Give users an option to not show certain emotes
Give users the option to remove certain emotes so they don't show up in chat, like hiding all the Kpop emotes

Any update on this? Would rather like to remove the emotes I unlocked through supporting my ex-husband's channel 😅

We’ve been waiting for Twitch to allow users to remove/not show bit emotes for years but they are clearly not taking action on popular feature requests. Too bad as I have stopped following and enjoying certain streams however I have to be constantly reminded of them via emotes - a form of VISUAL BULLYING - every time I look down the list of streamers as I select emotes to use in streams. TWITCH: Pay attention here!

Improving emotes on Twitch can greatly enhance the community experience by making interactions more expressive and fun. One way to improve emotes is by expanding the variety to reflect a broader range of emotions, cultural references, and niche interests within the Twitch community. Additionally, allowing creators more creative freedom and support to design unique, high-quality emotes can add personality and depth. Integrating animated emotes more seamlessly and offering better tools for users to customize or suggest emotes could also boost engagement. Lastly, improving the discoverability of emotes and making them easier to use across different devices and chat settings would help create a more inclusive and dynamic chatting environment. As a Twitch user, I would really appreciate having the option to hide certain emotes from my chat experience. Sometimes, specific emotes can be distracting or just not to my taste, and being able to control which ones appear would make the chat more enjoyable and personalized. It would be great to have a simple way to filter out emotes that I don’t want to see without affecting the overall fun of the community. This small feature could make a big difference in creating a more comfortable and user-friendly environment on Twitch. Visit https://consejosandroid.mx/youtube-2/ for more information

Improving emotes on Twitch can significantly enhance viewer engagement and create a more vibrant and interactive community. One key way to improve emotes is by embracing AI-powered emote makers, which allow streamers to design unique, high-quality, and visually appealing emotes quickly—even without graphic design skills. Custom emotes that reflect a streamer’s personality or channel theme help build a memorable brand, encouraging viewers to subscribe and participate more actively in chats. Additionally, integrating animated and zero-width emotes adds an extra layer of expression and fun, capturing viewers’ attention in fast-paced conversations. Ensuring emotes are easily accessible and compatible across different devices is crucial, along with supporting popular third-party extensions like BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ, which expand emote libraries and encourage community creativity. That's a great suggestion! Allowing users to customize their chat experience by hiding specific emotes, such as all Kpop-related ones, would enhance user control and comfort. Implementing an option to filter or block certain emotes can help users avoid content they find distracting or uninteresting, leading to a more personalized and enjoyable chat environment. I can recommend bathroom remodelling in conroe for their services. For more info visit https://bathroomremodelingconroe.com/

By not allowing us to remove unlocked emotes for streamers we no longer follow, it makes me not want to give people bits in the future.

They seriously need to allow this. It's not the viewers being mean about it or anything. It's just that if you follow enough streamers and have a ton of emotes it would just be very convenient to allow users to hide emotes especially if you have hundreds of them stacking up.

I have a 1k bits emote that I have permanently unlocked that I wish I didn't have any more. It brings a lot of pain whenever I see it. I'm reminded of how he manipulated my friends and I. I want to forget, but it's always there. (He no longer streams) Please let me archive bit emotes.

Please give us the option to opt out of global emotes (sub emotes) on our channels like during the beginning of twitch. Some streamers have common words as prefixes, so you can't just block the terms with a wildcard and many have headache inducing emotes that I don't want to see.

@horridspore87ttv - YES! I still don't know why this is not an option. There exists three vertical dots to the right, where you can report a streamer's emotes. Why not add another option to simply DELETE that streamer entirely? This would be solid GOLD, Twitch!

This would be amazing! I have to view an emote of a woman who bullied me on Twitch for months and I am so sick of seeing it, it really makes me anxious every time I scroll down the list to select emotes to use in channels. PLEASE make this option a reality in the near future. Thank you!
