replace normal cash payouts. Creators who want cash could continue accumulating their balance and receive their normal payout, while creators who want to spend some earnings on Amazon could do so immediately.

    For example, if I had $40 in Twitch earnings, I could choose to use $30 as Amazon credit to purchase streaming equipment, while leaving the remaining $10 in my Twitch balance.

    I think this could benefit Amazon as well as creators. Smaller creators could make use of earnings before reaching the payout threshold, while larger creators might choose to spend part of their earnings directly through Amazon before withdrawing the remainder. This could keep more creator spending within the Amazon ecosystem rather than paying those funds out only for creators to potentially spend them on Amazon afterwards.

    Given the existing relationship between Amazon, Twitch and Prime, it seems like a potentially useful integration.

    Currently, creators need to reach Twitch’s payout threshold before receiving their earnings. It would be useful if creators could optionally convert some or all of their available Twitch earnings into Amazon credit before reaching that threshold possibly through the spendable balance that already exists.

    This wouldn’t replace normal cash payouts. Creators who want cash could continue accumulating their balance and receive their normal payout, while creators who want to spend some earnings on Amazon could do so immediately.

18. Let us claim drops after the deadline ends (as long as we have progress on them.)

    It would be a very nice addition to twitch if you let us claim our drops that we progressed on. It's not our fault if they limited it to 1 stream and that stream isn't on so you can't complete it, and then at the last day "oh yea you can watch any stream to get it" but most people are busy or already gave up on trying to get it.

    This is for drops that we only have progress on not drops we've never progressed or games we never play. (Drop claim history)

19. Add an optional static or hidden live thumbnail to help prevent stream sniping

    Feature suggestion: Allow streamers to replace their live gameplay thumbnail with a custom static image or generic placeholder while appearing in game categories such as VALORANT.

    This would make it harder for opponents to identify their match by scanning live thumbnails for the same map, agent composition or gameplay situation.

    Streamers could optionally use a misleading thumbnail showing a different map, or choose to hide the preview entirely until viewers open the channel.

    This wouldn't eliminate stream sniping, but it could make finding the correct stream significantly more difficult without requiring a stream delay or compromising the live viewing experience.

    Ideally, this would be an optional setting controlled by the streamer, preserving normal thumbnails for everyone who doesn't need the protection.

20. Live Stream Timeline / Roadmap Feature for Streams

    Twitch should add a customizable live “stream timeline” feature that creators can edit for each stream. This would allow viewers to instantly see what part of the stream is currently happening, what already happened, and what is planned next.

    Example:

    1. Discussing drama
    2. Ranked on main account
    3. Tournament watch party  3.1 Team 1 vs Team 2  3.2 Team 3 vs Team 4
    4. Tier list creation

    When viewers join streams late, they are often confused about what is happening or whether content they are interested in is still coming later. A timeline/roadmap system would improve stream organization and viewer retention.

    Features could include:

    • Current segment highlighted live
    • Completed segments checked off
    • Upcoming segments visible
    • Expandable subsections
    • Automatic VOD chapters/timestamps
    • Streamer ability to edit/reorder plans during stream

    This would especially help:

    • Variety streamers
    • Esports watch parties
    • Long streams
    • Tournament coverage
    • Educational streams
    • Ranked grind streams

    It would make streams feel more organized and help viewers decide whether to stay and watch upcoming content.
