I have created emotes for my followers - many have been approved - but all of the animated emotes and two of the standard emotes have not been approved for over a month. They are appropriate and just need someone to click an approval button. I am excited to share my work. Please approve them sooner. Thank you!1 vote
Let Affiliates Update Prefix
Like the title says why do we affiliates have to change our twitch identity just so we can change the auto generated emote prefix that is never close to anything we want but partners can just change it so freely makes no sense at all do better twitch.1 vote
Stream Team Emotes
Each stream team can have 5 emotes and each one is unlocked by being a sub to a member of the team. Each new sub to a team member unlocks another emote. Collect all 5 and you unlock a 6th.
For example, if a creator joins a team that has a nice (animated?) raid emote, they can then move their raid emote out of a more prominent spot.138 votes
Emotes unlocked by subscribing to multiple channels
It would be cool if multiple streamers could come together and create emotes that are unlockable by subscribing to both streamers.
For example, I follow two streamers, one has skulls/undead stuff as his emotes, another has squirrel related stuff. They stream the same game, are members of the same community. So, it would be cool if they could have multi-streamer emotes, such as undead squirrels that are unlocked by subscribing to both.
I think this would have multiple benefits, such as cross-streamer community building and incentivize more subscribing site-wide.1 vote
Timezone / Local Time Badge (Sun/Moon)
Badge that portrays a sun / moon that changes throughout the day to match the local time of a chatter. Would promote more personal greetings to new chatters and promote engagement in smaller channels. This can also cause an increase in subscriptions and start hype trains, etc.1 vote
We could Make an option to have a favorites emotes and not just frequently used. When on mobile it is a pain trying find an emote when you can’t search for them.8 votes
Chat command of /artists to list all people with the Artist badge in a channel, akin to the /vips and /mods commands
Allows chatters to see a list of Twitch users with the artist role in a channel without having to pick through emotes individually. This is consistent with the /mods and /vips commands and makes it easier to see who has contributed to a channels emotes where more than one user has done so1 vote
Give users the option to remove emotes from their list. There will be some that people won't want eg. bit emotes of a streamer they had bad experiences with, or the Hype train emotes pushing channel emotes with Hype in their name way down the list.1 vote
ALlowing Affiliates to Unlock Emotes
My idea is to give Affiliates the ability to unlock the 60 emotes. There are affiliates who have or had sub points to unlock more emote slots but since it's locked behind being Partner it can't be used.1 vote
Instant Upload Eligibility
With the new follower emotes, there is now a reason to aim for instant upload eligibility quickly. Or at least the need to prepare for it (e.g. by hiring artists).
However, nowhere on the dashboard does it say how many of the necessary 60 days one has streamed already, which leaves streamers to guesswork or long-winded calculation.
I assume you have such a stat on the program backend to verify the eligibility yourself, so would you mind making it visible to us creators?
Unofficial websites can't differentiate between days streamed as an Affiliate and those before.10 votes
Disable or sort emote categories
When I open the emote selector dialog, there are quite a few categories I do not want to use, for example “celebrate k-pop” or “hyperscape”, and they even appear above some of my subscribed channels emotes, which is very annoying. If you could hide certain categories, or even just reorder them so I could but the unwanted ones at the bottom, that would be great1 vote
A trophy badge for giveaway winners etc.
If a broadcaster runs some sort of competition on their channel (like a giveaway or if they are running races or something) the winner of that competition can be assigned a trophy badge which would be kind of like a temporary VIP. There can only be one person that holds the badge at a time, so if another winner comes along you can assign the trophy to that person and it is removed from the previous one.5 votes
More Tier emote slots for affiliates
While I know the slots for affiliates got bumped up to 9 within the last year or so, I still think the amount of slots for affiliates (when compared to partners) is incredibly unbalanced. Some affiliates can have thousands of followers, a dedicated community, etc. and still struggle to get partner - so it seems a little unfair to limit affiliates to 9 tier 1 slots when partners can get up to 60 emote slots. I wouldn't say it has to be a drastic/unreasonable number, but 15-20 tier 1 slots, or even giving 5 emotes for tier 2 and tier 3 (instead of just 1 for each) to make those tiers more valuable would be a fair adjustment. Thank you for the consideration.

Please remove the wink ;) Emote
In my opinion, the wink emoticon should be removed from Twitch. It is often used for pick-up lines, by people trying to show off, and by some just to annoy others. I hope others feel the same way and the emoticon will be removed. Thank you.1 vote
All partners get 1 global emote slot.
I think it would be a really nice perk if all Partners got 1 slot which would be globally available to all twitch users.
To keep the emote list from getting bloated by so many new emotes, perhaps the list would only show global emotes from partners which you follow, or perhaps they are only available to followers, but are usable globally.3 votes
Can you please separate channel badges from affiliate/partner status?
The recent changes made to the viewer count system are having a seriously bad effect on smaller users. It's not right to mess over 12mil normal users just because a few people were using bots to get into the top 3% partner rank most of us don't actually care about getting. With that in mind please separate ALL badges from affiliate and partner status. Earning the right to allow people to sub to you and it's badge should be an entirely removed matter after the inconvenience of the most recent change took effect. Be it for the sub badge dono badge or any other kind Twitch has deliberately gone out of it's way to stone wall anyone new to the scene to the point the rest of the system needs to be changed as well to restore some sense of the previous normalcy. People working hard to get Partner could still do so regardless of the few cheaters using bots to get fake views as there is no cap on the number of people who can become partner so this change was unreasonably heavy handed. It didn't actually do them any harm in the long run vs them just feeling it unfair they had to work hard and someone else didn't. The level of impact is to skewed. I'd rather pay Twitch $100 to get access to my badges and maybe a separate fee for channel points vs uselessly wasting time on a now broken advancement system. I don't need nor want affiliate. I don't need nor want partner. What I do want is channel functionality and the ability to fully interact with my community even if it is small.

Option to hide follower emotes in menu from streamers you no longer follow
I have follower emotes in my emote menu from streamers that I no longer follow for one reason or another. There is one I have even blocked and their emotes are still in my menu. Being able to remove/hide categories of emotes/certain streamer sections would be a huge quality of life improvement.1 vote
Make the Pride Emotes (Limited Time Event) Global Emotes instead
A while ago, there was a Pride Event which allowed viewers to collect Limited Time Emotes for Pride. Since the general idea revolved around being more inclusive, I find it odd that the emotes associated with it are exclusive to those who were present for the event.
Please change the Pride Emotes into Global Emotes so everyone who wants to can use them. <34 votes
Customize or Remove Founders Badge
For those just starting off streaming or those who have a very dedicated Founders base, it really disrupts the channel brand in chat and covers just how long they've been subscribed! A chat room full of 1st users can make new viewers feel less significant. I'd love a way to either customize or turn off the founders badge for my channel.1 vote
Other users can use my channel's animated emotes, but I can't
As title suggests, others can use my channel's emotes, but if I try and use it, it only comes out as text. It's not just my perspective either; other users see in chat the name of the emote, not the actual emote "e.g. 'itsnuc2FlowerSpin' instead of the animated emote" ... very odd bug!15 votes7 comments · Bugs · Admin →
