Team badges for official broadcasts at the different eSport Titles I thought about making official eSports broadcasts more intresting with Badges of the Teamlogos that are participating, so the Chatters can show witch Team there are cheering for.
I know its not a big thing for many people but it could link up Fans of the same Team or over Orgboundry and the Chats of oh "i am fan of that team" wouldnt exist anymore. Fans of Orgless Teams or Solo-Players in Battle-Royale-Style Games could be united under an "orgless, free-agent or smaller team"-fans Badge.
If this gets implemented the Badges should get Updates once or twice a Year to…2 votes -
The new global twitch badges for certain channels aren't actually global They are clearly advertised as global badges, but once you unlock them they're only available for that specific channel. That defeats the whole purpose!

Twitch Badge for Legendary Women Any woman who has been part of the Legendary Women group should be given a badge specific to Legendary Women. It would be a wonderful way to showcase that they are part of that group.

Give streamers the ability to add temporary emotes I would like the option to add emotes that are available for a set amount of time. Often moments in a channel are centred around a game that may only be played for a month or so, and it's fun to have emotes that correspond to that! But those emotes maybe won't be needed in two months time as the moment has passed. I realised we can cycle out our emotes as needed, but it's irritating to have to remove an emote which may be in regular use by subscribers to add a flash-in-the-pan emote. I suggest we have a…

Please Start Allowing WEBP and WEBM Formats. They're Smaller! Hello Twitch staff!
Please start allowing us to use WEBP and WEBM for images and animations. I'm not just talking about emotes. I'm talking about banners and panels too.
These are substantially smaller file sizes for Twitch to host. It's a win for you and a win for us!
As a professional artist it's very difficult to animate with your file size restrictions. Please unlock WEBP and WEBM for us in 2025.
Thank you for your consideration of my idea.

update for social media badge Create a fourth stage for the badge for social media posts, namely, for a million total views, add a gold outline to the badge and make it visible everywhere, on any channel, not just on one specific one.

vip As a streamer and regular user of the platform, I believe the VIP badge is a great concept to recognize and reward loyal community members. However, the current benefits associated with the VIP status feel quite limited, which reduces its long-term appeal and impact.
It could be interesting to add additional exclusive perks, such as access to one or several emotes reserved for subscribers and VIPs (for example, 1 to 3 emotes, or even up to 5 if technically possible). This would give the VIP badge more symbolic and community value, while also encouraging viewer engagement.
Such a feature could…

Global gift subs / bits badges Bits and Gift Sub badges would have a much greater impact if they were global across all channels instead of channel-specific. Viewers invest real money to support Twitch and its creators, but right now their contributions only carry visible recognition in one community. This system underrepresents how much a viewer has supported the platform as a whole.
Reward loyalty by giving viewers lasting recognition that follows them everywhere.

Shared chat should show multiple channel badges When streamers use the Shared Chat feature, there should be an option to display sub badges for both participating channels simultaneously.
Currently, your "months subbed" badge only shows for the specific channel you are typing in. If you support both creators, you should be able to show both badges so it shows you as a supporter of the entire collab, not just one side.

Global "Retro" chat badge. Hey there!
There’s a tight-knit and very impactful community on Twitch that streams under the “Retro” category daily. We’re a dedicated community of great retro variety casters – streaming DOS, Atari, SNES, PS2 and everything In between. We have retro achievement hunters combing through old games trying to play them in new and interesting ways and unlocking Playstation-like achievements, and we have retro speedrunners squeezing frames out of their world records.
Every so often a game comes along and unifies the platter that is retro, which in this case is: "Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition." The game essentially allows everyone…

Founders Badge There are only 25 Founders badges. Can we get 50 or even 100 Founders badges?
Also the ability to better manage founders badges. Maybe to see the next 10 people who would be eligible and the ability to restore badges that were accidently removed. Also, to see how long people have been subbed for, even if they are not subbed at the moment in case they forgot to sub a month or had a problem with their payment.
Thank you,

social media badge being global the social media badges should be global because if we look at it its not the streamer that has accomplished the views on a single channel its the viewers and golbal audience on the social medias that have achieved it on the viewer's social media. so the viewer that got it should be able to show it off to all the possible people that has contributed to the badge. because all those people might not be on the specific twitch channel but could be on other channels.
