Allow us to Reorder the Emote Menu Currently the sets of emotes in the menu are locked into a specific order, which means you'll often need to waste time scrolling past emotes you'll never use in order to reach the ones you're looking for. The lists also aren't consistent across platforms; for example, my subscription emotes are directly below my recents on the desktop site, but are sandwiched between two sets of permanently unlocked emotes in the iOS and Android apps. (The ability to manually remove these permanent emotes from your account would also be nice.)

Let us delete, replace or hide old channels from our emote menu Description: The emote menu is completely clogged up with old channels that I either unfollowed years ago or never wanted to see in the first place (like old gifted subscriptions or toxic content creators).
The Problem: Right now, Twitch completely locks the emote menu so there is no way to clean it up. Old channels remain within of the list forever, regardless of unfollow, block or bans. This ruins the menu because it buries the actual streamers I follow and care about today, and it forces me to keep looking at content for undesirable persons.

Add a way to create a global list of favorite emotes Choose emotes from the list of all emotes currently available to the user and add them to a favorites list displayed at the top the emote selection pane.
Scrolling through lists of emotes is not user friendly and frequently used emotes do not satisfy the same need.
This would be a major quality of life improvement for desktop but especially for mobile users.9 votes -
Raider's emotes on top Viewers who are part of a raid will often use emotes from the raider's stream, but depending on the order of the emotes in the picker it can take a bit of scrolling to get to those emotes.
When a streamer raids another stream, the raider's emotes should show towards the top of the emote picker temporarily for a few minutes. It could be above or below the raided stream's emotes.

Allow user to remove streamer accounts from the emote picker I'd like to remove the streamer accounts I have no interest in, but received a gifted sub to. Too many irrelevant accounts appear when I try to scroll to the emotes I want to use. Just add a "hide" to the elipses menu.
The account could then "unhide" if I subsequently subscribe to the channel.

Let us archive emotes we no longer plan on using Please let us archive permanent emotes we've unlocked through various promotions.
One jarring example is the HyperScape emotes. The game shut down a year ago, and no amount of spamming HyperCrown will bring it back. Personally, I think I completed the set just by using the site, despite the fact I couldn't get into the game. What happens now though is, every time I want to use a "Hype" emote (eg. eavHype) I have to type in the full name manually because there's no way to break from "Hyper". Allow users to manage their favourite emotes I want to manage my own list of favourites - as the frequently used updates so slowly it's of no practical use. It currently still shows an emote that I haven't used for a year.

Pinned Channel Emotes Please for the love of all things good in the world, if you are a user who has their own emotes they should be pinned to the top to the emote picker (directly under the stream you are watching on BOTH app and web).
Additionally, it would be very nice to be able to pin specific other channels that. I might be an "edge case" but I have so many subs and the scrolling to fine an emote it a terrible experience. Yes, I know I can "search" but I often don't recall the name of the emote.

New Emote/GIF tabs makes selection area too small Since the latest update introducing the new Emote and GIF tabs, the layout of the emote picker on iOS (iPad) is broken. The tabs take up so much vertical space that the visible selection area for regular emotes is heavily restricted. I can't even see a single full row of emotes anymore, making browsing and selecting them extremely difficult and uncomfortable. Please fix the scaling/padding of the emote drawer.

Emote management for selecting With so many emotes, I struggle to find certain hype train, global emotes, or channel emotes because they don't always have easy to remember names. Scrolling through all emotes is slow. I would like a way to find appropriate emotes for the moment faster.
One idea would be to be able to add local text tags so I can easily find an appropriate emote.
For example, if a channel has Sweat emote but they name the emote :StreamerPrefixS: Typing ":S" won't bring up the emote. If I could add the tags: "sweat", "nervous", "scared" to the emote, I would easily…

So my suggestion is to limit the randomness to only allow not "owned" emotes, that would also be more honest because the twitch user/viewer now might feel robbed off hard earned channel points when the emoij picker gives duplicated emotes or already owned ones

pin emotes Instead of having most used emotes at the top - just let us pin our top favorite 15-20 emotes. My "most used" are not necessarily my favorites. This would make using my favorite emotes so much easier - especially on mobile.

Quick Emote Panel I'd love a streamer-activated quick emote panel. Users can click a small panel above the chat to send emotes, featuring the 10 latest used emotes. Inspired by cough, but I often tab out of games just to click a quick emote, while less frequently without the quick emote menu panel.

one or two additional tags per emote? It would be great if I had an emote that worked as both Sleepy and Lurk, if typing :sleep or :lurk both brought up the same result.

Option to toggle on and off tier 2 and 3 emotes modification It would be great to have the option to toggle on or off emote modification for Tier 2 and Tier 3 (as the viewer) as currently only the streamer can remove those modifications, and for everyone having a subscription at those tiers, and it can appear a bit busy in our emote picker from the subscriber point of view.
