Merge "Home" and "About" tabs Information on the "home" tab is useful, but I don't want it to be the first thing people see when they come to my channel. I'd much rather they see the panels that I paid to have designed, and the information I put there specifically to be front and center.
I do like the information such as Recent games played, and the other channels to check out. I'd like it if there were a way to merge the two so that the information on the home tab is readily accessible, but NOT what immediately greets the viewers.437 votes -
new Layout gives me headaches hi,
I am in the unfortunate group that got the new stream layout with the title and all the information above the stream, not below it as it was used to.First of all, The tabs for video, clips, chat ... are no longer there.
But more importantly: The new layout gives me headaches. I cannot tell if it is purely the contrast or the fact that we trained our brains and eyes for serveral decades now that the information belongs below the video. I have to scroll down so the information is no longer on Screen to be able…

Stay connected to chat and keep it visible at all times on the offline pages Why would you get rid of the one thing that makes live content special just because the streamer is not online at the minute?
Lot of channels have chat interaction even when the stream is offline and this new interface makes it so newcomers won't know that there are other people in the channel chatting and such. It's also the easiest and fastest way to figure out some simple info about the channel via commands (!twitter, !socials...)

Switching between profile page and player should be more intuitive It's not very obvious to a lot of people that clicking the streamer's profile picture or name will toggle between the profile page ("home") and the stream player with chat.
I don't know how one would accomplish this in the current design, since it feels like this toggling functionality, while 100% necessary and important, was hacked in at the last minute. Nonetheless, people need an obvious and intuitive way to see that they can switch between seeing our channel home and info, and seeing the large player and chat.

Social links rel="me" When adding social links add the rel="me" option.
This can be used across web systems to verify users across platforms. Take mastodon as an example, having a link on twitch pointing back to my account on a mastodon server will show that I have control over both pages.

Folders Let us organize our followed streamers into folders or sections, it would help so much!
Example:
-Top could be favorited or starred streams.
-then folders or sections below such as "horror gamers" "art streams" "cozy streams" "met at twitchcon" etcThis would help us keep track of our MANY followed streams much easier and access everyone's pages better! It'd help with networking as well!

Allow users to drag and drop followed channels to place in a specific order I always have to go click the view more button to see the channels I watch mainly. Giving users the ability to drag and drop channels in the list in a specific order would be nice.

Make it easy to say I'm not interested in a category Users should be able to easily say that they are not interested in a Category so that they won't get any game spoilers

Channel main page I think that how we visualize the channel main page should be changed, for example in my channel I only see recent broadcast and recent categories streamed. It would means the world if followers could see highlights and other things too.

I want the ability to filter/block any category I want The ability to block political ideological categories. While I have no problem with people supporting/believing in things I don't, or that I don't care about, I come to this site, and PAY a sub, to watch gaming. While I know not everyone does, I still would like the basic ability to filter out what categories I do and don't see.
Now you may say, you can block categories... well no, you can only block SOME categories. Which further goes to show that your site cares more about pushing ideological and political beliefs on your customers than what your paying customers…

Spelling mistake In the norwegian version, theres a spelling mistake in the channel pages. It currently says "Atrømmer (game name) for (xxxx) seere", while it should say: "Strømmer (game name) for (xxxx) seere"

Currently Streamed Game (New Channel Design) Hey Twitch,
Lately I've seen that my Bot now has access to the upcoming new channel design. It looks very good (better than I thought) BUT I have suggestion for you guys:
Please overthink how the "currently streamed game" is getting displayed. In the upcoming new design it's so unpopular and small placed down below the username it's "nearly invisible". In the current (old) design it had a cover image and was placed perfectly below the player. That was a great spot!

Twitch Time A time displayed on the top part of the page of Twitch that doesn't change based on where you are but instead is a set time zones time. Creators can use this to let their viewers know, without time zone confusion, when they go live.

Quitar la reproduccion automatica de las transmisiones de la portada Deberian quitar la reproduccion automatica de las transmisiones que aparecen en la portada cuando uno entra al sitio web, es bastante molesto que cada vez uno vaya al Inicio se reproduscan solas las transmisiones recomendadas, al final uno tiene que usar otros metodos externos para bloquear esas reproducciones automaticas que son tan molestas. En lo personal nunca entre a una transmision que aparece en la portada, solo me causo molestia. Gracias

Twitch resets user settings every time the user opens Twitch. Insufferable! I mean. How about being like ANY other website on the planet and having our settings keep?
It's like playing a video game that has no save feature. You're telling me that there isn't ONE single gamer in Twitch staff? Anybody with an idea what a technology is would notice this as a serious flaw in Twitch's overall design.2 votes
