I would like to propose a feature that could greatly simplify category management for streamers. My suggestion is the development of a bot that automatically adjusts a stream’s category based on its current activity.
For example:
• If the streamer is playing Valorant, the category would automatically switch to Valorant.

Making platform-wide discount campaigns more flexible It would be great if Twitch continued to offer events like the discount promotions that streamers can set themselves, and also allowed them to combine platform-wide discounts. If that's not possible, it would be nice if individual streamers could decide for themselves whether or not they want to participate in platform-wide promotions. watch streaks Allow streamer to track and see viewer watch streaks, so we can create rewards for long streaks etc. Maybe allow for channel point distribution to them or sub/bit discounts we can setup or maybe create special emote we can award to those with long streaks. We need to be able to see how many each user has(if they opt in to share them). Otherwise the share in chat doesn't provide anything to the viewer.

Social media badges - creator content use Social media badges given for sharing streamer content on other platforms. Users end up just using your content to get views on youtube etc and the "#" that shows its your content and not theirs doesn't bring new followers or fans. Yes, you can disable the feature altogether, but that disallows any share! Can twitch require a direct link to twitch channel when streamer's content is used to get the person sharing (not content creator) views on other platforms?

I have an idea that could help larger streamers in particular to better bridge downtime and keep viewer numbers stable: How about a kind of integrated “buffer” function for short connection interruptions or PC crashes?
Problem: When a stream suddenly drops for a major streamer, viewer numbers drop dramatically because many viewers leave. This is not only bad for the streamer, but also for Twitch, because viewers may migrate to competitors or leave altogether.

Pathfinder Category Problem The Pathfinder streaming category has an issue. 2 games have the same names. Almost every time when I select the Pathfinder TTRPG category, it gets mislabeled as the Arcade game either both on the VODs and on the stream itself. Nobody plays that arcade game, and the easiest solution is to just delete that category, but I understand if you want to keep the categories. They need to have completely distinct names in all their metadata. I'd suggest calling the TTRPG, "Pathfinder TTRPG" or calling the other game "Pathfinder Arcade Game".

Banned chatters in stream together Accounts banned from one streamer who is streaming together with others should not be banned from posting in the chat boxes of the streams they are NOT banned in. Maybe some kind of option where their messages dont show in the chat of the streams they are banned in.

Private Mod-to-Streamer Messages (Visible Only to Streamer) As a moderator, there are many situations during a live stream where I need to notify the streamer about something urgent — like visible personal info, a suspicious viewer, or a warning before issuing a ban — but I can’t say it publicly in the chat.
Right now, there’s no fast or efficient way to send a private message directly to the streamer that they can immediately see while live. Using whispers or Discord takes too long, breaks flow, or requires them to check another app — which isn’t realistic during an active stream.

Expand "Stream Events" Feature "Stream Events" are currently limited to the channel's affiliate anniversary. Stream Events are a good feature that brings attention to special streams and allows you to choose a different day to celebrate it on, which is nice if the actual anniversary date falls on a day that doesn't work for the streamer's schedule. I've definitely seen more active participation in streams for affiliate anniversaries, both as a viewer and as a streamer myself.

"Shadow-Ban" / Muting Bad-Acting Chatters Add a setting that allows streamers and moderators to shadow-ban users. This would silently mute a viewer without notifying them. The shadow-banned user could still type in chat, but their messages would be invisible to everyone — including the streamer and mods.
Since trolls thrive on attention and reactions (even from being banned), removing their visibility without alerting them would act as a strong deterrent and help maintain a positive chat environment.

Preserve Watch Streak During PC Restarts Introduce a feature that allows streamers to restart their PC due to technical issues without interrupting their Watch Streak. Currently, streamers are often reluctant to restart their systems when facing problems, fearing it will break the continuity of their stream and impact viewer retention. Make drop ins and knocks be opt-in and remove collaboration notifications By default, all streamers can receive knocks by any other live streamer. This also means that all streamers get a "[username] wants to collaboarate. Click to accept!" notification while live, which is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary.
Many streamers aren't on Twitter to even know that this feature was forced upon them, until some random person knocks and they're left confused as to what's happening live on stream, ruining their stream experience. REMOVE Drop ins and the Knock button. ALL OF THIS IS BAD. Not only does this feature FORCABLY turn on someone's webcam. someone has to disable it EVERY TIME. all these features are redundant or rife for the ability to be abused.
Colabs are already planned in advanced and discord already takes care of all of that. instead the Feature we have now is BAD.

Twitch to follow through with their promise of new and exciting promotion for DJs, to compensate for the (30%) revenue loss It was promised numerous times before and during the launch of the DJ program, but other than partner front page and ‘weekend evening DJs’ no one else is being promoted.

I really value the privacy settings you’ve already introduced, like hiding subscription badges and gifter counts. It would be great to see this same flexibility extended to leaderboards.
Currently, users can hide their subscription leaderboard status, but not for Bits. I’d love to see an option in settings to hide from the Bits leaderboard as well.
In addition, I think this feature should also apply to the Clips leaderboard. Some viewers and community members enjoy supporting or creating clips but may not want their names displayed publicly on leaderboards.
