Notification for streamer and mods that a Staff person is present at the stream Very recently I noticed there was a Twitch staff account in a channel I am part of the moderation team. I had no idea what that was as until that moment I never saw a "Staff" subsection in the connected accounts page, and the mods team in there, myself included, have an ongoing concern on bot raids (which happened at least once), and also the fact that the streamer is a LGBTQIA+ person which unfortunately makes him more susceptible to suffer hate attacks/raids.
However, took me a while to realize (and some further investigation by the mod team) the staff…

Allow more movies into watch parties! (By voting/requesting!) I would love it so much if there was an option to request a new movie to be added to the available watch party list. or by popular votes but I think requesting is better!

Subscription-Based Licencing. Spotify, YoutubeMusic and other platforms are able to provide licenced music via a 'fee for service' model, with pricing typically around the $12-16 price point.
Twitch's platform adds another layer of 'complexity' here, in that the music played would be heard by more than the single user to whom it is licenced under a standard subscription fee. In almost all case studies for music on streaming platforms, the main problem highlighted is the plays/count and artists not being compensated accordingly.

More info in raid button I raid from the stream manager a lot of times, to quickly choose one of the people I follow. But in order to know for how long they've been streaming (and not raid someone that's about to end), I always need to open another tab, look for their stream, and check.
It would be very useful to have their uptime next to the amount of people watching them :)

Hiding a Stream from your Following Feed Currently the front page has an ellipsis "..." button next to each video thumbnail, allowing you to either report the streamer or tell the algorithm you are not interested.
I would like this feature on the Following directory as well, especially for Recommended videos. Also please add a third option, to "Hide" the thumbnail. There will be times where I don't necessarily want the algorithm to memorize this, but simply don't want a thumbnail to be shown at the moment. This third option is something competitor Youtube currently has.

Pause Watch Party Allow streamer to pause the video for everyone. Especially useful for Movies so you have have a break to go to the bathroom/stretch.

Banned Users should not get drops So when Drops are enabled, people are being toxic when they are just there for the drops, or just after they got the drops. Hopefully banned users shouldn't get drops so they are still penalized for what they did

Clip link display for common questions asked in stream Clip with link to post by the streamer or mod that would display in stream video part (not in the comments section). It would be good to be able to resize the link and move it to different parts of the display, so it will not cover part of the screen they want to be open. Make Command Center Available For "Normal" Streams It's SUCH an amazing feature and I could see SO much use for this for normal streams (like dev streams, where you could have one view exclusively on the code, or such things).

Fix Watch Parties in other regions when movie is available I can't watch movies which are available on prime video to me. I can see Tropic Thunder on prime video, and confirmed that I can watch it there, but cannot join a watch party watching that movie.
It says the streamer is "watching a title not available in your region", but it is available.
I tried to submit this as a support request, but nobody actually reads what's written and I just got an automated response about hosting watch parties the first time then giving feedback via uservoice this time.
Fix your support form, and watch parties.

It would be nice to be able to have a way to see who has unfollowed the channel I am not sure where to place this idea but here is my thought.
When I have an individual new to the channel that is willing to follow the channel I try to follow up on what got them to follow and got them to the channel.
It would be great to have a record or a way to follow up on those that have unfollowed so I could either track the data or at best reach out to find out why. This could be very helpful to refine the stream to make it better and grow so the content…1 vote -

Raid Blacklist/Whitelist Give us a way to set a list of streams we do or do not wish to receive raids from.
Currently the only options for limiting raids are
Allow all raids,
Only allow raids from friends, teammates, and followed channels,
& Block all raids.Occasionally raids from particular communities my prove disruptive for the receiving community, and we may not wish to take the step of banning the streamer outright. Being able to specify specific streams we do or do not wish to receive raids from would allow us a greater deal of control without resorting to the heavier step…

Twitch Team Bug There isn't a topic for removing yourself from a team. My account was added to a "stream team" without my permission. I clicked the remove team icon and received a message stating "unable to remove team membership". I believe this is a bug on twitch channel and should be fixed. Also I would like to be removed from this team my account was added to.

New viewer count algorithms are questionable and only allow two simultaneous streams I have recently tested your new viewer count algorithms and have found results that point to two simultaneous streams are allowed only... not a 'handful'(?) as you stated on twitter?
I believe this will make things impossible for the smaller streamers and hurt Twitch a little bit too in the long run.The smaller streamers are basically the collateral damage in this as most streamers on twitch have a slow moving all important chat until they get into the 100s of viewers. PLease allow us to set a portion of our proceeds towards our mods. Allow us to set a specific percentage of our monthly take from Twitch proceeds to set aside to give to our mods who elect to participate.

Consistent Catalogue I know some of this is at the mercy of Amazon Prime, but there needs to be some consistency in the catalogue available for Watch Parties. I can't go promoting a stream and then come the day of and the title is no longer available. At the very least, some kind of "expiration date" would be helpful. Now I have to completely overhaul my plans for our next stream.
