  1. When "Use Custom Badge for This Channel" has been selected, don't replace it with hype train conductor or gift leader badges. I don't want to select my preferred badge again my badge is replaced by something else.

  2. With the plethora of streamer and Twitch emotes out there, it makes sense that you as a user can have more control over which you can see & use. It could be that you still own bit emotes from streamers you've moved on from a while ago, as well as ones you no longer want to be associated with. These will always stay in your emote drop down menu.

On top of that, when a person who has their own emotes gets banned in your channel, it should be that their emotes are also banned from use on your Twitch…

  3. Recently follower emotes can be used on every part ofTwitch by channel subscribers, but these aren't sent to the Discord integration API so that they can be used on their respective servers

When you configure the Twitch-Discord integration the follower emotes simply doesn't appear on the Discord server

  5. Currently VIP badges are unlocked by concurrent chatters. Especially for smaller streamers it is very hard to reach a new level and basically the only chance to advance is by getting a large raid and hope that the raiders spam a raid message. My suggestion is to unlock one additional VIP batch (on top of the unlocked concurrent chatters VIPs) for each month being affiliate. This number is already tracked and would allow small streamers to VIP more regulars and also would remove the hard limit of 100 VIPs for very large streamers.

  6. Twitch and Microsoft have absolutely botched this recent Minecraft Promotion. I've had a stream on for upwards of six days now and still have not received the emote, but somehow I've received the cape redeem, which required more view time.

Please reconsider your infrastructure before running another massive promotion that thousands of people are going to participate in (hundreds of thousands of people?).

  7. I think twitch communities could get nice addition from having the ability to have custom roles with badges. Streamers could have some role and some amount of that role to give for people and because of course keeping this feature running isn't free it could be that if you want more roles and more people with that role you need to pay some small amount extra.
For these roles it could be nice to have ability to execute certain commands but this could be a feature that is implemented using twitch extensions (which to my knowledge could do this).
    The…

  8. Badge flairs are extremely difficult to implement in a way that fits aesthetically with different sub-length badges and thus many people opt to not use them. This loses a really effective way to incentivise and reward higher tier subs, meaning making a change that allows streamers more customisation of these badges is beneficial to the creator, their community and even Twitch's revenue as a whole. In place of flair, creators should be able to upload different badges for each tier at each month interval. This would, undoubtedly, increase the amount of T2 and T3 subs by making them more worthwhile.

  9. Please add webp as a supported format for animated emotes! Currently, the only acceptable animated format is GIF. GIFs do not allow for semitransparency, only completely opaque or transparent colors. My commissioned emotes have dark hair like myself, which blends into dark mode. To fix this issue, I added a semitransparent glow behind the chibi for my standard emotes, but this is impossible to do in a GIF. Pleaseee add webp as a supported format!

  10. This message is not about improving emotes. It is about improving your image amongst registered Twitch users concerning the restriction you place with emote use. Affiliation required to use emotes. If not, no emotes usage ! It's disgusting !!! Read my existing active Case #08202203. All my vented constructive criticism of this restriction is all there. Read it. Again, disgusting that Twitch management denies ANYONE the use of emotes no matter how inactive their channel is.

  11. We need more animated emotes for affiliated and partners. Cause I use 7TV buI'd id rather use twitch ones. Twitch ones can be seen by all and 7tv not.

Do 1 animated for tier 2 and tier3 subs and 1 for each bit tier. Also go from 5 to 8 or 10 animated for affiliated and 15 to 20 for partners or so. For me that would be less reason to use 7tv and I love the emotes from the channels I'm subbed to

  12. Allowing dummy emoji on Twitch can enhance user expression and engagement. Dummy emoji serve as a creative and lighthearted means of communication, allowing users to convey emotions and reactions in a unique way. By permitting these expressive elements, Twitch can foster a more vibrant and interactive community, ultimately enriching the overall user experience on the platform. This inclusivity contributes to a positive and dynamic atmosphere, encouraging users to connect and participate actively in the Twitch community.

  14. Raids right now send all viewers to a single streamer. Raids are supposed to be a way of "spreading the love", but all they seem to do is keep big streamers big, and small streamers small.

A way to change this would be to introduce an idea of a "shotgun raid" where the viewers will be spread out across multiple different streamers.

The streamer who was about to initiate the raid could select "random" "random in category" or "list" and then be able to select a list of other streamers, and then when the raid is initiated, viewers will be…

  15. Custom badges streamers can upload and revise once in a 6 month period to recognize viewers who participate in a stream of significant importance (i.e. birthday, charity, anniversary). Imagine an annual birthday celebration and anyone who participated in that celebration can claim the unique badge until it is reset by the broadcaster.

Another option would be to add a unique sub badge flair for viewers who sub, renew, or upgrade their sub tier during an event stream. This would be in addition to the tier 2 and tier 3 badge flair. It would be up to the broadcaster to ensure…

  17. The "watching without audio" and "just listening" global badges are genius, but a "CC" badge could be a really handy option to complete the trifecta.

    Uses:
    - If you have the stream muted, but with CC enabled (i.e. watching in a public place), so the streamer knows there may be some discrepancies between what they say and what you hear.
    - Shows streamers when they have viewers that want or require CC, which may be the nudge someone needs to get CC set up on their channel.

  18. Basically, I want to get into emote and badge making, but I have no venue to start, nil discoverability, and the site is structured to focus only on streamers and not on their artists... So:

    1. A Badge & Emote Artist could opt into it. This would open a special panel for their profile called "Showcase" where they can put some examples and an "Emote Shop".

    2. The "Emote Shop" could allow a Streamer to rent (for 30 days) the artist's emotes from there to appear among their channel emotes, being usable by both Followers and Subscribers.

    3. If the Streamer opts to…

  20. This is a proposal for additional emote slots for Partners to support Affiliates by raiding their channels. This feature would create a win-win situation for both parties. Partners would get more emotes to express themselves and attract more subscribers, while Affiliates would get more exposure and potential followers. Currently, Partners have access to 60 standard emote slots and 5 animated emote slots. However, many Partners feel that this is not enough, especially compared to other platforms that offer more emote options. Therefore, this feature would provide an additional incentive for Partners to stay on Twitch and grow their channel. The…
