2. Auto Generated Stream Schedule

   An Automaticly Generated stream schedule based on when you already stream on average, would give more accurate stream times to viewers, as well as save time among other things just a nice QOL over all

3. Health

   I struggle, and I'm sure theirs others that suffer with Fibromyalgia, and I would like to add, if Twitch could make this app more comprehensible, that would be great. Some people may not know much about this disease, but it affects you physically and mentally, which is severely problematic for us, and as far as streaming goes, this is what I'm aiming for, but it takes a lot out of us to build, dream and prosper.

4. Twitch dj changes as a variety streamer

   While I do understand the need for the changes allowing for a DJ category and also the perks of there being a DJ category - variety streamers who DJ and do other types of streams seemingly get left in more confusion. Being forced to separate your channel into multiple channels when you've built an audience on being a variety streamer doesn't seem fair - however if the revenue percentage fees for the DJs is channel wide and not based on categories or even whether you're a DJ who even plays copywritten music - it effectively means even non DJ streams my channel would do would also be subjected to the same fees even though they don't include music at all. I feel like there needs to be a better solution for that than making another channel when your existing one was built up for multiple things. It means effectively starting over for both things. There has to be a way to filter out funds generated per stream and take fees based on categories in the same way you can view your stats on how much revenue came through for each stream. If someone only DJs one day a week but games the rest of the time, it seems incredibly unfair that they'd either need to make a whole new channel for DJing and rebuild or choose to give up DJing or gaming to keep the same channel.

   I don't know what a best option would be, and I won't complain about the efforts to reach a somewhat reasonable solution for DJ stuff but I feel like the solution as existing does not meet the needs of the streaming community as a whole effectively enough. It creates additional confusion that is unnecessary, and it leaves those of us who don't only DJ and have a community based around that variety having to make some decisions that were never supposed to be part of it. The cool thing about twitch was the freedom to do whatever kind of stream I wanted depending on how I felt - sometimes games, sometimes DJing, sometimes just chatting. Now I have to pick a lane. No other category of streamer is being forced to make multiple pages or pick a lane. If I wanted an only DJ page for streaming I'd have paid the membership fee to stream on mixcloud or continued doing so in private server set ups as I did prior to pandemic. But also, I did come to twitch because I could DJ ALSO.

   Either finding a way to filter out categories that aren't DJ and exempt them from from additional fees or simplifying the DJ situation and making the DJ category a membership option with a monthly subscription that allows you to stream as a DJ unencumbered while also being able to continue being a variety streamer seems to be a better solution that could better benefit more people.

5. Custom Pride emote slots for all streamers

   There should be custom emote slots just for the month of June to the respected Pride flags. This should also include allies and every flag/flag aspect of LGBTQIA+ Pride month.

   During the month of June above the follower emotes should be slots for the respective pride emotes freely available to all followers. I as well as other creators have found it very difficult for ourselves to be expressed during the month of pride via our emotes. There is just not enough emote slots for small streamers to express pride through custom pride emotes.

   Yes, you could say that having the default twitch emotes are enough, but they don't express individuality with creators. We as creators want to express our pride and support through our own emotes.

   Twitch, you have been very supportive to the LGBTQIA+ Community and I hope that this is an idea you want to incorporate into your website!

6. Hidden preliminary results on polls

   Make polls have an option to hide preliminary results until the poll has concluded (or the viewer has submitted their vote) as not to make voters biased to a certain options (such as those that have a chance to win due to current amount of votes).

7. Stream Clipping Cancel Feature

   Bug, possibly with stream clipping.

   if you press the clip button in the lower right portion of the stream player, you are presented with eth clip interface. Begin to create the clip as you normally would, adjusting the timeline to highlight the important part of the stream, but do not name, or publish the clip.

   This clip still remains viewable (by the streamer, and person that made it only) - and it is only available to the streamer through the stream summary, it does not appear in the Content > Clips section of the Creator Dashboard. The Clip name is the same as the stream title.

   I'm not sure if this is problematic or not, but it seems like there may be countless abandoned clips living on servers inaccessible to most people. Isolating, and removing this erroneous data may improve the storage of the back end of Twitch Systems.

   Consider adding a button to cancel clip creation, or add JavaScript to cancel clip creation when the user navigates away from the page, or closes it.

8. Moderators are being PENALISED from getting Drops. WHY ?

   WHY are moderators being PENALISED from getting drops ?

   When someone who is a moderator is watching a channel they moderate at the same time as getting drops on a channel with a different game, THEY DO NOT GET THE DROPS PROPERLY. It seems to only award the drops at a very reduced speed or not at all. WHY ?

   I really don't understand why this is a thing. Twitch are actively trying to disuade people from moderating.

   Moderators OFTEN moderate for more than channel at the same time. I do understand that Twitch are trying to stop people from Drops Farming, but penalising the very people who try to make Twitch a better place, is ridiculous.

   Please make it so moderators DO get the drops even if they are watching 2 or more streams of different games at the same time.

   Moderators deserve to be REWARDED. Not PENALISED.

9. Disability Pride Month in July

   As a bisexual disabled person, I do love the support the LGBT community is getting. Wouldn't it be great to take it a step further? About 16% of the world population is disabled in some way, and introducing a feature on Twitch dedicated to Disability Pride Month would be a powerful step towards inclusivity and representation within the streaming community. People with disabilities are often underrepresented in mainstream media, including Twitch. By dedicating a platform to Disability Pride Month, Twitch can amplify the voices of disabled streamers.

   This would promote diversity, and help to educate those that are unaware of the challenges those with disabilities face. It could also help to promote accessibility in gaming and streaming, many games are unplayable for people with certain disabilities, and streaming can be made difficult as well- by spreading awareness about this, we can help to find advancements that will benefit all users of Twitch, making it a more welcoming place. Disability Pride Month is also a great time to celebrate achievements of those who have disabilities. It's an opportunity to highlight talent and break stereotypes.

   As a prominent platform in the gaming industry, and one of the main streaming platforms, Twitch can use this opportunity to show it's commitment to diversity and inclusion. Supporting Disability Pride Month sends a very positive message to viewers, streamers, and the overall community.

10. Automatically redirect viewers to random streams from finished streams

    Hi,

    A lot of streamers end their stream and don't Raid anybody.. and I dont mean just big streamers and I am not trying to make a point they should.. I mean how many times raid actually happen compared to just ending the stream.

    What if, when the streamer doesn't raid anybody, the platform would after short while automatically connect you to a completely random stream (or give you a pop up to do that). The feature could be disabled for streamers that would not want to have it enabled as I see many reason why some streamers would not like that. Imagine if 1000 people from a stream that just ended would get redistributed to different stream and instead of logging off they would be introduces to different streams and creators as well as staying on the platform watching something (note, i dont mean the whole audience to single random stream, but rather every user to a random stream or based on their previous likes and preferences which could be configured in options).

    • Some people log off the platform when their streamer ends stream, therefore this might help to keep them on the platform out of curisousity about a random stream.
    • Would introduce veiwers to new streams and options what to watch to keep them on the platform

11. Link Correct Streamers for Drop Campaigns

    When Klei Entertainment is running drops campaigns for Don’t Starve Together, the link to take you to a “participating channel” defaults to EVERYONE who is currently live in the Don’t Starve category. This is incorrect and misleading.

    Klei authorizes Klei Ambassadors only for drops campaigns. You cannot earn time towards a campaign from any live stream. It must be a Klei Ambassador streaming AND they have drops turned on.

    There aren’t enough Klei Ambassadors consistently live on Twitch in enough time zones. Those who are, often do not offer extended streams. This makes it very challenging for users to earn time for the drops. The users are drastically under served in this niche.

    Also, if you are a streamer AND a user looking to earn time for Klei drop campaigns, the catchall link for “participating channels” is very confusing. Non-ambassadors will not see the campaign available in their dashboard, but when you go to select a stream to earn time as a user, your channel can be included in the “participating channels” link.

    Please consider updating the links to Klei’s approved streams for drop campaigns. Or otherwise narrow the “participating channels” list, to ACTUAL Klei Ambassadors.

    Side note: I’ve attempted for many months to become a Klei Ambassador, or even just obtain basic information on the admission process, with no luck. The Ambassadors Program is invite-only and has been closed to new applicants for quite some time.

13. Add the Clip Editor functions to short highlights

    I feel like this is quite self explanatory. I would like to be able to use the editor to make a highlight in 9:16 format like I can do with clips, at least when they're short enoght for a twitch story / youtube short. It is annoying that I can easily make stories from clips, but when I want to share something where no clip was made, I'm out of luck and have to manually download everything and cut it by hand.

    Background: There is a strong trend as of late of people causing controversy or similar to generate interest and profiting from it.

    An example of this would be a streamer string up controversy on twitter or YouTube which results in a surge of viewers on twitch who in general just want to send/view messages in chat.

    So the formula is: be toxic or **** off a demographic = make more stream revenue.

    Feature: A button that applies per stream.

    This button when enabled will stop any revenue you generate from ads ect going to the stream you are watching. There shouldn't be a reward for this kind of behaviour.

15. Pre-Launch Feedback on the Twitch DJ Program

    While I am very encouraged to see the addition of a "DJ" category on Twitch, and by the work that has been done to negotiate a fair compensation and royalty framework for music labels and artists — at least based on the details that have been shared thus far on the Twitch Blog and linked DJ Program page — there is much work yet to be done to evolve this program to the point that it will be feasible and reasonable for DJs to actually opt-in without fears that they can continue offering a similar livestreaming experience that their fanbase has come to love without getting banned from the platform or suffering other untoward repercussions for having opted in.

    Based on what has been publicly presented thus far, the Twitch DJ Program seems to fundamentally lack an understanding of how the electronic music scene functions, and evolves. Which is admittedly confusing given that the Twitch handle of the platform's CEO is @DJClancy, but I digress. As with live musicians who test new material out on Twitch before releasing it or performing it out at live shows, so too do many DJs test out pre-release tracks on their Twitch streams. There are three categories of activity here:

    1. DJs who are not producers, but who know producers or are part of pre-release pools where they are sent tracks to "test" in their sets — whether live or livestreaming — to get market feedback and build a buzz for these tracks before their official release.

    2. DJs who are also artists who contribute their musical talents, such as vocals, to electronic music tracks, and who test them out pre-release for the same reasons as above.

    3. DJs who are also producers, who not only test out pre-release tracks as per above after the tracks have been finalized, but who test out various iterations of tracks before they have been finalized to obtain market feedback from their Twitch viewers, many of whom are also electronic music producers.

    These types of pre-release activity are not unique to Twitch, and are widespread in the electronic music scene in general, and have been for decades. In fact, it is a hallmark of "top DJs" who play live events, to include unreleased tracks in their sets, oftentimes tracks they have no involvement in the production of. It seems particularly odd that the Twitch DJ Program would explicitly outlaw the very activity that makes and keeps "top DJs" at the height of their popularity.

    It has been disheartening to see widespread fear and confusion amongst the many dozens of Twitch DJs — particularly those who are also artists and/or producers — over the past few days on social media. And as a viewer (and moderator for several DJ streamers) I am gravely concerned that Twitch has missed the proverbial cue point here and is about to drive some of the streamers I and many others love most, off of the platform. It doesn't require a great stretch of the imagination to guess where they will go, and I for one do not want that to happen. I also believe that Twitch has the collective brain trust available to it — within its staff, streamers and larger Twitch electronic music community — to be able to navigate this thoughtfully, tactfully and effectively to allay fears and build out a DJ Program that reflects the realities of the electronic music industry that we've been so fortunate to have and experience on the platform as an unexpected blessing of the pandemic.

    While I am not a DJ, musical artist or electronic music producer, I do feel it reasonable to say that I am part of the fabric of the DJ community on Twitch as a viewer, moderator and supporter.

    I watched >3k hours last year alone, and have easily watched >10k hours since August 2020 when I joined the platform, many of which have been of DJ streams. Per my last Twitch recap, I am in the top 10% of "Music" category viewers (predominantly DJ streams), and a "Top Twitcher", "Category Champion" and "Majestic Moderator".

    I've spent over $1000 every year since 2020 supporting Twitch streamers — predominantly DJs — with subs and bits, and invested hundreds of hours of my time moderating DJ streams. Outside of Twitch, I've spent thousands of dollars and invested hundreds of hours of my time trying to bring a larger audience to Twitch DJ streams in an effort to make it more sustainable for more DJs to derive a meaningful income from Twitch streaming.

    Lastly, I've attended live electronic music events and been an avid fan of DJs for over 25 years, and can say without question that Twitch has been instrumental in globally linking together fans of electronic music across the dozens of genres and subgenres thereof, to form vibrant, engaged and passionate communities of DJ streamers, viewers and moderators, including many individuals who actually contribute their musical talents to producing and releasing tracks that give us fans something to listen to in the first place. I deeply and sincerely hope that Twitch takes the time to get this right with an approach that reflects the true essence of electronic music culture before officially rolling out the Twitch DJ Program.

16. Twitch Guild for People with Invisible Disabilities

    Hi my name is Krillin and today I am writing this post as an idea for a new Twitch Guild. I've been on Twitch for almost 7 years and a partner for 6 and over those years the Twitch Guild program is absolutely one of the best ideas that I think Twitch has had. With this program being so new, obviously not everyone could be included into the Guilds, but I just wanted to present an idea for a possible new guild for people like myself and countless others. The Invisible Disability Guild.

    I'm a type-1 diabetic and have been for 22 years now and have always felt that it would be really awesome for folks like myself or w/ other illnesses to find one another and help foster a strong and welcoming community. Having a community like this for people like myself can be incredibly empowering as I'm sure most people seeking out streamers with said invisible illnesses want to connect and not feel alone or isolated with their illness.

    Not only that, but there are multiple months throughout the year celebrating people like this (October: ****** Cancer, November: Diabetes, Lupus: May) and I'm positive folks would absolutely gravitate towards potential charity events involving guild members and the rest of the Twitch community. There are already a ton of pre-existing events that benefit these groups, but just think of the potential impact Twitch could make if they had an official team/group of people to help push these events?

17. Let us make clips from the video highlighter

    If we create a highlight of 1 minute or less in the video highlighter, we should be able to save it instead as a clip instead of a highlight.

    The video highlighter is a great way of producing multiple highlights after a stream finishes. It is much easier to use for making multiple highlights of my streams than the mid-stream clipper because I can see markers, other clips, and create multiple highlights at once.

    However, highlights are less useful on Twitch than clips because we cannot create vertical videos for highlights, and they are not surfaced as much as clips. It would make sense, then, for better bulk clip creation tools to be available and the highlighter is a great starting point for this.

    you have black, latin and womens guilds. fantastic, what about everyone else? if the idea of guilds is to support your creators and make sure everyone is represented why did you ignore one of your bigger demographics?

20. Letting streamers rename and re-organize their emotes freely

    We really should be able to rename and re-organize our own emotes, without having to constantly remove/add them back to our respective emote libraries.

    For streamers that have a ton of seasonal emote variants, this would be super useful... I always felt like it's a bit backward, to always being forced of reuploading.

    Please please please consider adding those two features, I know a lot of perfectionist people like me would appreciate it so very much...!
