Remove banners that promotes ad free viewing for subscribers if the creator does not offer that feature If a streamer does not offer ad free viewing, the banners promoting ad free viewing for that channel can be misleading. It would be frustrating to purchase a subscription based on the banners offer, and continue to be shown ads after that purchase.

Twitch Turbo ad on the bottom makes stream UI unusable I am okay with the current ad system on twitch, but these new Twitch Turbo ads that pop up on the bottom of the screen are not very well thought out at all. They shrink the entire size of the stream to make room and leave a giant black border around the stream i'm trying to watch, and then it makes the bottom part of the screen actually completely broken and unusable. If i report an ADs, i don't want to see it anymore. As a viewer, we have the option to "Report Playback Issue > Advertisement is not relevant to my interests".
Why do i keep seeing the same ADs that actually irritates me so much that i close the whole browser and just stop using twitch for the day...
Just make those reports work.
At least, give me a feedback via e-mail or twitch messages that may allow me to go through some sort of form to allow me to explain the situation and be able to live Twitch free and happy.3 votes -
Bit Thresholds to Trigger Subscriptions Certain quantities of bits above a certain threshold should automatically trigger a subscription.
For example, if I'm a viewer from the USA and I contribute 600+ bits that can be a trigger for a Tier 1 subscription.
This may be a feature that's opt-in for the streamer, to ensure that the correct ratio of compensation reaches both Twitch and the Streamer.

Annoying New Ad-Block Pop-Up Has Got To Go Ad-block doesn't even work on Twitch. Please, get rid of that annoying new pop-up asking about ad-block and pushing users to purchase turbo. It's extremely annoying for us second screen Twitch viewers and Ad-block is essential for modern day internet browsing.

None stop advertising 2 plus minutes What executive thought that putting full screen ads for two minutes saying the creator is away saying "commercial break in progress" thinking I want to use twitch premium. Seriously? And the replaying the advertisement over and over again for another two minutes if I wait or refresh the screen. Are you committing commercial suicide? Reduce the time of ads A 2min ad in a LIVE stream its the worst user experience ever. If you wanna play that amount of ads that are being played right now, it needs to be fast and under no circunstance take away the streamers screen.
I have been watching a live for the past half an hour and im getting 2min comercials every 6 minutes. Thats the type of thing that makes de users to quit watching.
Unbelievable bad experience.

Display how many ads were actually played in the analytics tools Currently you can either run ads manually, or have an ad scheduler play the ads. But ads are not always available to be played, and some regions may not get ads, or ads may not be played for a variety of reasons (viewers being subscribed, adblock, etc).
I think it would be great insight to be able to see exactly how many ads/ad time were actually played during stream in your analytics.

Toggle Option to Adjust Midroll Schedule Based on Manually Run Ads When ad length and frequency is set to manual, if the streamer triggers a manual ad break before their ad break would normally occur, the system properly skips the next scheduled ad break.
HOWEVER, it does not adjust the ad schedule to compensate for this new "ad time".
EXAMPLE:
1- Ads set to 3 minutes of ads every 60 minutes of stream.
2- 50 minutes into stream (10 minutes before the ad break would start), streamer manually invokes a 3 minute ad break.
3- The scheduled ad break at 60 minutes is skipped (as expected).

If you're going to increase the preroll time from 30 seconds to 45 seconds, let your users know and have them be skippable like youtube There has been no word about this from twitch, but after testing it myself as a viewer and streamer I've noticed that preroll ads are now 45 seconds long.
I am not tuning it at the tail end of midrolls, I tested this earlier today (10/31/2024 at 2:38AM Eastern). I do not have the ads manager on and I only run 3 minutes of ads during my starting soon screen to disable ads for the first hour of stream and let prerolls go after that.

Uninstalling Twitch - Live Advertising Platform Due to the quantity and disruptiveness of ads on this platform, I’m no longer spending my money or attention here. Treat users of your app better by running ads that do not interfere with viewing experience. Stop pre-rolls from running after stream crashes If I watch a minute or more of pre-roll ads at the start of a stream, enjoy the stream for 5 minutes before it crashes for a second, and I reload the page to keep watching, I should not get another minute of ads.

Is this a game stream site or an Ad Service I have gotten over 6min of ads when trying to view a new streamer. If there is a pre-roll of ads with a >30s of time or more I close your site and move on. So many ads your worse than cable tv i mean really is this an ad site or a gaming site. Keep up the great work of driving viewers away and hurting new content providers.

let ppl block specific adds from a list, e.g. very bad ikea add Give us a list with possible adds in the region. Maybe let us watch them on specific times as to not interrupt important moments on stream. But pls let us block an add (on said list) that's absolutely annoying. I mute/close/refresh spam until the **** add is away... Reporting the add just makes it show up more btw...
