REMOVE Drop ins and the Knock button.
ALL OF THIS IS BAD. Not only does this feature FORCABLY turn on someone's webcam. someone has to disable it EVERY TIME. all these features are redundant or rife for the ability to be abused.
Colabs are already planned in advanced and discord already takes care of all of that. instead the Feature we have now is BAD.
Many Vtuber streamers are saying that this is disrespectful because it lets in harassment.

These aren't small streamers complaining that such things AUTOMATICALLY turns on a webcam. Some people don't want to show their face. Some people have vtuber rigs.
you say you can control who knocks but all i see is "channels i follow" "partners" and "affiliates". that is FAR too open.
The creators already shedule and talk with eachother on when colabs can happen. and to have anyone with some account just waltz up and KNOCK and have a feature that forces a camera to turn on is nonsense.

I think this is a very intrusive and dangerous thing to add onto the platform as it can be used maliciously. I think I see what the idea was but this was poorly and hastily executed. I would 100% say to remove this and go back before it’s misused inappropriately or worse."
Zentreya is a vtuber that uses a voice to computer voice to hide her identity. because people on the internet can be creeps.
This screws up what she's trying to do.

Not it. This is super intrusive. The entire point of advanced planning is respect for eachother's content and schedules in the first place. 💀 What an easy way to openly get harassed."
Random people "calilng" in your stream doesn't sound like a good id3ea.

What people Wanted:
Multi-perspective Streamer viewing on one page when they play together contributing to all their viewer counts and chats.
What we got:
Linkedin for twitch?"
We had the host feature. we had the raid feature.
What purpose does this **** serve other than to show that the people at the top are not fit to make choices for themselves let alone on other people. The people making these changes suffer nothing when such ideas go wrong. No one is asked. It's all opaque.
This is the same twitch that had abusers on staff after they fired most of the original members. This is the same twitch that came up with a "trust and safety counsel".
This is the same twitch where someone was performing explicit sex acts on your platform but didn't get an expulsion. Such that minors could see it.

this feature is rather a nuisance than a helpful feature anyone un invited can come in unannounced and starts yelling out slurs getting the other streamer banned

The feature's article clearly specifies only people who are live can knock on your stream, but this isn't even fully true. If you already have people on your favorites list they are allowed to knock EVEN if they're online. Whether this is intended behavior or not, it's just one more thing to the long list of things that are wrong with this feature.
This is literally an extra step to initiate stream together, you can just invite people while you're streaming if you want to. There is absolutely no point to this and the way they're just shoving this feature that you can't even turn off in everybody's faces is intrusive and very, very bad. Stop doing this Twitch, it's not the first time you release a feature and not let people fully opt-out of it if they don't like it.
