   hi i love your site but i am not a fan of that yellow flame thingy staying in the follow channel box with the number of streaks by it under the name of your streamers if that makes sense. i liked it better when that wennt away. i have no idea why you changed it that is just confusing about if the streak is locked in or not. brfore when the yellow flame went away you knew your streak was sfe. it is also distracting for me

2. Moderate Harassment

   On September 2nd 2026, the partnered twitch streamer, channel twitch.tv/centralcommittee, made a call to violence against another partnered streamer, twitch.tv/hutch, during a livestream on twitch.tv. CentralCommittee was reacting to a clip of Hutch's, where he was expressing his criticism and dislike for Hutch. During this segment of the livestream, he made this statement directed towards Hutch:

   "In Ancient Rome, they would declare someone an enemy of Rome, as an act in the Senate. And they would say it was a moral obligation, for every Roman, to do them harm in any way."

   In the context of the segment, and the tone of the streamer, the intent is clear and incredibly worrying.

   Later after the stream had ended, Central_Committee deleted the VOD off of their channel, but this partner has made multiple calls to violence or used similar violent rhetoric on their channel in the past.

   At the time of writing this e mail, no action has been taken. The Partner has not been banned.

   Twitch must not allow this kind of language to persist on its platform.

   A partnered twitch streamer making threats of violence against another partnered streamer is clearly against not only Twitch's Terms of Service, but also violates Twitch's Partnership Program Agreement.

   This appears to mark a trend on the platform, allowing for open use of violent language, calls to violence or even threats of violence, against others. I urge for this to be escalated inside of the appropriate legal, moderation and safety teams at Twitch, in order to be properly addressed, due to its distressing nature and the troublesome precedent it sets.

   I will be cancelling any active Paid Subscriptions, Including Twitch Turbo, Individual Channel Subscriptions and Amazon Prime membership until action is appropriate action is taken and this user is banned from your platform.

3. Creators and Viewers

   I’ve been thinking about why people often seem more attracted to chaotic, unserious streams than to serious or intellectually demanding ones, and I think part of the reason may actually be built into the structure of streaming platforms themselves.

   A stream is not just content being broadcast by one person. It is communication between the creator and the audience. But today, the creator communicates through video, voice, personality, identity, followers and the entire visual space of the stream, while the viewer can usually contribute only through short text messages in chat.

   Even if nobody intends it, that creates a kind of emotional hierarchy: the creator feels like the “real participant,” while the audience becomes a temporary stream of comments underneath them.

   On chaotic or unserious streams this hierarchy is often weakened naturally, because the creator behaves more freely and the whole space feels socially flatter. But on serious streams the creator often becomes more formal, the audience more passive, and the distance becomes stronger.

   I wonder if this could be changed with something surprisingly simple: give viewers their own interaction layer.

   Not direct control over the stream, and not more spam inside the video itself — a separate viewer panel.

   Creators would have their side of Twitch, where they compete for viewers, followers and subscriptions. Viewers would have their own side, where they could build a following and reputation through the quality of their participation: good questions, useful answers, interesting arguments, ideas, corrections, observations or other contributions.

   A creator could still be a viewer whenever they watch somebody else. The distinction would simply depend on what you are doing at that moment — streaming or watching.

   This could create two equal social roles instead of one active role and one passive role.

   The most interesting part is that viewers could follow other viewers. If someone repeatedly contributes intelligent, useful or entertaining ideas, people could start recognizing and following them even if that person never streams.

   That would create a second social network inside Twitch itself: not only “Which streamer do I follow?”, but also “Which people in the audience do I trust, enjoy or find interesting?”

   And because this interaction would exist in a separate viewer layer, it would not need to interrupt the stream, trigger sounds, cover the video or create a flood of actions. Only the most interesting contributions could cross from the audience layer into the stream itself.

   I think such a small structural change could have a surprisingly large effect on the culture of streaming.

   Instead of viewers competing for a few seconds of attention in chat, they could gradually gain social value through what they contribute.

   And that might make serious streams feel less like a lecturer speaking to a crowd, and more like a shared space in which both sides actually participate.

4. more options to customize,"Channel Surfing", pls rework the "tag system"

   For example, more options to customize the Twitch page. The "front-page carousel" is great, but it’s annoying that it shows me VODs for things I haven't actually watched. There should be a way to turn off the front-page carousel or modify it so those VODs don't show up in my history. P.S. It’s really poor design that users from my block list can appear in the front-page carousel.
   More options for working with the tag system; the current system is too cluttered given the sheer number of tags.
   We users need the ability to hide tags we have absolutely no interest in—like English, German, and other languages.
   That kind of info could just be embedded in the stream overlay alongside the "Live" status and viewer count.
   Blocking tags is important, too! Why? Well, "a happy user is a good customer."
   Why do I have to sift through 200 streams I’ll never watch just because I don't like the stream style—tags like ASMR, VTuber, gay, LGBTQ+, NSFW, Furry,
   and others that feel more related to the streamer's sexual orientation than the actual content? And if the content is sexual in nature—why is it on Twitch?
   Finally, an idea that 90s kids will recognize: "Channel Surfing" I’d love the ability to flip through channels—categorized by main page, games, categories, etc.
   This only makes sense if we can block tags and prevent every channel we briefly check out from cluttering our VOD history;
   otherwise, the video and channel recommendations would get completely skewed.

5. Use more prominent and clearer promotion terms

   TLDR version - on the just expired Audible Dungeon Crawler Carl Chat badge promotion - use the term "live channel" more prominently on streamer page, on the Twitch.tv/drops/campaign page and the blog page that pops up when you click "About This Reward"

   If indeed, the badges only qualify for subs purchased on live channels, how hard would it be to include that on the same line in the drops/campaign line before the Summary description "Earn up to 3 Audible Dungeon Crawler Carl Chat Badges. Buy 1 Twitch sub for EnchantedBigBoiBoxers badge. Buy 1 more sub for both PrincessDonutPink and PrincessDonutBrown badges. Terms apply."? It's two or three words and there was lots of blank space after Terms apply.

   Likewise in the blog page, put the "live channel" requirement at the TOP of the blog post, not buried at the bottom in the official terms and conditions (live was mentioned only once in the entire blog). I clicked the blog post link to get more details about both the sub requirements and what I would get for an Audible reward and only happened on the official terms accidentally. I see now that "live was mentioned below the About This Reward link and the images but I assumed the blog post would be clear. There was lots of mentions of buying a new or gift sub but only ONE mention of "live" on the entire blog page and only in the official terms (which, be real, most people don't read)

   Perhaps also drop "while live" in the description on the streamer's channel.

   I quibble about this because several of my favorite streamers are on vacation and therefore I couldn't purchase new subs while they were live... Plus seriously, why did they have to be live? I can purchase subs when they are offline and Twitch still gets the benefit.

6. Stop making banners permanent. Stop making **** annoying.

   Stop making **** annoying. Stop giving INSTANT ADS the moment somebody starts typing in chat, what the **** is that? Stop giving us banners that won't go away no matter what we do, what the **** is that? I'm actually less convinced to buy subs because the "bonus subs" banner won't go away above chat.

8. Remove all generative ai training

   No one wants this. No one asked for it. It's a completely useless and idiotic feature that ruins the site. Nothing is good about it. The only smart decision is to remove it entirely.

9. Disable all generative AI, we the users and customers are fed up with this!

   A lot of us have seen the recent news about Twitch forcibly making everyone opt in to generative AI scraping on their platform. Twitch, if you don’t roll back this change, you will lose thousands of users (including me!) One of your spokesmen even said “If we made people opt in [to using AI] no one would opt in” (paraphrasing here obviously). Did you ever consider WHY no one would want to opt in to this?

   Reconsider these plans. And while you’re at it, terminate ALL generative AI features and content on your platform!

10. Twitch should not allow people to sub to non-partner or non-affiliated streams

    Stop letting twitch scam small streamers by letting people sub to them and not paying them out because they are not partner or affiliate (twitch.tv/psynsitive, i got 3 subs the other day and they wont pay me!)

11. Allow All users to Disable AI Training

    Currently only Content Creators can choose to disable AI Generative Training for their channel, a process which is not simply or straightforward because, as stated by Twitch and Amazon's fallman, Mike Minton, no one would opt-in if it werent an opt-out.
    As a viewer however, I do NOT want Twitch to use my comments as AI training for Amazon to sell or collect. I have no desire to part of this process, program or industry. As a paying custom to Twitch, I respectfully refuse Twitch and Amazon's right to my comments, and demand the ability to disable any AI collection of my content or commentary. This is not a negotiable point. It will lead to Twitch losing users, from which it gains its monetary value.

12. Disable All Generative AI On This Platform

    There is no excuse for Twitch to be training generative AI on its creators. This is an abuse of your users and an unlawful seizure of assets.

    Twitch's own Chief Product Officer, Mike Minton, directly stated that the reason it is on by default is because if it was opt-in, "no one would opt-in."

    If no one would opt-in, don't implement the service. It's painful that this needs to be spelled out to these fools.

13. Stop using your creator’s content for generative AI

    I will be canceling almost all my subscriptions and will cease use of the Twitch platform indefinitely. This new gen ai policy of using creator’s content for training is very disappointing to see. I will not be returning and will find other ways to support the creators I follow.

    Hallo, wenn ich auf der Twitch Appkanäle anschaue und dann ein anderes Kanal schauen will, kommt immer schwebende Fenster mit der alten Kanal. Das stört so viel macht keinen Spaß mit den App zu schauen. Überlegen Sie mal sie schauen Fernsehen und wollen den Kanal wechseln und der alte Kanal bleibt klein auf dem Bildschirm und sie müssen das extra schließen. Jedes Mal ich will das nicht mehr in mobilen Applikation

15. Please have the default sort remember my choice.

    Essentially when I sort the main directory and game pages by number of viewers it swaps back to the algorithmic sorting. I have it set this way for a reason and it has become very frustrating to have to keep changing it as I visit twitch often. I'm not asking the default be changed globally, just when we decide how we want it sorted it stays that way unless we change it.

    Ability to turn off auto captions for clips for a viewer. Not streamer, not clip creator, but as a VIEWER!

17. Let us claim drops after they are "no longer available"

    Its incredibly annoying to watch enough for a drop, but then because it ends right after the tournament day i cant claim it even though i watched enough. so if i get a drop just before the deadline, but im not fast enough, i cant claim it anymore. make it possible where drops can be claimed after they arent available anymore, but the requirements are met, i have no clue why it isnt like this in the first place.

    Stream preview for hovering over all channels in the side bar, so you dont have to leave your stream window to "zap" through your next streams.

    Thought of it so many times by now, as a quality of life feature on the plattform.
