  1. It basically takes the stream times of the last 30 or 31 days and averages them to give a summary of when you stream. You can set which days are grouped together, so if you stream somewhere around 5-6 PM on weekdays and somewhere around 3-5 PM on weekends, then you can select Monday to Friday to be grouped together and Sat.-Sun. to group as well, and your stream times will show as 3-5 PM on weekends (or somewhere around that number), and 5-6 PM on weekdays. This is publicly visible, so that way it's an automated way to show…

  2. Since there are streamers and viewers from all over the world and therefore different timezones and googling said timezones becomes quite exhausting, why not introduce a "twitch-time(zone)".Have a clock ticking (and the date) in the corner or somewhere visible. This would for sure prevent any confusion with the starts of events or streams.
Someone is streaming and announcing in the title of the stream when they are going to switch to a different game in "twitch-time"? Just take a look in the corner and you're sure to not miss it. Which timezone becomes the official "twitch-timezone", doesnt really matter.

  3. I watch a lot of fighting game streams and fighting games are low numbers for twitch which causes pain for viewing multiple games at the same event. Some events have their own streaming team, such as Evolution (the largest fighting game tournament in the world), where they have their streams named Evo1, Evo2, etc.,
This weekend is a far smaller event called Frosty Faustings and they have unaffiliated people running official tournament streams.

We can increase Event stream visibility by having an Events tab on the front page with the name of the event. Clicking on the Event brings up…

  4. Subathons are something that many streamers do once or more per year to boost sub points or hit personal goals they've had. Adding onto the already available Events feature, being able to hold a special scheduled subathon event with a slightly discounted price for a subscription would be incredible for those wanting to hit their goals or unlock another emote slot. That being said, It would need to be limited to a certain number of uses per year so it's not super overpowered.

  5. I think this kind of feature would be really interesting and exciting for viewers and streamers. Streamers could press a button to split their viewers to groups of for example 100 people and raid random channels in chosen category or all over twitch. With big streamers getting tens of thousands of viewers, this would mean a lot of small streams would get exposure from this feature. I have noticed chat gets really excited when raids happen, in both the raided and raider channel. This kind of random twist would make it even more exciting and fun!

  6. Say the ability for a viewer to be able to press on tabs that show the games stats that aren’t visable without this said tab, the ability to open up the streamers minimal to view the full map, this would happen only on the viewers side, would have to be a two way thing, could go beyond with other features the streamer would like to allow access to for viewers, be able to view the partners in a said stream if they are in a squad (with or without the ability to see the other squad members pov, but just…

  7. I think it would be a good addition to Twitch if a Streamer could have two or more streams running on a channel at once while they play with other Streamer(s)

  8. Before raiding someone, it could show a video created by the broadcaster to introduce themselves to the audience. Whether it's a personal greeting, highlight reel, etc. The Streamer can have this video automatically play after the raid timer stops.
Of course with this functionality you should be able to make an option to ask the streamer if they want to show this intro video or not before a raid as well.

  9. So for example: I give a tier 1 sub to a viewer. The streamer should be able to gift 3 subs per month to any viewer they choose but the streamer can not get revenue from it. They get 3 per month and it resets every month

  10. Many use the events tool to as a schedule for their stream. It is tedious to have to continually recreate the events, especially if you stream daily.

  11. my idea is that mods are a backbone of the community on twitch and deserve a reward from twitch as most channels dont have the means to be very generous to their mods neither do moderators expect it often.

Therefor, i think it is a nice way to reward those mods by giving the streamer the option to award a mod with free channel emotes. restricted by subpoints of that channel, so, x amount of subpoints will enable x amount of mods to be given the full set of emotes that streamer has.

this way, a mod can feel rewarded…

  12. To create a command ( with toggle on/off) for streamer to use on their channel to prevent incoming host when about to end stream. I'm sure streamers have encountered getting hosted when they're about to end stream and sometimes you host someone whose stream has just ended. Suggesting that when the streamer toggle on this command (Eg. /endingon) , people who attempt to host the stream will get a pop up saying " the channel you're attempting to host is ending soon. Do you still want to host this channel ? " The command should also have a timer of…

  13. The new /raid feature is great for channel networking as hosting has always been, but both can be problematic for many viewers. It would be convenient for the User Settings page to be updated with a set of opt out settings for both raids and hosts. If a user opts out of raids, they will be considered to automatically click "Leave" at the end of any raid countdown timer. If they opt out of hosts, hosted channels will not load unless the viewer intentionally presses the "Play" button.

Raids and Hosting present problems for:

    1) Temporarily AFK viewers during the…

  14. if a channel host raids another channel it will switch your url which will delete chat history as well some channels have "This room is in 10 minutes followers-only mode." so some raiders can't raid

1 having the option of turning off raids for a certain channel your in so you don't get auto switched or turning it off completely for all raids because maybe you like switching to a different channel then join a raid.

  15. A streamer could 'freeze' its own channel. This means their sub will receive a notification (generic message) that they will not be streaming for an indefinite amount of time.
It will also 'freeze' the subscriptions of viewers so that they don't get charged during this period of streaming inactivity. The subscriptions would resume upon the streamer 'unfreezing' its channel, with the subscribers getting another notification (generic message).
The polite and efficient thing to do for streamers, viewers and Twitch.

  16. I appreciate that Twitch wants us to see a new feature, but once I've seen it, I'd like the option to close it. Otherwise it just hangs there, over the stream, and is annoying.

  17. I think a user-profile option to disable automatic joining of a raid would be a useful feature. Some channels have various reasons or incentives to staying in offline chat and sometimes you can't catch the whole stream and can't opt-out of the raid.

  18. In a similar way as to how you can add the game you are playing to twitch, so others can see, maybe have a section that you could type in the username of a fellow twitch user and underneath the video it has a Guest section.
So for those that stream that bring other streamers in, such as podcasts, or friends doing co-op streams they can promote their friends who also stream on twitch.
That way people who are entering the stream can check who the guests are and also click on their names and be linked to that person's…

  19. I'd love to be able to look at Twitch events and have an option to "use previous event as a template" for times, games, and possibly description. For many of us that stream the same game consistently, it'd be a great time-saver and encourage people to use Twitch events more.

Ideally this would be a drop-down or dialog that would pop up with previously-saved Twitch events, and would import start/end times, games, post images, or more. Specifics could be chosen through checkboxes for specific details.

  20. I would love to have my chat bot be able to show some emote love when a person subscribes. However, right now it seems I would need to sub to myself as my bot. It would be great if at least one bot can have a free sub like how the Affiliated streamer receive one sub.
