Preserve Pause & Volume/Mute Settings When Hosting If you have a stream paused or muted and a new channel is hosted, existing pause & mute settings are ignored after the host. If you leave a page up during the day or evening this can cause sound to suddenly start blasting from your speakers without warning. Please don't AutoPlay hosted channels if the open Twitch page has video paused, and please preserve mute settings.
Better yet, add an option in our user settings to auto-pause/mute hosted channels so viewers can manually opt-in to watching a hosted channel.

Could you please add a Fitness catagory? Would love to have a Fitness catagory on Twitch. Some of the people I watch on here live in foreign countries and it is amazing to see all the sights as they are walking around playing Ingress or Pokemon Go. Would be nice to allow them to just walk around and talk about their countries without having to be playing a game while doing so.

This is for games that are really popular that have both PvE and PvP aspects; seperate the two. As the title suggests, just seperate the two or have a way to sort it all out that way you're not having to dig through hundreds of PvE to find the PvP you're looking for.

Create broader game categories for franchises that lose visibility when split apart Titles like the Super Smash Bros. games, Street Fighter games, and WWE/WWF wrestling games often attract the same viewers, regardless of which specific game in their series is being played. It would be convenient for viewers and helpful to streamers to provide a page that groups these games together. These could be unique grouping pages similar to broadcaster teams, which would allow regular game categories to continue unchanged. Ideally, these categories should also appear in the game directory to make them more visible to potential viewers.

"Android iOS" Gaming section There is a gaming section for Apple iOS, why not Android iOS?
I have a Nvidia tablet that I would like to stream from, but most games don't have a gaming section.
It would be a lot easier to have a place where I could just stream any Android game and stay in one channel.
I'm using the "Games+demos" section for now, but I would like to use and official "Android Gaming" or something like that.
Thanks.

letting users look up streamers based on city, state and country add the new feature where if you type a city, area, state or country (like on Linkedin) to find streamers near us or in a country, city, or state we are interested in particularly watching.

Roleplaying Games Add "Roleplaying Games" as a blanket game that can be streamed to cover all the non-D&D games or ones played that are not using Roll 20. "Board Games" and "Card Games" is available. Tabletop RPG's should be among them!

Language Flags Add little flags for the country of the the language the channel is in. Too many times have I entered a channel that looks entertaining and come to find out it's in a language that I don't understand. This would help a lot! :-)

Ability to hide content/channels Providing 'personal blacklists' would give users the ability to hide content they're sick of seeing and enable for a higher quality browsing of Twitch. This would give users the option to hide content or channels that are purposefully clickbait or channels that they don't want to see reappearing when browsing for a stream. Channels that constantly use all caps in their titles are annoying and we should have the ability to blacklist them for our accounts. Same goes for many of the streamers who have 66% of the screen covered by their face or 'other body parts' and only 33%…

Change the Model from Game > Stream to Genre > Game_Genre > Game > Stream + Sorting options Hi,
Currently the model for viewing games in the directory is difficult to traverse as a user. I scroll through looking for quirky titles or just genres that I'm only interested in i.e. FPS, Strategy or DeathMatch, Horror etc and instead of it being this lovely categorized experience I feel like i'm on an endless scrolling journey.
As the title suggests, my suggestion is having the option to break the model into the following:
Genre > Game_Genre > Game > Stream
This way I can go from say FPS > Horror > SpookyFps3 > MrHorrorTV
Plus an additional nice option…

Add filter by country in the channels directory. It seems a good idea to connect viewers to streamers from their own country. cultural dependencies can be capitalized on, right twitch?

View all games in a series List all games in a series under a single listing, with sub-categories for each version. So "Pokemon" would be the game listing with sub-categories for OR/AS, X/Y, etc. Then all streamers playing any Pokemon game would be under the Pokemon listing as well as the specific game version listing.

Merge Languages Filters that are for a specific Country eg: Spanish (Mexico) Twitch should merge languages that have specific countries as a language filter like Español (Mexico) & Portugues (Brasil). In case of Español, there is no need to segregate them since we understand other Spanish countries perfectly fine, including Mexican Spanish. We are a small community (compared to English). There is no need to make it smaller.

Add Ability to Sort streams by language Could literally be added here in the channels page http://i.imgur.com/5w1iyXi.jpg
You even ask for the language in the dashboard when changing title.

Auto refresh for broadcast page. Hello. I have a suggestion that would improve my use of Twitch on PC. I am constantly refreshing your site in order to see if any of my broadcasters are live. I'd like to not have to do this. I wish that the site would auto-refresh on this page: http://www.twitch.tv/directory once every 10 to 15 minutes or so. Then I could be aware of who is broadcasting without the need to worry if I'm missing someone that I follow. I keep that page open in tabs on Chrome all of the time and I always forget to go and check…
