  1. Seeing how raiding is slowly becoming more prevalent than hosting, I would like to see a Raid button added to each creator's channel, much like there is a Host button in place. Currently, if a streamer wants to start a Raid on another channel, that streamer has to do it from his/her own channel/dashboard page, and there's no way to know what the recipient is actively doing unless the streamer pulls up the recipient's page. It would be nice to be able to pull up the recipient's page and click a single button to start the raid countdown (clicking twice,…

  3. In the recent Canadian Fear of Bill C-11 can streamers get an option to block their streams from being watched in canada/other countries to prevent our analytics being destroyed?

  4. What if @twitch communities could “Air Drop” Bits, Gift Subs, Donations etc. during a raid?

A Streamer starts a raid & a timer begins & the viewers from the channel raiding “Fill the Air Drop” (A Crate/Giftbox etc.) & AFTER the raid begins but BEFORE the support drops, Twitch sends an alert to the top of the chat of channel being raided indicating ”Air Drop Incoming!” w/ a countdown timer & pic/gif of the Crate/Giftbox w/ a parachute attached to it & when the countdown hits 0, ALL that support drops into the chat of the (small 🥺) channel being…

  5. Currently, stream teams work to categorize like-minded creators and friends under a certain game, genre, or theme. Nothing really links these creators together beyond sporting the same team name in their bios. Here are a couple suggestions to help promote creators of all sizes in the same stream team:

    • adding a single emote that is shared between all creators on the same team
    • increased channel point incentive for raiding other creators on the same team
    • instead of prioritizing highest viewership, adding a "featured streamer" option at the top of the team page to encourage growth for smaller streamers
    • adding a…

  7. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to view a user's username history, in order to maintain community safety. The feature used to exist via a third party and was invaluable for moderators on larger channels when processing unban requests.

Since twitch only logs old chat messages to a certain point, for older channels it can be difficult to find out why a person was banned previously. Much of the time we have to trust the user to respond with previous usernames so we can search our own mod messages/google sheets for past bans, but obviously this isn't reliable.

  8. Now that subathons and other long streams are trending on Twitch there's a need for feature to notify your followers that you're live during the stream!

Issue currently is that you need to stop your stream and restart it so the followers get notified that your stream is live! For example for subathon this is a big issue because you'll lose viewers when doing this.

Now my suggestion is to give streamer and their trusted mod(s) a chance to announce that the stream is live without stopping the stream! It could be available once in ~24 hours so it doesn't…

  10. I've noticed that many streamers won't Raid even though it's good for the growth of other streamers and also Twitch by keeping people on the app longer and more likely to see more ads.

If they received income from the advertising, which they are sending people directly into advertising so they should benefit from that, they may be more likely to help everyone, too, as another incentive.

  11. As title, viewer count isn't representative of chat count. Because of that Raids are usually smaller than the viewer count shown on stream. It'll help in some data analysis for some streamers.

  12. They could not give small streamers the verified one since, although they are active every day, they will not comply with a characteristic that is to have an average number of people who see them, until a large streamer sees them or den host, but if that never happens, you'll never get verified. Even if it has good quality, good audio and all that, what is the use if they will never be able to reach the verified one. I think they should change that rule and give the verified to a streamer who makes an effort doing direct every…

  13. Hello Twitch,

You tell us that using third-party sites to watch multiple Twitch streams at the same time is detrimental to our chat experience. I totally understand the sense of loyalty and fidelity we must have towards you, but to be honest, I expected better.

Watching multiple streams at the same time would allow us to stay in touch with multiple communities at the same time and not miss any highlights. So why not? Creating the Squad Stream system was a good initiative to follow several streamers on a common game. But if you are so keen to keep us…

  14. Problem: Current Hype Train emotes are rarely updated, unlocked quickly, and seldom used.

    Solution: The Community

Every Streamer picks one emote to be available globally in Hype Trains. Hype Train participants unlock one of the million+ emotes at random.

And then you lose access to the emote you unlocked after 30-days to not detract from the value of a direct sub to that streamer's channel.

In that realm of thought, this also works as a discovery feature. People might be curious about the channel whose emote they have unlocked - and go check them out. Perhaps they like the emote…

  15. Streamers should be able to restrict raids from recently created accounts (e.g., streamer-specified thresholds of 10 minutes, 1 day, 1 week, etc.)

This is useful to combat repeated harassment from people who create new accounts with inappropriate names to raid into channels (esp. of marginalized communities)

While restricting raids to only channels the streamer follows is a possible band-aid, this substantially hampers growth (i.e., cure is worse than the disease) when this account age restriction would solve the trolls we are currently receiving

  17. The Picture-in-Picture button does not work if I'm sent from one stream to another (being a raider).

    For example:
If the query ?referrer=raid is included in the URL and I click on the Picture-in-Picture mode nothing happens. If I remove the query, go to the URL, and click on the Picture-in-Picture button everything works as expected.

  18. I would adore to see a Flashing colored background on on the left where "Followed channel names are" during a train. maybe a green flashing background behind the name and a solid green when hype train is in effect or something similar to notify of other channels hitting a hype train. I LOVE supporting all of my friends but I always seem to miss being able to support the hype trains. I believe this would help promote the streams better.

  19. The button for reordering team members in the team dashboard has been missing for a while. The hover now only shows a delete button.

I'm using Brave Browser — I can confirm that turning off Brave shields does not bring back the button.

  20. I had access to drops for the game I play but there was a horrible release, I was critical of the release, and I got removed from the drops program as a result. Twitch should control drops and they should either be on or off for a game, not given to particular users to control criticism. Giving companies control over drops is basically a form of censorship.
