As a streamer and regular user of the platform, I believe the VIP badge is a great concept to recognize and reward loyal community members. However, the current benefits associated with the VIP status feel quite limited, which reduces its long-term appeal and impact.
It could be interesting to add additional exclusive perks, such as access to one or several emotes reserved for subscribers and VIPs (for example, 1 to 3 emotes, or even up to 5 if technically possible). This would give the VIP badge more symbolic and community value, while also encouraging viewer engagement.
Such a feature could help:
strengthen viewer loyalty,
encourage active participation in chat,
and provide streamers with an additional way to reward their most dedicated community members.
The VIP badge could then become a meaningful recognition tool, complementing subscriptions, rather than being mainly a visual or moderation-related status.
I truly believe there is a lot of potential to further develop the VIP badge system, and that improvements like this could enhance the overall community experience on Twitch.
