2. Add a "trusted viewer" mechanic, and allow streamers to report bot pattern

We need a better way to handle all the "Best viewers on" and "Cheap viewers at" bots. So here's my proposal:

   1. Add the ability for a streamer and their mods to mark a viewer as "trusted", that way those viewers can put links in chat.

   2. A "trusted viewer" could have a channel-bound badge, similar to VIP, that could be customized like a Sub Badge.

   3. If someone not marked as "trusted" sends a message with an URL, it should not show their message to others but shown to mods with a note and ask them whether to Allow, Deny, or Report Bot. Like an Auto-Mod.

   4. If they Allow, the message goes through as normal, and the mod responsible will see a reminder they can mark a viewer as "trusted"

   5. If they Deny, the viewer who sent it will be informed of its rejection.

   6. If they Report Bot, the message will APPEAR to go through, but only for the viewer who sent it, meanwhile in truth it was sent to Global Mods and Admins to investigate and append it to a list of "always block" patterns.

So, how do we go about Bot Pattern? Here's what I think:
There should be a global Bot Pattern list which streamers can opt in to via a moderation option called "Apply Global Bot Pattern Blocking".
The patterns should be almost absolute, so if a Bot Pattern includes "Best viewers on", any message that starts with that will be blocked, but if it includes in the middle of the message then it shouldn't. Capitalization shouldn't matter, so "best viewers on" or "Best Viewers On" would be blocked as "matches bot pattern".
Any message blocked as Bot Pattern would be shadow rejected, that is to say it would appear visible for the sender but not anyone else (except mods maybe), to make the bot "think" they did anything meaningful when they didn't.

We need a better way to handle all the "Best viewers on" and "Cheap viewers at" bots. So here's my proposal:

4. moderator only chat

would it be possible to have a moderator only chat integrated into mod view ? this is so moderators and the broadcaster can talk to each other if needed to help keep the community safe ? often mods especially in my channel ban people and the other mods are unaware of why it has happened etc i just think this could be a great feature if it was added ??

5. Live action reactions to chat posts/messages.

I believe, live actions chat reactions across the board will increase viewer/streamer interaction and make it much more likely for a streamer to check out a comment that is being highly reacted to whether negative/postive.

7. Fix these fake sightings because they're already annoying

Hello, I have a suggestion to make a system that will automatically block fake observations on channels during the last 2 streams on my channel I fell for this scam so to speak, because someone once bought me 600 observations and now 1200 everything would be fine if systtem twich did not count it as normal observations for example I unlocked several achievements that I should not get and my first achievement under the title “Build community” instead of 20 observations as much as I have is ******* 600 and when the system will update it will probably be there 1200. I like to stream and I do it out of passion and excitement together with a friend, but it's already annoying me, if such situations continue I'll think about changing the streaming environment for another.

10. Routed Donations - the way how to improve the chat?

I had the following idea on how to financially support Twitch and simultaneously motivate users in the chat. I call it "routed donations".

This mainly concerns smaller streamers, with around 100 people in the chat.

Often, I find that some fellow chat members are very helpful. And I have no other way to reward them besides gifting a subscription.

What if there were "routed donations"? Donations that could be sent to people in the chat? I could send money: 1/3 would go to the streamer, 1/3 to the helpful chat member, and 1/3 to Twitch (for example).

This would motivate users in the chat to be more active; financial motivation works like magic and would attract some new people to the chat.
Twitch would partially solve its problem with donations because this money would flow through its platform, instead of 3rd party providers. They would implement user wallets that work exclusively through Twitch.

Besides fostering a more engaged community, the streamer would have additional income.

Twitch could even venture into the world of financial institutions since every user would have a Twitch wallet. This could lead to some interesting possibilities (Twitch credit cards).

A long-term problem is the quality of people in the chat; what do you expect for free? Financial motivation would work just like it does on social networks, StackExchange, or Twitch itself. People in the chat would start putting in more effort.

What’s wrong with this idea? 🙂

12. I need a built-in translator tool that would be helpful for streamers who speak in their first-born/native languages outside of English.

A small streamer that I follow on Twitch only uses their native language, but needs help in reaching out to English speakers, since they have yet to learn English. I want a tool for international streamers from different countries, including South America and Mexico, that needs to be created in-house by Twitch, to allow their language translated into English, and for the chat to communicate in English, but can be translated into the native language for the streamers to see, without having to add a third-party tool. Also helpful, Twitch channels that were made to help reach out newcomers who want to learn English but also use them well into having to learn about Twitch in English, properly.

Too often do people in chat mistake the "Pin by" as the person that sent the message and causing confusion in chat.

15. Get streamer-bots names out of the Community chat tab

When you click that little "community" tab (image of 2 stick/ball people) it shows you a list of viewers in your chat. The bots have found a way to get their names on top of EVERY streamers chat community list (by putting 00_ASMR at the beginning of their name, or whatever). The streamer doesn't get unique views from this, doesn't get active viewers, doesn't get ad revenue, gets nothing out of it unless you're willing to sink to the level of going and self advertising in their chats. They're probably not breaking any rules, but it ruins the image and authenticity of the community tab. And it's a free way to advertise in other people's streams which should be something we can control.

Oh.. I guess we have to audit our chat community tab and ban them one by one? That works for someone like me who has 2 viewers but... cmon.
