How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

  1. Instead of locking in the Streamer bar to one location or another, allow the user to adjust location of where the bar is located.

The bar I am referencing is the bar that has the Streamer's name, icon, viewers, etc. Originally it was in the lower area of the stream window. now its at the stream window.

  3. Implement a pop-up option in chat for the viewers to acknowledge as a way to keep their streaks when they're in chat for the required amount of time to meet the requirements of a streak for the channels that have them as a way to avoid random resets specifically when more than two tabs are open.

  4. Challenge another streamer playing same game (or) start in stream tournament between twitch streamers.

Ex: In FIFA, one streamer can issue a challenge to another streamer for a 1v1 or start a tournament between multiple streamers.
We will see random challenges and communities will merge together for that bit of time.

Small streamers will get exposure if they have skill and streamers will actually have a very diverse community.

Hence better recommendations, new streamers and twitch will actually be interesting.

  5. Add Knock to the alert system, and eventsub so that we can make an audio or other notification when someone knocks. It is very easy to miss the knock occurring if it happens during an intense game moment or other distraction. We should be able to include an auditory alert through the twitch system and through our 3rd party setups.

The toast notification is not prominent enough when it occupies the same space as hype trains, ad running notices, sales, pinned messages, etc.

  6. Idea:

Twitch should introduce an official stats page for streamers who choose to opt-in. This page would be accessible via a URL like twitch.tv/streamer/stats and would display detailed analytics directly from Twitch’s own data, similar to what is currently available in the Stream Summary and Discovery Panels on the dashboard.

    Feature Details:

Accessible Stats Page: The stats page would be an extension of the streamer's URL (e.g., twitch.tv/streamer/stats), showcasing data directly from Twitch.

Detailed Analytics: Include key metrics such as average viewers, unique chat messages per hour, total chat messages, unique viewers, new followers, and more.

    Transparency and Trust: Since…

  7. Currently, DJs in the DJ Program cannot properly utilize Stream Together with streamers not in the DJ Program. If they do, the streamer not in the DJ program runs the risk of a stream takedown. Stream Together was billed as a discoverability option for DJs (by Dan Clancy no less), so the inability to use this with the vast majority of Twitch renders this feature useless.

The request is to allow DJs and non-DJs to use Stream Together without the non-DJ running the risk of having a stream takedown or other enforcement actions. If one of the streamers is enrolled…

  8. In the old clips tab of the video producer we were able to see the exact date a clip was made.
This is now replaced with "last year" or "2 years ago".
Please revert it to show the exact date, it's way more useful to know that information.

  9. I believe having an amount of roll over time from the previous level of hype train would reduce the amount of risk of losing a Hype Train. This due to trying to keep it going for the longest time possible so more people can donate and be a part of the Hype Train. Having a certain amount of time means that it won't scale to ridiculous amounts and be manageable.

  10. How bad an unfair your business model is Twitch an unfair
The fact how you allow new viewers when searching for streams an games being streamed to be viewed before select it thats why il never get any new viewers.

Remove the thumbnails only show name of stream an description an the tags cause new viewers are cruel all because they can see i have no webcam so new viewers never select my stream they only select ones that do have webcam thats what new viewers do they search for streamers an games they never bother to click on streamers…

  13. Just like in YouTube where there are thumbnails, I think streamers should have the option of adding a thumbnail to their stream. As when I scroll down through the browsing page, I usually am looking for something specific and it can get a little awkward when I look at a random moment of the stream. I think it would attract the viewers and would make it easier for a lot of them.

  15. The new clip interface is indescribably bad and terrible. The previews themselves have become huge, which makes it extremely inconvenient to sort them and clean out unnecessary clips. In addition, they have become glitchy, which is why the clip controls do not always appear, and there are no full-screen mode buttons at all. Please return the old clip interface, or try using your new interface yourself - I do not believe that testers could approve of THIS.

  16. While I am very encouraged to see the addition of a "DJ" category on Twitch, and by the work that has been done to negotiate a fair compensation and royalty framework for music labels and artists — at least based on the details that have been shared thus far on the Twitch Blog and linked DJ Program page — there is much work yet to be done to evolve this program to the point that it will be feasible and reasonable for DJs to actually opt-in without fears that they can continue offering a similar livestreaming experience that their fanbase…

  17. This is more of what I think will improve the experience of it:

    1-Being obs dockable

2-Displaying easy to follow tutorials within the feature, maybe streamers sharing their experience with it

3-Hype trains getting combined just like the chat rooms
(I don't know if it is implemented already, can't find anything about it)

4-Implementing special events for people that are part of twitch teams and stream together: Golden kappa hype trains chance increase; Emotes and Badges(not ai ones pls)

These are few of the many ideas there are, understand that I look forward to using it, please make it even…

  18. Cozy games are often indie projects and rarely get popular to the point that people are manually searching for them on twitch. I suggest we get a Cozy Gaming category so everyone can browse for cozy streams. Cozy gaming is a niche sector women and lgbtq+ people had to carve out for themselves in the industry and I hope with time it will bring more people in ❤🥺 As of right now, it's hard to find cozy streamers on twitch. I find most of them on tiktok because the algorithm makes it easier for me. I know we can have…

  19. If we create a highlight of 1 minute or less in the video highlighter, we should be able to save it instead as a clip instead of a highlight.

The video highlighter is a great way of producing multiple highlights after a stream finishes. It is much easier to use for making multiple highlights of my streams than the mid-stream clipper because I can see markers, other clips, and create multiple highlights at once.

However, highlights are less useful on Twitch than clips because we cannot create vertical videos for highlights, and they are not surfaced as much as clips.…

  20. It would be amazing if viewers had the ability to provide challenges to streamers. In example, a viewer has 10k Bitties and starts a bounty with a starting amount say 100 bitties saying "If you win this Valorant round only knifing, you'll get 6k more". The streamer has like 10 minutes to accept the proposal during which the bitties are on hold so they can't be used up.

The streamer gets the option to either deny the challenge in which case they only get the 100 bitties used for the proposal or the accept it and try doing the challenge.…
