People would probably be more willing to give you guys money if you didn't make the experience so cancer without giving you guys money. Why are there 3 minutes worth of ads every 10 minutes on the biggest streamers? Why do you guys have different values on subs between mobile and PC? Why do you guys make it so you can't skip ads, even though your competition does, FOR FREE? You guys are so behind and greedy it's actually pathetic. Enjoy Youtube streaming for less ads and a better chat experience.

Unhelpful ads I don't know why but for years, Twitch served me actually relevant ads for my demographic: woman gamer. Suddenly a month ago, it somehow forgot I'm a woman and has been giving me NOTHING but ads focused for male demographics, particularly sports gambling ads that are impossible to flag as not relevant.
Idk if they just don't understand that I'm NOT a man, but they do nothing change it, and it's making me angry.
Fix this, now.

Delete Ads Holy *, there are SO MANY ADS on this platform nowadays. Every stream - Ads. While I watch the stream, the screen resizes to show me an ad on the side. While I scroll through the suggest lives - ads every couple of scrolls. NOW they made it so we receive 3 ads at the beginning of streams instead of 2. Holy *. I’m cancelling all my subs and getting off this platform.

Streamer Banner Ad Toggle My suggestion is pretty simple. Give Streamers the option to decide between having a permanent rotating banner ad on, or fullscreen ads that disrupt the viewer experience. This way Twitch still gets their ad money, without Streamers having to intentionally disrupt their content to prevent tense moments during ad breaks, or viewers joining and having to sit through a variable amount of pre-roll ads, that may drive them away from the platform.

Reduce Ad ideas for discoverability Delay new ads if a viewer is channel hopping to help with discovery. Space out ads by category to avoid hitting the same viewer with 6 ads in 15 minutes, if they’re browsing. A discovery mode where ads pause while exploring new channels.
A 3–5 minute first visit window with no ads, to let you get hooked before interrupting. If you stay longer, then ads start normally.
Create a dedicated Discover or Random Stream mode that’s ad-free for exploration. Twitch could limit it to, say, 20 minutes per day. Just enough to let people find new streamers without frustration.

Ads above a specific viewer/sub count I streamed 2021 to 2023, had like 10-20 viewers and mostly all of them were subs. Now in 2025 I started again, more like completly new and I now got like 3-7 viewers. The difference is: I HAVE to force them to watch ads. Doesn't matter if it's preroll or midroll, but how should you grow as an affiliate if they leave because of preroll or because of AT LEAST 3 minutes ads to avoid preroll ad?
In 19 hours of streaming (on 4 days) I got 2 subs and made a "profit" of 1,15$ on ads and 0,10$ on…

Do Not Pause Ad Timer When Switching Tabs The ad timer, under no circumstances, should pause when twitch is not the active tab. Twitch may decide to insert ad breaks; but it is up to each individual to decide to expose themselves to them. Users should not be punished for muting ads and letting them play in another tab before returning to the website.
Excessive enforcement of ad engagement like this cannot be tolerated.

DONT GIVE YOUR USERS 3 MINUTE ADS EVERY 5 MINUTES THESE ADS HAVE BEEN STRAIGHT ANNOYING IF YOU WANT YOUR USERS TO NOT DECLINE AND GO TO OTHER PLATFORMS TO WATCH STREAMERS THEN MAYBE JUST MAYBE DONT GIVE "Streamer is doing a commercial break" FOR 3 MINUTES EVERY 5 MINUTES

Stop Side Ads from kicking me out of full screen view Whenever the ads that play along with a stream come up it kicks me out of fullscreen display mode. The ads are annoying enough but having to click the full screen button every 4 minutes because the Jurassic World ad played for the 400th time is really darn annoying.

Pre-roll ads are obnoxious. They make me leave the stream before it starts. Stop the greed on general ads.

A displayed remaining total ad duration, in combination or in place of the "(2 of 6 ads)" at the top of the screen. At this moment when ads are played you get a timer for the single ad you see. Next to the (<ads seen> of <total ads>)
A good addition to this would be a "total time remaining" counter for all the remaining ads combined.Right now it can be very off putting having a 30 second ad, and seeing that you still have 6 ads to go. You have no idea how long you're gonna be stuck in ads for. Does that mean we're gonna be stuck in ads for 3 more minutes?
Even if the next 5 ads are all,…3 votes -
Undo streak resets due to tech issues Having streaks with no way for streamers to negate a reset is poor form. If I have an IT issue that causes my stream to go down shortly after starting, why does my community have to be punished by having their streaks reset because they missed my brief moment of IT problems? Broadcasters should have some way to undo when Twitch resets runs.

Audio bug with ads There seems to be an audio related bug with twitch ads, at least for me. When setting the volume to 1%, after one ad segment finishes out of the list of ads. The volume doesn't stick to 1%, even if it is 1% and plays at possibly max volume

As a viewer, let us watch live shorts WITH audio while having a stream overlayed Like if you are watching someone's stream and then an ad comes up and you go to the live section to keep watching the same live with the full stream overlayed, it will be without audio. When you turn the audio on the live section on, it pauses the overlayed video. Let us watch the live shorts with audio while STILL watching the ads in the overlayed video so we can still support the streamer.

you are out of control, there are more ads than stream time, relentless ads enforcement is costing you viewers, its out of control and shows how little respect you have for your viewers

How does schema markup help travel SEO? Schema markup helps travel SEO by making your website’s content more understandable to search engines like Google. It adds structured data to your webpages, which improves how your pages appear in search results. For travel websites, this can lead to rich snippets like star ratings, reviews, prices, availability, and even itinerary details — all of which increase visibility and click-through rates (CTR).
Here’s how schema markup specifically helps in travel SEO:
Enhanced search appearance: Add details like hotel ratings, tour prices, or event times directly in search listings.
Boosted click-through rates: Eye-catching rich snippets make your listing stand out from…

Ads are not showing up cross region If i am streaming, and viewers are from a different region, i get no Ad revenue, even if they are not subscribed.
In the same way if I am watching a stream in a different region, i get no ads eventhough i am not subscribed and not using turbo. It seems to me like the ad generating algorithm needs to be reviewed so it posts ads for everyone regardless of their region, and then taylors those ads to the region

**** your ads It's simple **** your ads.
I just quit every time I see an ad interrupting the whole stream. It's a live stream platform and your ******* ads are blocking content that may never be seen again. Youtube a pre recorded video platform gives the option to skip ad after 5 sec, where you dont even miss *. Twitch is about interactions happening live, you may ask something to streamer, react to something happening live or just enjoy silently some action. But ads that cut off the stream make it cancer to watch. Make more pop ups left and right…
