1. Improved Editor Role

   A channel editor is probably the biggest role any streamer can give a person, but the channel editor can't do as much as they should be allowed to do. A channel editor should be able to do more than just create highlights, run commercials,etc. When a person is promoted to a channel editor, that means the streamer gives them their ultimate trust. So what should an editor be able to do, but can't at this current time? Here are some ideas:

   • Moderate the moderators | Just as any other broadcaster can, a channel editor should be allowed to purge/timeout/ban moderators who are not channel editors. They should also in turn, be able to add/remove moderators. There may be cases where chat gets out of hand with not only the viewers but also some moderators, instead of the broadcaster having to deal with it, the channel editor should be able to so that the broadcaster can continue with his/her stream and not have to worry about chat drama.

   • Edit panels | There are times where streamers want to edit their panels, but either don't have the time to or don't know how to do something in particular. A channel editor should be able to edit the panels the way the broadcaster wants. Maybe there was typo a that looks unprofessional or an outdated piece of information that needs fixing.

   • Submit artwork for partnered streamers | A new emote slot opens up for a partnered streamer, and maybe the streamer isn't in a position to submit a new emote. Why not allow the channel editor to do so for the streamer? That way the new emote comes in right away instead of having to have people wait for a new emote.

   There are other things that could be added to. Along side with this, an editor should have a badge of recognition. That way people know they aren't an ordinary mod.

2. main moderator

   Most streamers already have their main mods with which they communicate. Also often in big streams, streamers dont know all users in chat and who is who(does user adequate or how long user here). So i suggest if streamer wants he can create one main moderator in channel, that can mod(or unmod) other user.

3. Idea - Regular / Community Figure Role

   So this is my idea,

   when i watch a lot of streamers as well as on my own streams i notice that there are of people in chat such as other streamers, YouTuber's or community members that get recognised as most likely there viewer bases are the same.

   So, i was wondering if the Dev team would consider adding another chat role like moderators for people who are not there enough to mod but are easy to identify by chat members.

   Now i understand the streamer can just mod the member but after a while having too many mods can make your channel seem like a joke in a sense as well as have more mods than chatters in it.
   Would love to know what you guys think about this.

5. Include a timer on the dashboard to show how long a host has been active

   Pretty self explanatory - on the dashboard for a user, where it displays "Currently hosting X", include a timer for how long the current host has been on. Apart from helping to not exceed the limit of three hosts per half hour, it would be useful for me to know how long a channel has been hosted, to determine whether or not to choose a new channel to host. Thanks!

6. There should be a way for people to apply to become a Global Moderator

7. Add a new Role for other streamers in a channel

   Most Streamers I watch have honorary mods who are other streamers just so they stand out from other viewers, I suggest adding a new role for streamers to add their associates/friend streamers to so that it is more obvious for viewers to know that these other people stream

8. Chat badges

   it would be cool for a broadcaster to have the option to give a different chat badge to specific people in chat to show a specific role or important person in their stream. for example, mum/dad, bae, gf/bf, toxic guy in stream, creeper, troll of the stream, top donator, #1 sub, sub of the month, friendliest dude of the month, butt head, hehe champion, etc..

9. Create a note-box for saved notes in the Dashboard.

   Since the dashboard in its glory takes up a full monitor, would be very useful.
   
   Nothing complicated needed, just plain text box, and possible 4th column for wider screens.

10. extra chat roles for (charity/marathon)streams

    During charity/marathon streams there are many people involved. In chat they want to show that they belong to the organisers or hosts (examples) for the stream. The way they do it is by getting a modsword. But this has a risk for rouge mods. My suggestion is to add roles for charity/marathon streams like "Organiser", "Host" and maybe even "attendee". These roles will have a badge but less/other permissions.

11. Twitch Achievement Trophies

    General Idea:
    Earn profile trophy badges by completing certain actions with your Twitch account. When you earn these trophies, they will be displayed on your Twitch Profile page.

    Details:
    There are plenty of things that can be used to encourage good, diligent behaviour among viewers and streamers alike. It can also be used to spur on better interactivity among users as well as the Twitch website and/or events.

    Want to encourage security? Well, you can earn a trophy for enabling two-factor authentication.

    Want better user engagement? If you verify your email; connect your YouTube, Steam, etc; you can get a trophy for that too.
    Perhaps someone wants to stream for the first time? Maybe someone streamed every day for one week? A month? They earn a trophy for those.

    How about if you go to Twitch Con, you give them your Username and get a profile trophy for physically attending.

    On Twitch's side, want to encourage your Creative streamers? Run a contest for Creative streamers where they make art for these trophy badges. Verified streamers vote for their favorite and the badge gets used for an achievement. The Creative winner gets a unique badge for winning the contest.

    How about a Creative streamer making a physical Twitch Trophy?
    There are plenty of ways to utilize this and many more for displaying them on their profile. Either way, an enthused Twitch user would love to earn and show them off!

12. Following Newsletter

    Have a page where broadcaster can send out messages towards their followers with info about their stream (Changes/New Games/Teespring/...) Twitch doesn't really have anything were messages can be shouted towards followers. Plus people won't have to rely on other social media to stay up to date with news from their favorite streamers
