Please Allow Negative Prompts Under Content Tuning/Preferences The ability to add negative prompts would be extremely useful. For instance, I cannot disable the display of Vtubers on my home and browsing pages. As far as I know, there is currently no option to hide Vtuber channels. I do not want to see them on my homepage or while browsing any category.
Allowing for negative prompts would greatly enhance my viewing experience and make it more comfortable. I often feel involuntary disgust when I encounter most Vtuber channels, and I would appreciate having more control over content tuning.

Add ability to pre-clear music and/or add way to avoid the automatic dmca system Hi, I've noticed that a bunch of streamers are reporting issues with the past broad casts and properly licensed music still being claimed and claimed over again. Would it be possible to establish a system where content creators can just pre-clear their music. Aka. Upload their license contracts and have specific songs never claimed again?
Alternatively I could also imagine a "hold harmless" agreement based system that turns off the automatic claiming of content and forwards all complaints to the content creator (and/or their lawyers) directly (or just forwards the reporter to the streamer provided and Twitch validated abuse contact…2 votes -
Linux Brave performance degradation with Widevine plugin and software acceleration On my Linux system with Brave browser and server grade CPUs (96 cores), RAM (512 GB) and a Nvidia 4060 the steam causes the entire browser to become very slowly but steadily increasingly sluggish until the browser is manually restarted. At first only the video is lagging (audio is fine), then a few hours later it affects the entire site, and a few more hours later its the entire browser. DISABLING the Widevine plugin and hardware acceleration within the browser fixes this issue.
Downgrading the resolution temporarily works around the issue, but a few hours later the issue is again…

Schedule Bug The schedule currently prioritizes single instance streams over weekly streams. This means that when I have a weekly stream set up where the next stream is Saturday October 19, the schedule features tells users my next stream is on Monday because i have a single instance stream scheduled for Monday November 4. I have had to go in and remove my weekly recurring stream schedule and add a bunch of single streams to get schedule to properly say my next stream is on saturday.

Continue followage count when a viewer refollows a channel I've accidentally clicked unfollow instead of turn off notifications and now I'm just some channel noob over here.
Could it be implemented as to recognize a user who has previously followed and continue the count from the previous period?

moving chat to left side The ability to move the chat to the left side of the page so it's closer to my gaming monitor would be nice as a viewer.
My main monitor that I game on is on the left, and having to look to the far right to check chat is kind of annoying instead of taking a glance to the right, especially when trying to mod while gaming.If would be nice if we could swap the chat with the menu bar and set it to be permanent in settings.

FIX THE HYPERLINK/HTLM MARKDOWN FOR MOBILE BROWSERS So this seems to be a common request but it is not being taken seriously. Most people do not have the app and will click the link FROM THEIR PHONE and be directed to twitch via their mobile browser. From there, if they go to any streamer's About page and they have any hyperlink markdowns (or what ever the correct term is), they are assulted with the WHOLE URL of the thing the streamer is linking out to and it is VERY unplesant. This is STILL going on and it is almost September 2024.

Multiple category options So I would be going through my favorite categories, no one is playing said game. I proceed to rummage through the Retro category, then find that same game being played, after looking through a ton of channels.
Since some aspects of category are more generic then others, it'd be nice if it was possible to have multiple categories available. For the streamer, that could potentially get more views, and for the person searching, could find what they're looking for easier.

Add A Social Post For All Streamers Add a small social post feature for all streamers (not just the verified and affliated ones) so that they can keep their followers updated on whether they're going to stream or not.

additional story settings I can give a whole list of reasons why I dislike stories on twitch. the main one is that it's like an ad pop-up for desperate attention seeking streamers and it makes me unfollow them because THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO REMOVE STORIES.
PLEASE give the user an option to not see any stories from anyone ever. no extra steps.
I took my time to give you feedback, PLEASE do something about this.

Clearer understanding of terms The terms for multi streaming are bit misleading in terms of chat usage because it states combined chat is not allowed but under the faqs for it it seems to be ok if for personal use. This is confusing as the term 'personal use' has not been defined to explain this clearly. I would like to see the terms updated with what is deemed 'personal use' to understand the guidelines better. This way we should not be punished or get warnings when doing multi streaming which now twitch allows.

Ban Pepe emotes! The character Pepe has been a hate symbol used by the alt right racist groups since 2016. Apple, Facebook, and other platforms have all banned its use. I'm so tired of adding the emotes to the ban list of my channel. Nearly at 1,000 at this point, which I know is likely a small amount compared to what is on Twitch.
