Chapter Creation and Editing
The ability to create chapters within your VODs post-stream
There are instances where a change in stream title & category doesn't register with your stream. In cases, like so it makes it difficult for viewers to find the select point where you stream segment they want to watch is.
If created after your stream is done you would be able to go into the video mangager/editor and create select chapters in order to better organize a VOD for viewer consumption.

Video speed settings and jump forward/backward
Dear Twitch team,
Could you please add settings to the video player in the Twitch mobile app or web for mobile devices allowing user to increase video speed (1.25, 1.5, 2 times) of past broadcasts (VODs) as it is possible on the web for desktops?
OR
Problem on the web for desktops is that it is not possible to jump few seconds forward and backward in the video using tablet or mobile device as these devices do not have arrow keys. Could you add there into the video player an icon allowing the jump forward/backward on a "mouse" click or…

Clip bouton in highlighter
it might be great to be able to create clips at the same time as the highlights directly in the page. we have already created a highlight but also a clip option with the same rules (60sec max ect,) so no need to go back to the last stream and created a clip that opens a new page ... very painfull

support 120 fps with a transcode option
Summit tried 120 fps today and some ppl were reporting lag or frame drops but most ppl seemed fine with it, and kripp also tried 120 fps today but there seems to be only 1 person complaining about frame drops. Having an extra transcode option for 120 fps such as 1080p120 and the option to go back to 60 with 1080p60 would be important for making this more mainstream

Block Profanity in Live Stream and VOD
Twitch already has a feature that blocks profanity in chat. Twitch needs to also have a feature that blocks profanity the streamer uses during live streams or at least block the profanity used after the stream is seen after it is not live. Doesn't make sense to block profanity in chat, but viewers have to listen to the streamer use such language.

Link Highlights and Clips to the Broadcasts They Came From
When viewers are watching a highlight/clip, they should be able to see the broadcast (and the point in time) where the highlight/clip came from.
Alternatively, when viewers are watching a past broadcast, they should be able to see time markers where highlights and clips were created.

Split the Website
So I would like to add two new divisions of the website.
Adding past broadcasts into a separate archive and revamping the video uploads functions into a third archive (clips, highlights and uploads). All now placed into separate discoverablity sections of the website.
So at the moment everything is jumbled on the platform and user channels.
From a channel perspective it would be as simple as adding these into separate tabs, eg the about and schedule tabs.
That way you can drive more static video content creators to the platform. A rejig and rebranding of the highlights and clips features…2 votes -

Volume control changeable via mouse wheel
YouTube lets you use the mouse wheel to change the player volume.
I'd like Twitch to duplicate this functionality.
Users should be able to hover over the player controls to show them then use the mouse wheel, when hovering over the volume slider to increase/decease volume

Save streams permanently
I suggest that we are allowed to permanently save streams so that people who visit our channels have something to watch all the time when we are offline.

Support native browser picture in picture
Most modern browsers have a picture in picture mode that can be activated by right clicking on the video, or pressing a dedicated UI button. Twitch supports this natively, but only if you mess with the HTML in the Web inspector first. Please add a button for this, or let us do this by right clicking on a stream's video.

Highlight / clip overhaul and highlight section on the front page
Making highlights effortless.
-A streamer has an epic gamer moment.
-Lots of viewers clip that section during the stream.
-Twitch automatically creates a 30 second highlight of that section of the stream based on how many people clipped it.
-The streamer can set the threshold of clips to create a highlight (Eg:minimum 20 clips within 10 seconds to create a highlight) or disable it completely.
-highlight shows up on the streamer’s channel page.
-The streamer can go back and edit the highlight to be longer or shorter depending on what they want to show in the highlight. They can also…2 votes -
Disable AUTO on video player or increase it's threshold when it switches to different qualities.
Disable AUTO on video player. Even if you choose 720p after sometime it switches back to auto and freezes the stream.

Allow the viewers to be able to move the streamer's face cam to any corner of the screen
Sometimes the face cam could block important information in the HUD, such as the amount of kills that a Call of Duty: Warzone streamer has when they are going for a kill record, or competing in a kill race tournament. I think it would be extremely useful if you could just slide the face cam to a different corner of the screen to quickly see any blocked information.

Timeshift
It would be great if we were able to pause or jump back in time as it is done with YouTube lives
And also having the ability to change the speed when timeshifting
A use case for example would be watching a live from the start at 1.5x speed which gives the ability to catch up to the live stream instead of waiting for the full VOD to come out

Microphone Audio and Screen Audio separate

Sound
I would really love to be able to decide how loud the streamers voice and the streamers game is for me.
Normally Streamers have to decide how loud everything together is.
Iam not sure if this is possible, but i guess you can have different channels on one audio stream, why not make one for the game and one for voice.
Then it could be possible for the viewer to decide how loud he wants to hear these channels.

Use left and right half of the screen for video navigation just as YouTube does it.
I think the navigation of vods is pretty tedious. It would greatly benefit from a more user friendly interaction. The Android app has buttons to revert 10 seconds or skip 30 seconds. This is great, however these buttons aren't accessible enough due to being to small. As Fitts's UI design Law teaches us, the accessibility can be increased by increasing the size of the button. The way YouTube does it is splendid. The left half of the screen is used to navigate backwards and the right to navigate forwards. Then, by simply double tapping in the respective region the user…
