Picture by picture video feed quality Currently if you have a stream open at let's say 360p and the streamer runs mid-roll ads or if you get hit by a pre-roll ad, the picture by picture video player quality isn't the same as the one that was set in the original player, the new player will default to auto which shouldn't be happening and it should default to the original quality option.

Make ads less greedy. Currently you have: stream joining ads, banner ads that pop up at the bottom of the screen, then ads the streamer can launch, then short roll ads that take over the stream, and then you have long roll ads, and if we are really lucky the ad loop that people get stuck watching until we can get it to stop looping, all of which can happen at a major moment in a stream. Stop Ads During Earthquake News Streams/Streamers Right now, we're dealing with the biggest natural disaster that happened to our country. Since we're living in a country with media blockage, Twitch is one of the few social media sites where we can get real news, especially for persons like me who are trying to figure out what's happening in foreign countries. When I'm trying to understand if my citizens are safe, I'm getting 3+ ads at least 3 minutes long. Please stop it for a while, at least.

GO Train Ad, insensitive for people with eating disorders. I suffer from bulimia and dont want to see and hear people vomiting. I live in Toronto, Ontario. I am 25 years old and have/had suffered from bulimia in my lifetime. I do not feel like is a unique issue, especially considering the demographic on this website. I do not know why or how, the GO Train ad go approved for this website. I would really appreciate not seeing that while I am trying to feel comfortable and safe.

Scale the ad revenue split depending on the number of ads From the latest blog post: "First, we’re updating the way disabling pre-rolls works for channels. Running three minutes of ads per hour in any way will disable all pre-rolls — they no longer have to be split into 90-second ads every 30 minutes."
I feel like this is not enough. I dislike pre-roll ads on Twitch, both as a viewer and as a creator, because they discourage checking out new channels. I understand that ads are necessary for Twitch, but they're not necessary for me, so I suggest giving creators four (or more) options:

Delay The Ads From Start Of Stream Stream Display ads should not be the first thing you see when entering a stream. It discourages watchers to stay and see what is going on when they are forced to watch 2-5 mins of ad content before they even get to see or hear the streamer. Please set a delay on ads when a new user joins a stream. Remove Scam/ pyramid scheme ads This morning the front page banner ad is for an NFT/Crypto scam.
There isn't even a place to click the ad to report it as inappropriate when it's the front page banner. Can you do better at vetting the ads you allow on the site? And do a better job at following up on feedback for inappropriate ads?
I don't want to have to see ads for religious groups, NFT scams, etc. but even if I report them, they still show up all the time.

SDAs (Stream Display Ads) only Allow streamers to opt for SDAs only, even if it makes up less profit.
For people who might not know, SDAs are banner ads.
Full screen intrusive ads have never and will never work, we've known this decades!

Can you please chill a bit I get 30 seconds mandatory ad after refreshing stream which froze and after refreshing another 30 second ad. Please use banner ads instead of random midrolls Nobody wants to watch random ads that block out the stream. Picture-in-picture doesn't work if we only see but not hear the stream during ads. Banners would solve the problem - you get to give us more ads but the stream doesn't get interrupted. I repeat: nobody needs random ads that block the stream. it's not only disruptive for the viewers, but also for the streamer. bad idea, really.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

Make it possible to review the ad incentive agreement per month Currently the only way to review ad incentive agreements per month is by taking a screen shot and comparing it to the revenue stats for ones Twitch channel.
However if there ever is a dispute between payouts and incentive agreement, relying on screenshots is going to be a weak argument (since they can easily be photo shopped).
Making it possible to view past ad incentive agreements would benefit transparency and would help if there ever was any kind of dispute.

Pause ad-incentive program Allow enrolment in the program to be paused and then resumed as necessary, rather then the current option which is just to remove yourself from the program for the current month. The reason I would find this useful is that once a month I do a tournament stream and ads are extra intrusive in this setting and trying to fit them around the content is just another thing to do during a busy stream.

STREAMERS CANT RESPOND TO FIRST COMMENTERS IF THEY RECIEVE ADS RIGHT AWAY Streamers receive notifications when a viewer comments for the first time. As a frequent commenter, I plan around this, but have often received ads directly after my first comment in small streams. Improve Ad Selection If you're going to barrage with ads using the same depressing, awful ad on repeat makes Twitch unwatchable altogether. You have to at least select some variety and some entertainment or creative value. And nothing that is an ideological push.

Allow "Ad Revenue Share Split Change" to be instant so I can immediately get the 55% split instead of 30% split Hello, Twitch!
Currently, when managing an ad schedule, when enabling it from a disabled state, I see the following message:

Selective ad viewing option I'm not sure this is the right place but I need to put this out there. There is a specific, local, ad that plays during every ad break. This ad includes multiple people pretending to vomit. It's so disgusting that I have to mute whatever I'm watching as the sound is actually stomach turning and it continues throughout the whole ad.
