Ad streamlining through partner panels It feels counterintuitive from a creator stand point. Though I appreciate the stance of supporting creators, there must be better ways to implement paid ads. Personally, I'd love to see a system in place that connects partnered streamers to advertisers through some sort of partner panel. Plenty of streamers do paid ads already, but if you connect a streamer to a physical product to try on stream (a drink, snack, service, etc.) It's more interactive for the audience, and the streamer. Effectively stream lining your advertising practice, and through that service you would be able to still collect revenue of…

Ads solution!!! We know ads suck but it's what allows free content..so the problem is that it's always the wrong time for ads, Especially when its down to the end of the game and we miss the Fing last battle because some ad pops up. How about a button that you can click when your streamer is in cue or going to the bathroom etc, and it runs the ads? yes it will still run ads as normal, however, if you are due for and ad to run in the next ten minutes, by clicking the ad button, it will skip the…

Advertisements on some streams loop Ads loop, often 5+ times (especially on /cristianes2), appear almost immediately after starting the stream. Also if the stream is manually paused at some point (even if not during an ad), unpausing too often results in an ad within a minute or two.
There are other streams on which I get no ads.
(Also the same ad should never been played twice in succession, surely, as it just encourages people to be angry at the advertiser)5 votes -

Do not let ads play unpleasant and Dangerous sounds There is an anti dui ad that is currently playing 5/22/2026. The ad features a high pitched piercing sound. Combined with louder ads is incredibly dangerous and unpleasant especially if you are listening tabbed out or it is playing in another room or assume that people have high quality headphones or high quality speakers. I would assume it is especially dangerous for young kids and could probably cause hearing loss. more importantly legal action

Allow users to blacklist tags to filter out unwanted content from recommendations The Problem:
Currently, Twitch recommends channels based on tags, categories, and viewing history. However, if a user is not interested in certain content types (e.g., gambling, specific game genres, "Just Chatting" subtopics, or controversial tags), there is no way to proactively exclude them from recommendations. This leads to a cluttered directory and a less personalized browsing experience.
The Proposed Solution:
Add a user-controlled setting: "Blacklisted Tags" (or "Muted Tags"), where users can select tags they don't want to see.
Accessible via: Settings → Privacy & Preferences → Content Preferences
Functionality: When a tag is added to the blacklist, channels using…4 votes -
Twitch not paying ad revenue Just letting Twitch know. I made an effort to reach out and inform Twitch that they are NOT paying me ANY ad revenue at all. I tried three times to get Twitch to acknowledge their mistake. Yet they continue to beat around the bush and give irrelevant answers. Overall, they just ignore the issue. I even mentioned reporting to the Better Business Bureau with all the evidence I have that they used to pay me, but have ceased to pay anything at all. This was a serious imposition if they continued ignore the issue. That being the case, I WILL…

Add incentive - Ads are annoying. 2. Many streamers, barely get any views. 3. My proposed solution is the following.
Incentivize viewers to click a “shuffle “ button within a category on the browse section, i.e. for a game they like, and they’ll get to watch a random stream without ads for streamers who opt in to that program. So the streamers would be giving up ad value to get exposure. The viewers would receive an ad free experience for free. And then once a given streamer has a lot of viewers or followers he can turn ads on and opt out of…

Stop playing ads that are not in my language There needs to be an option on an account level that lets you directly specify that you only want ads that are in your language. My whole family just started getting ads in Spanish when it never used to happen before, EVER.
I don't speak enough Spanish to actually know what they are saying, so the ad is absolutely useless and I just end up muting it anyway.

Have ads play at the volume setting of the stream volume I often have the stream volume set to a low value because I use in ear earphone, but when ads play they are blasting at much higher volume until I manually adjust the volume slider of the app. This happens for EVERY ad that plays. And some streamers I watch will have like a 3 minute block of ads run every hour or so, and each ad must have its volume adjusted to not blow out my ear drums. Please make it so that ads play at the volume setting of the app, not some default if the default is…

Ads are too long Streams start with 2 mins of ads (Some times even 5 mins) then I get to watch the streamer for 30 seconds to a minute before another set of 2 min ads. I see more ads than I do the streamer. Maybe consider toning down the length of ads...

Stop trying to evolve your ads to fight against adblockers People will use adblockers if they dont want to see ads, if you try to fight against them to make them watch ads for more money, you end up ruining the platform for other people.
Examples being more ads in general, injecting the ads into the player and making the stream buffer every time ads are played, and many more.
Im subbed to a channel, and with my adblockers DISABLED my stream actually buffers more than if im on a channel that im not subbed to with my adblocker on.
This is the same even when on different browsers/devices.Ways…

I saw an ad for what I am pretty sure is an illegal MMO Boosting site. I've already sent a report to Blizzard themselves but I don't believe you should be airing advertisements for this.

Adblocker detection is broken However you have implemented the "Adblock detection" it is broken. I keep getting the warning:
"Running ad block? Consider Turbo.Twitch Turbo enables ad-free viewing while still supporting streamers."
I do not have adblock active on twitch, I see ads on most channels but a handful of channels I get this warning on. Please remove generic adblockers such as Ublock Origin that DOES NOT BLOCK TWITCH ADS from your banned list

Shared Chat Ignore Specific Accounts From Showing On Shared Chat Shared Chat is an amazing feature that was recently added but since many Streamers use multiple Chat bots like Streamlabs, Streamelements, Nightbot, etc. if a command or a Chat alert is used it shows up on both Chat instead of just your own. It would be super helpful so that you can designate specific accounts to not show up in Shared Chat to alleviate confusion and clutter

Make it difficult to use viewerbot to increase ad revenue I've been a moderator on a few channels and I've always noticed a lot of bot accounts during many broadcasts, and I understand why some verified channels have an average of 100 viewers and in some cases there are 2 people chatting during the entire broadcast.
Even checking the Twitch FrontPage or those that are on Lurk and many accounts don't follow the channel, they've never sent a message but are always there in the chat.
I use the 'Twitch enhancer' extension to check how many accounts are connected and there are a huge number of streamers going through this…

Absolute press release to Japanese, features, subscription price improvements We should consider improving the absolute, functionality, and subscription prices of press releases to the Japanese market.
I also believe that there should be more standards for affiliate programs and partners.
It is small communities like mine that will be affected.
Most of the time, it is the partner's voice that decides.
However, most streamers and viewers in Japan are unaware of the tip/cheer culture. Many people have only recently become somewhat familiar with the subscription system.
They need to explain the features in Japanese in detail for the Japanese.
I have been subscribed and broadcasting on twitch for many…4 votes
