  1. I've seen streamers getting strikes on VERY old VODs, but they can't access them to cut any strikeable parts. If you won't make deals or revenue splits, or anything else that would protect your only income, at least make it possible for people to protect themselves on old VODs with problematic music.

  2. Perhaps someone at Twitch HQ could use machine learning to identify partially exposed breasts from streamers. The are many streamers that do this for content, and it is not very pleasant to come across this when scrolling through the just chatting category.

Can this then be made into a Bot, so the streamer is "aware" of what is happening..

The machine learning component hopefully would not be very complex, but not sure how you would implement it on a larger scale (not aware of the resources you have available). Otherwise the low-tech approach would be a twitch staffer scroll through…

  4. Klip alma ayarlarındaki, klipleri etkinleştir seçeneğinde "Canlı veya geçmiş yayınlarınızdan klip oluşturulmasına izin verin." yerine, canlı yayınlar için ayrı geçmiş yayınlar için ayrı etkinleştirme seçeneği olur ise yayıncı canlı yayınlardan klip oluşturulmasını kapatır ve yayın esnasında oluşturulan kliplerdeki DMCA sorunu ortadan kalkar.

  5. Every game that is released is released with an ESRB rating determining its appropriateness for various audiences. Twitch already collects these ratings when they add new games to the platform.

Now streamers have the option to turn a "Mature" warning for their content, but rarely is a streamers content always Mature, or always all-ages-friendly.

Given that Twitch has this information, it would be a great help to many if depending on which category you are streaming to, it automatically enables or disables the Mature filter based on the ESRB rating of the game.

For non-gaming categories, some could easily be…

  7. I only use your player to "listen to music with the assurance that I will not skip the DMCA" and see this:

    Twitch Sound Track Music:
RL Grime featuring Jeremih and Tory Lanez

    Vídeo DMCA (Strike + Muted):
    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1022547948

Why? Check out the "Artists" who don't sell their Tracks to Record Labels and we'll take these upsets by surprise.

  8. I have come to understand that for streamers trying to avoid giving away too much information about themselves, they will get a PO Box 30-45 minutes away from their homes. Since twitch is in the Amazon family, it seems like there could be a service streamer could pay for to have mail go to a generic location in the basic region (could correspond to Amazon shipping locations) and then they could get items from user delivered with Amazon packages. That would allow the content creators to receive items in a safer way.

  9. I recommend adding a feature that allows a streamer to submit a link to a song/upload a song, and has the Twitch system check if that song is considered DMCA. If the song is not DMCA, then streamers can go ahead and use it. They won't be anxious about "testing" it on stream and potentially getting a strike. If not, then they won't use it.

Not every song is particularly clear cut based on research alone- there's a lot of haziness and this way we can all alleviate some anxiety about this together. Twitch worries less about going through VODs…

  11. Essentially this idea comes in three parts.

The first: Allow the streamer to specify for themselves whether their stream can be viewed by "guests" (someone not logged into Twitch).

The second: A user who has been banned should not simply be unable to view/participate in chat. They should not be allowed to view the stream whatsoever.

The last: User banned should be IP Banned from that stream. Meaning taking 30 seconds to make a new account to simply continue with the Stream Sniping/Harassment isn't so simple to do.

Stream Sniping for us Smaller Streamers is a terrible thing. I get…

  13. Hi, today I was at work and I have the right to go on any platform that is SFW when im free, so I often go on TWITCH.

The problem here is that I got a strike and almost lost my job because there is stream appearing at the front page featuring softcore **** (Obvious sexualisation while wearing as less as possible cloths).

I really like looking at streamers playing video games and also learning things, but your platform host NSFW content wich is weird for a gaming platform.
I can't explain how frustrating being talk down by my employer…

  15. I'm going to say this once, I want ALL body shaming to be bannable offenses. If I don't mention certain types of body shaming, please don't think that means I don't take it seriously or that I think it should not be included. I decided to make this post after finding out that you get emails whenever a report leads to action being taken. That means 95% of the reports I have made against body shaming IN THE LAST 2 YEARS have had no action taken.

Yesterday I unfollowed yet another streamer who didn't moderate body shaming in their chat…

  16. https://twitter.com/yungbae/status/1318698702752542721?lang=en
that is a link to Yung Bae on twitter stating that his music will be royalty free, and not subject to DMCA, which indeed does include his Collab music. I have muted audio in my stream despite this fact and that is inexcusable.

  18. Since there is really no appeal system to the enforcement process for certain offenses it would seem only fair for there to be some sort of warning system in place for when the system detects an offense. An enforcement system with no warnings and no appeals seems contrary to the best interests of both streamers and Twitch. There is no system to detect infractions that is infallible, and in this case, when an error is made Twitch loses not only a streamer, but the revenue that streamer generated.
An offense that warrants a permanent ban should be taken seriously both…

  19. Since the twitch follow botting has become such a pain , what if we add a simple accept/reject follow request for users who join in and wanna follow? Like on Instagram. This would massively stop the follow botting . And a UI menu for the streamer/ mods to bulk select a list of users to allow or reject which has been implemented for redeem requests already (like a check all and accept/reject) .
